20/08/2026: We went in after seeing 4.6 ⭐ on Google Maps. The place was empty when we got there, but it was relatively early so we didn't think much of it. The place was nicely decorated. Once our order was placed, we were served quickly! The only problem I had with the place was that the food was quite bland. Overall not bad for a quick bite but I don't think I'd go there for a full-on meal again.

20/08/2026: I ordered takeout, and the maki rolls were all cut on the bias, so they were tiny. It was like they just took one maki roll, cut it in half, and arranged the pieces as if nothing had happened! Also, I ordered vinegared rice to go with my meal, and it was simply bland and lacked the vinegar flavor of the rice on the menu. You can really tell they're trying to maximize their profits, and that reduces the enjoyment and the portion size. It's a shame; I was really looking forward to a delicious meal.

21/09/2026: The sushi and California rolls are extremely good, and the service is quick and very pleasant. I enjoy them every week.

11/07/2026: We came as a group of four. Two people were served, and the other two waited half an hour while watching them eat. Then you finally get the rice, but not the skewers that go with it. You get them fifteen minutes later, and by then you've already eaten the rice, etc. The staff is unpleasant, doesn't answer questions, and pretends not to understand or hear the customer. As for desserts, there's not a very wide selection, except maybe ice cream, and even then... Really disappointed. 😡

09/07/2026: The food is good. Most of the servers are helpful, except for the cashier who has been dishonest several times and is appalling.

24/05/2026: Everything was delicious, the staff was friendly, and most importantly—something that's rare—the prices are affordable with impeccable food quality! (€13.40 for lunch: miso soup + rice + coleslaw + 6 salmon and avocado California rolls + 6 salmon maki rolls is literally unbeatable, especially in the 6th arrondissement. They also generously offered me a free drink.) I highly recommend it!! ✨

The service is quick and the servers are friendly :) I had a great time surrounded by good friends in a calm atmosphere on a quiet roadside. I highly recommend it if you're in the area and looking for a fresh and satisfying meal!

19/09/2026: Well, I'm writing this review because I think it's necessary... I went to this restaurant a few years ago, and my partner vomited all night, a few hours after eating. We thought it was a coincidence. My parents went back two days ago... disaster! They were sick all night and felt nauseous for several days in a row. We've been regulars for years. But now, there's no way we're going back to this restaurant. The food has gone downhill, and that's a real shame.

07/10/2026: It's always such a pleasure to come here. Whether it's before the dentist or for a date, it's a comforting place I've known since my final year of high school (7 years ago). The dishes on the menu are all excellent. The level of spiciness is just perfect. For people who like spicy food, but in a sophisticated way, where you can taste the flavors, where you travel from spice to spice while still enjoying the taste of shiitake and noodles, you'll be in heaven. The only downside is that the portions are a bit large for someone as short as me (150 cm). But don't worry, they do takeout 😁. Watching your dish being prepared, getting intoxicated by the aromas, is just amazing. The staff is always attentive and takes into account our little habits and tastes, and gives us great advice. Thank you for introducing me to hiyachi chuka this summer. A marvel, in my top 5 favorite dishes along with Corsican coppa, Serbian guibanitsa, and carbonara (taliattele). I highly recommend the tantanmen, which are generous and the best I've had in all of Bordeaux. It's impossible to find the same flavor and balance of taste—intense yet delicate—in Poitiers, Angoulême, or even Toulouse.

03/08/2026: We had dinner at this restaurant, just the two of us, and it was a truly fantastic experience! The atmosphere is peaceful, the servers are incredibly friendly, helpful, and always smiling, and the food is delicious—the salmon is top-notch. I recommend it 200%! PS: Special mention goes to the lychee ice cream mochi, which are simply divine.
