06/05/2026: Review given in response to Aurélie Ehret's opinion: My partner and I were also at this restaurant on Valentine's Day, and personally, we found the menu to be more than good, a cut above the regular menu. Excellent value for money for this kind of evening. Note that we eat there very regularly outside of Valentine's Day and we highly recommend it. The daily special is more than adequate with a good selection (available on Saturdays, no less). The best part: they accept dogs.

15/03/2026: Average. Too ordinary in terms of cuisine. Unsurprising and therefore unoriginal.

14/07/2026: The waiter was too rushed and spoke rudely to me. Avoid this restaurant.

25/06/2026: Great breakfast, fast service. However, we had to pay twice instead of once to make sure we didn't leave without paying.

15/08/2026: For the past few years, as a passing customer, I have received a very pleasant service, a cuisine made with fresh produce, and the cordon bleu is a real treat.

11/08/2026: They don't speak English here. The waitress asked if we wanted 3 portions of fries for the children. I indicated I wanted 1 portion, given that they don't eat much. They brought 3 portions of fries with 2 chicken nuggets.. My husband had a burger for 15 euros and I had steak tartare for 18 euros. 3x apple juice, 1x Coke Zero and 1 beer. Total price 84 euros! When paying, there was no receipt, but a colleague was quickly asked what we had ordered and shown what the price was. Since I couldn't speak French, I left it at that. What a rip-off! The food was of average quality, nothing special.

23/08/2026: The best tarte flambée I've ever eaten, cooked over a wood fire according to Alsatian tradition, and a divine baeckoffe. I highly recommend it.

20/06/2026: I recommend Mario's; the food is excellent, the desserts too, and the staff are very friendly.

12/05/2026: Warm welcome, fast service, and a very clean establishment. I highly recommend it!

15/08/2026: Second visit to Pizzeria Le Romain and just as satisfied as before! 🍕😊 Delicious food, a friendly welcome, and consistently high quality. Special mention for the salad dressing, truly excellent… so good we even tried to get the recipe, but the owner is keeping her secret! 😄🥗 An address we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will gladly return! 👌

15/08/2026: We got takeout. The pizza was very good. I can't rate the restaurant for dining in, but it seemed very good. Very friendly service.

19/08/2026: A bakery and pastry shop like few others, the breads are exquisite, the dishes are made with fresh ingredients, and they are balanced and delicious. As for the pastries, the selection is varied and crafted with care and flair. The welcome at Le Fournil de Séraphin is always warm and friendly. A big thank you for your expertise, which we enjoy every day.

17/08/2026: The saleswoman was extremely unpleasant, never smiled, and jumped on you as soon as you entered! The reception and courtesy need improvement!

04/09/2026: The quality of the cheese boards has really gone down; the cheeses are industrial and tasteless.

28/08/2026: Avoid at all costs! The wine is terrible, the service is appalling, in short, don't go there.

12/08/2026: A lovely little inn with farm-fresh products. The ladies are very helpful and kind. =) There aren't many dishes on the menu, but what makes them so good is what's served 😋 and the homemade desserts are delicious too. I highly recommend it.

20/08/2026: I very rarely leave negative reviews, but I think this is really a bit much. Today I bought a sandwich, simply asking for a chicken sandwich. I didn't know exactly what was in it and I trusted what they were telling me. When I opened it, what a disappointment… There was very little filling, practically just bread, with a truly minimal amount of filling. I find this particularly disappointing for the price of a sandwich at a bakery. I obviously don't expect a sandwich to be overflowing, but the ratio between the amount of bread and the filling is frankly ridiculous. I usually never leave negative reviews, but I think that when you buy a sandwich, you have the right to expect a reasonable amount of filling. However, the service was very good.

21/06/2026: I stop by every morning to pick up my double espresso, and honestly, the welcome is always warm and friendly. Nothing better to start the day! The strawberry tarts are excellent. I highly recommend Francis Bakery! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

27/08/2026: Hello, I stopped by for lunch and wanted to share my experience. I had the pleasure of serving an extremely kind and helpful woman with glasses. I've rarely seen someone so dedicated to their work, and it was truly refreshing. She gave excellent advice, qualities that are becoming increasingly rare these days. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

21/08/2026: As a tourist, I've rarely experienced such friendly and helpful staff in France. That's why I love having lunch here whenever we're in Strasbourg. The value for money, especially with the set menus, is excellent, and for just €1 more, you can get a coffee and a macaron. But besides the pastries, the best thing is definitely the staff. One very outgoing and warm lady explains things to me in French so well and in such detail that I understand everything, even though I don't speak French. It's always a real pleasure. Other staff members are also very friendly and speak good English, so there are no problems for tourists.

Rude and unprofessional front desk team especially the morning shift 2 ladies Maria and Gada impolite missing all hospitality manners... Asked several times to speak to front desk manager....
