06/06/2026: A brasserie where the food is excellent. It's hearty and homemade. The staff is very welcoming and pleasant. The truffade was superb and stayed piping hot until the last bite. The desserts are wonderfully fresh. The strawberry mousse sundae and the fruit salad were absolutely delicious.

The owner and waitress were welcoming and attentive to the customers. They also have options for children. Thank you again!

01/04/2026: I would return without hesitation. I stayed at this inn for a month on a business trip, and it was an excellent experience from beginning to end. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of work. The thoughtful touches every day really make a difference and make the stay even more enjoyable. As for the food, it's a real treat! From the onion soup and the butcher's cuts to the truffade and aligot, everything is delicious, generous, and prepared with care. Authentic, high-quality cuisine that you particularly appreciate over time. A huge thank you to Lionel, Ilena, Stéphanie, as well as the cooks, who were always attentive to our wishes, expectations, and even our preferences. Their warm welcome and kindness create a friendly atmosphere where you quickly feel right at home. An address I recommend without hesitation!

Fresh, local produce, very friendly and professional waitresses who provide information on the origins of all the ingredients. I highly recommend you go and see them; honestly, it's worth the trip.

02/07/2026: We ordered stuffed cabbage the day before. Delicious! An aperitif with peanuts is a rare treat these days. Seasonal desserts (cherry clafoutis, apricot tart...) all homemade. I highly recommend this inn. The service was impeccable, with no waiting. A smiling and pleasant waitress. A lovely inn at the foot of the Sancy mountains and the Chaudefour Valley. We will definitely return. Thank you to the chefs.

17/06/2026: On a cycling trip, I called the day before to book a lunch break. The restaurant was full, but the owner found us a small table near the counter. After a 30km climb, what a pleasant surprise! A restaurant like in the old days. Tradespeople, construction workers, retirees out for a stroll… a lovely atmosphere. Simple but authentic cuisine (coq au vin, truffade, and a homemade blueberry/raspberry tart) – not exactly light fare, but that kind of thing didn't exist in restaurants back then. A taste of genuine Auvergne after visiting the must-see spots in this beautiful region. Thank you to the Auberge de la Cabane.

01/07/2026: A really good kebab. The fries were natural, it felt more like McDonald's than anything else. The young woman was very kind and welcoming, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. I went with my son and ordered the kids' meal; he even got a gift in his meal and some candy on the way out. We went back and I'll definitely go again if I'm in the area. Thank you!

The sushi is excellent, the coleslaw is a delight, and the desserts are to die for!!! The waiter and even the chef are attentive to ensuring our satisfaction, and they certainly delivered. I will definitely be back and recommend it 300%!
