18/03/2026: One of our favorite restaurants. Good fish, pleasant atmosphere, and it's great to watch the chef prepare the dishes.

17/03/2026: In summary: Insufficient value for money. Microscopic portions for exorbitant prices and average quality. Passable service in a tiny restaurant. I don't understand the overwhelmingly positive reviews. In detail: ----- Positive points - The welcome was quite good, even though the servers spoke very little French. ---- Points to improve - The service is fast but very sloppy (no spoon even though you're served miso soup?) and you have to ask for everything. ---- Negative points: 1/ The restaurant is tiny, on two floors. There's barely enough room to move around. 2/ The miso broth served was tasteless. Water, salt, and suspended particles, but no miso flavor. 3/ The portions served are ridiculously small, while the price is very high. For €25.50, I received 14 tiny pieces of sashimi (each "sashimi" was barely half the size of a "regular" portion). Furthermore, the amount of rice was also very small (half a small bowl). You can see the sizes in the photos... I didn't really understand what justified the high prices given the small portions served and the fact that the fish wasn't anything special... And the worst part is that I was still hungry when I left. I wouldn't particularly recommend this restaurant, especially if you're hungry.

04/03/2026: An ideal restaurant; you'd think you were in Japan, except you're in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. The service is impeccable. I highly recommend it; the freshness and crispness of their products remind me of Japan. Thank you for this little trip without leaving Paris. I hope to see you again very soon and I recommend everyone come and try them.

27/02/2026: Delicious sushi made fresh to order! But a very cold welcome.

18/03/2026: The service was a bit slow. I had a Bento 3, which was fairly decent and reasonably priced, but I also ordered Cantonese rice. It arrived very late and I was extremely disappointed. There was no filling, just about ten pieces of bacon, a few eggs, and three peas lost in the bowl. I asked for a simple gesture of goodwill or a little more filling, and I was politely told, "It's normal for Cantonese rice not to have much filling." (The rice was mixed in the photo to create the illusion of more filling, but unfortunately, there was no surprise).

18/02/2026: An exceptional establishment, nothing to complain about, everything was perfect. The staff, the rooms, the cleanliness, the restaurant. I highly recommend this hotel. One small drawback: the pool needs to be heated more. Thank you all for the warm welcome.

15/02/2026: A perfect stay at the Hotel Le Rock Noir! We received a warm welcome from a young and dynamic team. Everything was perfect for making us feel completely at home, with attentive service. A lovely hotel that I highly recommend and plan to return to during our next stay in Serre Chevalier! It's well located, right at the foot of the slopes and close to shops. The après-ski spa is incredibly comfortable! (Perhaps the pool temperature could be raised a few degrees...?). The small fire on the terrace, besides being warm, is a wonderfully cozy spot to enjoy a drink and roast marshmallows 🫶🏻. Thank you so much!!

26/02/2026: As a traveler, for experiencing the proper culture, vibe and kitchen of Japan, this is definitely place to go 😊 I had one of the best unagi don, especially out of the Japan. Japanese lady was very lovely and made us feel like we visited Japan itself. Can’t wait to return 😊

25/02/2026: We've loved this place for years! The quality is always there, it's delicious, subtle, and fresh! And on top of that, the welcome is so warm – a real gem in the 15th arrondissement!

08/03/2026: If you're near Herblay, if you love sushi and Japanese food, and if you're really hungry, head straight to Hoki Sushi! I tried the all-you-can-eat menu on Sunday (there's no buffet; you order at your table). I'm a big fan of the shrimp Tumpura; they're perfect, and everything else on the menu is high-quality and very fresh. I almost forgot to mention that the menu is only €25, so there's no reason to go anywhere else. I'll definitely be back.

29/01/2026: I had the chance to try the sushi from Osaka Sushi for takeout. It was the best value for money I've ever had. The sushi was excellent, and the miso soup was great too. I'll definitely be back!

22/02/2026: I write reviews when I'm delighted... and outraged. The restaurant's atmosphere is soothing and the food is of satisfactory quality, which makes you want to stay. But the service is appalling (not just once - every time). And what about the portions? The salmon is good, but to say the slices are thin is an understatement... and the price isn't any cheaper than elsewhere, perhaps even slightly higher. Have the audacity to make an unusual request, and you'll be well received. You might be lucky enough to have a good experience - as for me, I won't be going back 😉

Warm welcome, professional and friendly staff, nice decor, really delighted 👍 and the plates nicely decorated without being over the top and above all with flavor, homemade at last!!! Adequate quantity, for lovers of good meat, choose the rib-eye steak, I recommend it (in the user's photo, the second piece offered) because it's a real rib-eye steak, its size and taste 😍🤤👌very good experience, keep it up and you'll go far

03/03/2026: We arrived at 9 pm on a Tuesday evening. The waitress told us she would take us, but that the restaurant closed at 10 pm. The service was incredibly unpleasant: we didn't even have time to choose our dishes. A colleague with allergies wasn't even informed about the mandatory allergens and was therefore forced to give up on dining at the restaurant. "It's better not to order, yes," we were told. I think it was the worst welcome I've ever received. The food itself is quite good, which is a shame.
