03/12/2025: We were very disappointed. We waited over half an hour to be served, even though the restaurant was practically empty. The staff made no effort to explain or apologize for the wait. Frankly, the experience was very bad, and we won't be going back.

16/09/2024: Made by a Japanese female chef who is good at cooking. This is a Japanese side dish restaurant. It was really delicious. About 20 minutes by car from Blois. Close to Chambourne Castle. This is a side dish restaurant recommended even by Japanese people.

25/08/2024: Wonderful place and people in the restaurant 🤍♥️🤍 There was no spot so they made an effort to setup a table for us, that was really caring 🙏 Service was exactly what you expect from Japanese, always made time for everyone and highly efficient, just 2 people taking care of the whole restaurant including take away, Sugoi! 🚀 I also got a crush on the waiter 🫢 Arigatō gozaimasu

20/09/2024: Repas très expéditif, vous n'avez pas le temps de lire la carte qu'un serveur vient 2 fois vous demander ce que vous avez choisi. Les plats sont quelconques, insipides à la limite fast-food asiatique si vous n'avez pas choisi "un bateau" Globalement, nous avons pris le temps de regarder les autres tables (7 tables), les clients restent moins d'une heure et ils sont remplacés par de nouveaux clients en moins de de 120 secondes (voir 30 secondes pour 2 tables) ! Le décor est sympa mais l'ambiance et le bruit ne sont pas DU TOUT ZEN !

13/11/2025: A Japanese restaurant run by Japanese people with affordable prices. Good okonomiyaki, very good Genmaicha tea, delicious matcha ice cream with red bean paste.

08/11/2025: The staff was incredible. Two of the nicest guys serving me. I had the ramen with pork. And of course I added some gyoza. I was all very good.

14/12/2024: Visiting Bordeaux we had lunch at the samurai on 14/12 Excellent really...perfect welcome thank you impeccable sushi skewers of meat or fish ditto very good I recommend this Japanese with my eyes closed. Just missing some Japanese background music 🤗. Regarding the price I find it fair and justified and very affordable. See you soon and thank you for your welcome.

02/07/2025: I've been there countless times and never took the time to write a review... I love this restaurant. The pork ramen remains my favorite and I always had dessert since the prices remain affordable, it's generous and really nice, I recommend it!

20/09/2024: Updated 09/24 OMG, cold ramen!!! A logical (and yeah, that's what you should order at 40° - duh) and gustatory (absolute delight) revelation. Since then, I've only had one idea in mind: to go back and order several portions, just for me. --- 2023 Homemade ramen, delicate broth, beautiful Japanese dishes. Simplicity but also a warm and smiling welcome. There's a bit of a wait, it's true, but I really liked this place. Staff attentive to food allergies.
