18/08/2026: We love this restaurant; we drive an hour and twenty minutes to get there. You'll rarely find such high-quality fish. Honestly, it's the closest we've found to authentic Japanese fish. It's excellent, and the staff is lovely.

26/07/2026: If you're looking to experience authentic Japanese flavors (dishes, beers, appetizers, sake, etc.) in a relaxed setting far removed from the ostentatious displays of typical Japanese restaurants, then come to La Cantine Japonaise. As for the food, the pork gyoza are delicious, the tori no karaage (tender salad) is excellent, and the katsu-don and ebiten curry udon are also great. I didn't get a chance to try the matcha and dark chocolate cookies, but the mochi ice cream and the green tea/yuzu ice cream are perfect for dessert. A wonderful and unique spot in Lyon!

01/08/2026: We had a 7 course menu at Enyaa, paired with some sake and it was fantastic! We're great fans of Japan and have been there, and we found back at Enyaa similar taste and flavours. Products are of great quality, special mention for the tuna sashimi and the wagyu beef. Service was top notch, and the place is really zen. Great address!

If you're adventurous and eager to discover new flavors, you'll be well served. The owners are very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend it.

Impeccable service and a pleasant chat with the waiter in a beautifully decorated dining room. A nice bonus is that some dishes are already vegetarian or can be adapted for vegetarians. 18/08/2026: As a long-time sushi lover, I consider this establishment the best on the Right Bank in terms of value for money. This is the second time this year I've had my order delivered directly without using Uber Eats: the delivery drivers from this establishment were truly professional (polite, pleasant, and exemplary). Tonight, for example, I ordered mixed platters: the hot and cold items were neatly separated in different bags. And the icing on the cake was that, even though I didn't order a drink, they took the initiative to slip a complimentary chilled beverage into the bag containing the cold items—I imagine to keep them nice and cold. I particularly appreciate this dual customer service: maintaining the quality of the product plus a gift from the restaurant. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this establishment.

15/08/2026: Great restaurant, the fish is incredibly fresh, so the sashimi is amazing. The sushi portions are extremely generous, perhaps even a little too much rice, which detracts from the excellent flavor of the fish. Otherwise, everything is great.

09/09/2026: Very friendly welcome, genuine Japanese staff from the dining room to the kitchen 👍😁 Small menu 👍😁 We'd been wanting to eat there for two years, given the rather positive Google reviews. In short, quite disappointed 😞 However, the value for money is impeccable 👍 it's very fair. It wasn't bad, but not exceptional either 🫤 but we weren't hungry when we left the restaurant 😉 The starter, included in the price of the main course (nice touch), was a simple mixed salad, but the dressing was good. 👍 + A small bowl of cucumber with seaweed and sesame, nothing special. 😞 For the main course, we had a breaded assortment, not bad, but nothing special either. 😞 It came with rice that was too soggy and, above all, tasteless. 😞 On the other hand, the miso soup was nice. 👍😁 For dessert, I tried the homemade red bean ice cream 😍 I loved it. Original, with a subtle chestnut flavor. It was definitely my favorite dish of the restaurant. 😁 In conclusion, based on the Google reviews, I think you should try another dish from the one we ordered.
