30/03/2026: I ordered two pizzas to take away today, Pizza Bolognaise and Pruscetta i Fungi. Both pizzas were very well-balanced in flavor, with very juicy toppings and excellent quality. The owners are very friendly and cheerful, and the location is great, right on the main road.

29/11/2025: If you want a lunch special that's been reheated or simply kept warm for ages (today's chicken cordon bleu), go for it! Otherwise, steer clear! And to top it off, the wine we ordered never arrived... And the hanger steak was definitely half a hanger steak! And the lady at the counter, she needs to know when to stop!

15/03/2026: I've lived 100 meters from this pizzeria for eight months, and yesterday was the first time I tried it. I'm disappointed I didn't come sooner! 😂 A 40cm pizza for under €15, generous, delicious, and flavorful. They told me it would take 25 minutes, and I arrived 25 minutes later—perfect timing! The pizza maker was incredibly friendly, both on the phone and in person, and very accommodating (I asked for raclette cheese instead of Munster). In short, as you can tell, I definitely plan to come back for my pizzas from now on. It was simply fantastic. Best of luck to your whole team!

However, I think the owners and Staff from Hotel-Restaurant La Bonne Franquette absolutely deserved it. I spent my 2026 Easter Weekend there. My room was clean and the bed very comfy, the food at the restaurant was excellent. But most importantly, the Staff was simply incredible. I hope that my trips will bring me back to the Alsace, if this happen, I will book there again on a heartbeat.

30/03/2026: I had a lovely experience at this restaurant in Strasbourg. The service was very friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and enjoyable atmosphere. The onion tart was delicious, perfectly baked with great flavor. The sausage selection was also excellent—hearty, flavorful, and very satisfying. The 50% discount through The Fork made it absolutely worth it and great value for money. I would definitely recommend it!

29/03/2026: We didn't get to enjoy our meal because we made the cardinal error of not making a reservation, which might be naive and careless, but it doesn't justify being turned away so arrogantly and rudely by the waitress. I find atmosphere and service extremely important when dining out, and since we were coming from a hike, we felt like we were being treated like vagrants. A real shame.

17/04/2026: A terrible dining experience and an unpleasant owner who speaks to you as if you were a child – avoid at all costs. I absolutely do not recommend it.

17/04/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit to this restaurant. We were greeted by a very kind and pleasant waitress, but our disappointment came at the end of the meal when we unfortunately left three-quarters of our salad because our stomachs were too full, which can happen. We didn't even have time to ask or say anything before a blonde woman came over and lectured us, clearly raising her voice because we hadn't finished. We asked to take it home so as not to waste it, but we were told, verbatim, "No, it's going, you should have finished it; we don't do doggy bags here," even though it's unfortunately the law. Following this, the woman came back to us, demanding, but more accurately, forcing us to finish our salad. Out of three waitresses, there's clearly one who not only doesn't know the law, but even less about basic manners.

19/03/2026: I went on a Tuesday and it was closed. It turns out they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, which is terrible. Tourists who only spend one day in the city don't get the chance to see the place. They've failed at tourism management.

13/03/2026: Beautiful setting for eating Madeleines and cakes. You do have to reserve at least 3 months in advance. You can, however, buy and view some items in the shop. Well worth a visit.

03/01/2026: Idyllically situated, an old half-timbered house surrounded by greenery with outdoor seating, a small dining room with an adjoining room. Fine dishes, interesting menu suggestions, excellent desserts, and good wines. The service is very attentive. Reservations are required. We were satisfied and will come again.

13/03/2026: Very good. We had the beef fillet with morel sauce 😋. Impeccable service and a great menu. The ingredients are always fresh, considering how popular the place is. Reservations are recommended. Dogs are welcome.
