19/02/2026: Pastry chef, chocolatier, and caterer: a true delight for the palate and a great place for those with a sweet tooth, offering fine and original pastries to enjoy in the tea room or to take away, homemade artisanal ice cream, and even some savory items in the deli section for lunch... Prices are higher than elsewhere, but the quality justifies them...

02/03/2026: March 1st, 2026. The children had iced tea for €3.40, which was just cheap Norma-style iced tea syrup. The appetizers were good. When we got to the main course, the €66 set menu for two people contained maybe 50-60 grams of meat (we stopped at the doner kebab because we were still hungry)!!!!! My wife ordered sweet and sour duck, but the meat had a terrible, inedible smell, as did the meat at the table next to us, which they sent back to the kitchen!! The waitress didn't apologize, just gave us a big smile. We were still charged for the duck!!!!! The bill came to €177 for two adults and two children!!!! In short, a very expensive restaurant with tiny portions, so keep walking, it's not worth it.

08/03/2026: We had a VIP room for one night for a concert at the Zenith. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation for a concert in Strasbourg. It's very well located; you can walk to the Zenith in about fifteen minutes. The staff is fantastic, both at reception and in the restaurant. The room wasn't very warm when we arrived, so we went to reception to ask if it could be turned up. It was no problem at all, and the temperature was just right for us. Breakfast was also very good. In short, you can judge for yourselves, but for us, it will definitely be back for another concert. A little shout-out to the lady in the restaurant: sauerkraut will have to wait until next time!! 🤣 Mr. and Mrs. Remetter

22/03/2026: If you enjoy surprises and logistical challenges, this bar is for you. We had booked "The Den" for 10 people at 7 pm. Arriving at 6:50 pm, we were delighted to discover that our table was already occupied and that the staff had no intention of moving the current occupants. The most impressive part? The waiter proudly showed us the sticky note with our reservation on the counter. He remembered us perfectly well, but apparently, memory is no substitute for a table. To top it all off, we were asked to wait 15 minutes in the cold to get… a table for 6. For 10 people, this is a bold concept of human interaction. A customer experience I would only recommend to those who enjoy drafts and rough calculations.

29/01/2026: The baguettes are fresh, high-quality, and delicious! However, two female waitresses (two short women, one of whom wears glasses) are unfriendly, disrespectful, aggressive, insolent, and incredibly frustrating! They significantly detract from my positive perception of the bread sold at this establishment! When I wait 15 minutes every day and, just as I'm about to be served, they aggressively criticize me for taking too long to choose how I want my bread done, it's outrageous! I could easily be annoyed at having waited so long to be served, and yet, I remain cheerful! Especially since I know exactly what I want quickly: bread that's not overcooked! It's not my fault if they don't always understand which baguettes I want! I can understand them being in a bad mood because of low wages and difficult working conditions due to staff shortages! However, I shouldn't have to put up with their deplorable attitude for a situation I'm not responsible for! If they're not happy, they should resign and go work elsewhere, leaving their positions to serious and friendly people who will legitimately focus on satisfying the customer!

10/01/2026: As a long-time customer, I'm a big fan of their specialty breads... And apparently, this bakery has become a place that only sells baguettes, especially on Saturdays. I'm disappointed every Saturday morning... I'll probably stop going.

14/01/2026: This is what 76 euros looks like at Mavrommatis. I abandoned my tabbouleh at the checkout after seeing they were charging 19 euros for it (it's parsley, guys, it's literally a 1-euro bunch of parsley from Pro Intermarché with 2 grams of tomatoes, come on!). And sure, it tasted like heaven, okay, but this... No. It's MEDIOCRE! Run away if you don't want to blow your savings.

21/03/2026: I am absolutely furious with Taksim Halal. The food arrived after a two-hour wait, it was bland, dry, and totally underwhelming for the price. Honestly, I would have been better off starving... and it would have been less painful! I deeply regret ordering from here. Everything was awful! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

12/03/2026: Takssim is a good man and he has a very fraternal spirit with everyone. I have known him since 2014 and he always makes good meals, especially the glass of Turkish tea.

14/04/2026: Sorry, but when something's good I say so, but this... mint water on the terrace, almost no syrup, nothing to dilute the tiny bit of syrup, all for €3.50, that's expensive for a glass of water... 🤷🏼‍♂️

05/04/2026: Breakfast at an attractive price, with several options available. We opted for the classic option, which included a hot drink, orange juice, a pastry, and bread with jam. The orange juice wasn't freshly squeezed, but the quality of the products was still quite good considering the price. For two people, it cost €19.80, which is excellent value for money. A great start to the day before exploring Strasbourg with a full stomach.
