23/06/2026: A disappointing experience. On a Saturday night, when there was literally no one there, the service was slow, which was all the more absurd given that we were simply waiting for a mixed platter. The platter was presented deceptively: a handful of crumpled salad leaves to give the illusion of volume, when in reality, the plate was desperately empty. The cheese slices were extremely thin. We paid top dollar only to end the evening still hungry, to the point of having to eat when we got home.

22/06/2026: We were a group of seven and were very disappointed with this place. The waitress wasn't very friendly; she pressured two people in our group to order drinks even though they had stomach aches, saying in a rather curt tone, "It's one drink per person minimum." With that kind of attitude, I understand why the bar was empty on a Friday night in summer. The musty smell in the establishment didn't improve our experience at all.

15/06/2026: The young saleswoman was particularly unpleasant. I had clearly stated from the start that it was takeout, yet everything was placed on a tray. When I pointed this out, she sighed irritably and criticized me for not going "to the other side," even though no one was there and I had already specified that. Furthermore, a croissant I had paid for wasn't even put in my bag. I don't always check my order; I expect it to be complete. I was very disappointed by the service and the lack of professionalism.

09/06/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience. The welcome wasn't very pleasant, and the overall state of the restrooms is truly appalling. Everything needs to be addressed: the tap is loose, there was no toilet paper, and to top it all off, the soap dispenser was broken, making it impossible to even wash my hands properly. This is regrettable and gives a very bad impression of the establishment! I hope these issues will be resolved quickly.

05/07/2026: Disappointed Passing through Mulhouse from Switzerland, we arrived and everything was closed! The website said OPEN! The restaurant seems to be permanently closed...so be careful if you're coming from far away like us

18/02/2026: My partner and I drove 30 minutes on February 18, 2026, only to find the buffet closed. We had checked online beforehand to see if it was open, and it was indeed listed as open. This is unacceptable for people who have made the trip. At the very least, they should update their online hours and inform customers of the closure. We will never go back there; we are completely disappointed!

22/08/2026: Mass-produced food with tarte flambée served on paper instead of on a board. The taste was okay. Be careful when paying by credit card: a 10% service charge is automatically added. In France, service is already included.

22/08/2026: We took a boat trip. The guide was very friendly, but the price of 9 euros for 15/20 minutes on the boat is really excessive.

15/01/2026: Quite disappointed, not to say totally. Having come regularly for a few years before the opening of its direct competitor (Sch...) a few meters away, it seems to me that no improvements have been made: No friendly welcome, no smiles, dirty outdoor tables and frangipane at €14.90, really not great.

23/12/2025: I often get my various sandwiches, bread, and pastries there... A real treat, plus the staff are very friendly, which is why I'm a regular.

21/08/2026: If I could have given zero stars, I would have. I don't think this applies to all the chicken sandwiches, or maybe the quality has gone down, but I ordered a Niçoise chicken sandwich and oh my god, it was awful! Dry bread, sauce? They must have forgotten it or cut corners on it. The chicken was the same 🤷🏻‍♀️. I thought I'd leave a negative review because, honestly, paying 5 bucks for this! Next time I'll just buy a Sodebo salad and it'll be cheaper... but the worst was yet to come. I was eating my sandwich almost to the end when I felt something hard. I spat it out to see, and that's when I discovered a huge piece of plastic in the sandwich. It's a disgrace, not so much the piece of plastic itself, but the worst part is that I could have hurt myself. Judge for yourselves in the photo. First and last time. Owner's response 10 minutes ago We are sincerely sorry for this inconvenience. We fully understand the disappointment this situation may have caused. To allow our quality department to investigate the cause of this incident and get back to you with a clear explanation, it would have been preferable to return the product in question to the store, if possible. Nevertheless, we take your comment very seriously and thank you for alerting us. It will be passed on to our teams to strengthen our vigilance. Following your response, I would like to clarify that I did return the product to the Poulaillon stand. The employee apologized and offered me a coffee or a drink, which I declined. I think a refund for the sandwich would have been more appropriate.

19/10/2025: It was near the hotel where I was staying. It took 45 minutes before they even asked me what I wanted to drink. Another 20 minutes passed before they came to take my order (after I had to remind the server). So I just grabbed a burger to save time. Honestly, it wasn't anything special... I don't know what was actually good about it... Anyway. I wouldn't go back there myself. Cheers

17/10/2025: This restaurant is a disaster, with exorbitant prices for the type of food offered. Friday evening at 8 PM, only two tables were occupied in the entire restaurant: a couple and a table of three. That was already a bad sign, and it was confirmed. The amount of sauce to accompany your meat was so minimal it was a joke; next, it would be served in a teaspoon. For dessert, there were no spoons to eat the ice cream. There were three of us, and I got up to complain. There was no sugar with the coffee either, and not even an apology for the oversight. He brought a spoon, even though there were three desserts. He told me, "You said one spoon, it's almost as if we were at fault for their oversight." We ordered an XL waffle sundae and a Bueno, but there was no Bueno, despite a nice picture on the menu. Instead, they put three marshmallows in without asking if we liked them or offering an alternative dessert. This same dessert was supposed to have Nutella, but there was no trace of it, just a little bit of... Chocolate sauce, a pre-made waffle, and two scoops of ice cream, all for €9.95—a rip-off and a misleading menu if you go by the picture and the name of the dessert... We ordered a "café gourmand," an espresso with half a pre-made waffle, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a small pot of whipped cream with speculoos that was inedible, enough to make you sick. The cream wasn't fresh, it smelled rancid, and had a suspicious taste, which we reported, but they offered no replacement or apology for the inconvenience. A strawberry tartlet was missing, and the extremely unpleasant waiter told us it was written on the website that the tartlet is only served seasonally...lol. I'm at the same restaurant where I'm eating on the website; what kind of ludicrous response is that? They don't warn you, I have to guess or specify it on the menu, it's apparently too complicated for them, but the price remains the same with or without the tartlet. This restaurant is a joke! The waiter refused to smell the tub of whipped cream, so confident is he in their fresh produce, and told me to lower my voice. I must be dreaming, I've never seen anything like it. I told him I would leave a negative review and I hoped his superiors would see it and take responsibility. He looked at me with a smile and replied, "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" This gentleman still thinks he can talk down to customers, unbelievable! The total for this espresso, half an industrial waffle, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a tub of inedible whipped cream, was €9.40. Three tables occupied, including ours, on a Friday night was suspicious, and it was confirmed. Go eat somewhere else; you'll be better received and treated with more consideration for a much more reasonable price, and above all, with good ingredients. Our first and last time in this so-called restaurant. (Customer, table of 3 people: 1 adult and 2 children) With a total bill of €132 reduced to €128 for this sorry spectacle of a restaurant and a lack of respect for customers... I'm keeping the bill to prove my visit to your establishment if you dispute my opinion or doubt it.

02/08/2026: We stumbled upon this little place by chance and it was a delightful discovery. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. The dish (sirloin steak with Munster cheese) was superb. The quality-price ratio was outstanding! In short: a place that deserves to be known and recommended.

31/07/2026: Frozen food and a long wait; the Munster rösti were bland and had very little Munster cheese. The wine was also very bad. The prices are reasonable, but for the wrong reason: nothing is good! Avoid this place; it's a tourist trap.

16/07/2026: We came for a snack and opted for the €9 set menu: a croque monsieur and a drink. She told us it was for takeout and that eating in would be €10.50, but with fries included. Perfect, we took that and sat down, mentioning we'd have ice cream for dessert. The bill came to €29.40, going from €9 for takeout to €10.50 without the drink, which wasn't mentioned. Admittedly, we trusted her word and didn't look at the entire menu in detail, but we felt cheated. We were treated like Americans. Pay close attention to what you order, and if you walk a few dozen meters, you'll find plenty of other places where you don't have to be so vigilant. The ice cream will be elsewhere.

17/06/2026: On Sunday, we ordered the set menu. When it came time to pay, the payment terminal wasn't working properly, so we had to swipe our card a second time. As a result, the amount was debited from our account twice. We returned to the restaurant and, despite the promise of a refund, we still haven't received it. We are very disappointed by this situation and are still waiting for the promised refund. Due defect in pin apparaat 2 x betaald. Oigenaar wilde ons niet geloven en terug ondanks dat we het konden laten zien. Advice: ergens anders gaan eten

11/04/2026: I was given a coffee containing a hair. When I pointed this out, I even had to defend myself, and he asked if I had a problem. I replied that this was not the case and simply pointed out to him that there was a hair in my coffee. After a sneer from the owner, I received a new coffee, but this time there was red lipstick on the cup.

14/08/2026: The food was passable, but the waitress was nowhere near as good. The woman's rudeness was so profound that one might legitimately wonder if her entire family had been murdered in front of her. They say the customer is always right, but with her, he's a clown; she actually dared to tell a colleague, in front of everyone else, "They're being a pain today," after she'd simply asked for cups! In short, as you can tell, I don't recommend it, unless you're into masochistic tendencies or the barking doesn't bother you! The very friendly colleagues, however, make up for (and thankfully) the poor service of this little place. (My sincere thanks to them!)

14/08/2026: The food was very good, but the waitress needs improvement; she was impatient and unpleasant, telling her colleague we were being pushy. Please, leave her in the kitchen and keep her away from any social interaction; she definitely doesn't know how to handle people!

29/08/2026: We ate well, the food was delicious.

17/08/2026: I was feeling unwell due to climate and came in hoping to have just a simple lentil soup to warm up and recover. Instead of basic hospitality, the waitress was outright rude, telling me I either had to take it away or order more dishes to be allowed to have inside. ​Refusing to serve a solo diner who just wants a light meal—especially someone visibly sick—unless they spend more is appalling treatment. Zero warmth, zero empathy, and unacceptable customer service. I hope no one comes here for meal.

29/07/2026: This restaurant is absolutely filthy. The staff is incredibly unfriendly. I ate there twice, and both times I saw mice and cockroaches. The pizzas weren't great, and I strongly advise against going there. The manager practically shoves his nose in your face for five minutes. After all, he makes pizzas! I strongly advise against it!

28/07/2026: I'm very unhappy. I paid extra for mushrooms on my pizza and I only got three measly bits of mushrooms on top of it. That's unacceptable. The toppings leave much to be desired... they need to make a serious effort to improve.
