06/05/2026: Review given in response to Aurélie Ehret's opinion: My partner and I were also at this restaurant on Valentine's Day, and personally, we found the menu to be more than good, a cut above the regular menu. Excellent value for money for this kind of evening. Note that we eat there very regularly outside of Valentine's Day and we highly recommend it. The daily special is more than adequate with a good selection (available on Saturdays, no less). The best part: they accept dogs.

15/03/2026: Average. Too ordinary in terms of cuisine. Unsurprising and therefore unoriginal.

15/08/2026: Regular noise disturbances at night, disregard for neighbors, music and a microphone with a singer who sings off-key non-stop until after 11 am with absolutely no consideration! You're not alone; when the lure of profit leads to disregard for neighbors... The police have been called!

04/08/2026: There was a good amount of food on the plate and it was very good.

10/08/2026: A wonderful discovery, unpretentious and straightforward. The tarte flambée is excellent, and the main dishes are delicious with lovely side dishes.

04/08/2026: Our first time at this old-fashioned restaurant. The tarte flambée with fromage blanc was very good, with a crispy base and a generous topping, making it very appetizing. We also had a noisette of lamb which was excellent. We will be back.

22/07/2026: The waitresses were very nice, however the owner was really unpleasant and impatient with his staff. He would yell at them as they came back from the restroom. The food was okay, except for the calzone which was very soggy.

06/05/2026: We stayed two nights at this hotel, and it was perfect, no complaints whatsoever. The room was elegant, and the spa and restaurant were also very good.

01/05/2026: My review concerns a relaxation massage with Mélanie: The massage was simply magnificent. Every movement was fluid, enveloping, and deeply relaxing. I have rarely felt such a complete disconnection; it's a treatment that soothes both body and mind. I left feeling totally rejuvenated. The movements were precise, rhythmic, and incredibly gentle. It is without a doubt one of the best treatments I have ever received. A wonderful experience that I highly recommend.

24/08/2026: We were the only ones dining in, but the wait was very long. There were bits of scale on the shrimp, which hadn't been cleaned properly. The salads were expensive for the portion size, and there were also grains of sand in the lettuce leaves that crunched in your mouth. The staff seemed extremely stressed with two tables, and there was a billing error. Everyone seemed to be in training. In short, disappointing overall, but the location is excellent and the terrace is lovely. We didn't try the coffees or macarons.

22/08/2026: How can you have only one server for 50 covers on a packed August afternoon during the Hop Festival? We got seats and menus very quickly, but after a while, waiting 30 minutes to order is unacceptable. We ended up leaving because we still hadn't been able to order; it's a shame, the desserts looked delicious. This rating therefore reflects the quality of the service, not the quality of the food. We hope for a better experience next time.

30/07/2026: The essential meeting place for workers in the sector. You're served quickly and with a smile. The "little break" is anything but "little." Your lunch break is far from meager. The salads are delicious, healthy, and satisfying. I haven't tried the sandwiches yet 😊

21/05/2026: A very good place to stay, close to the Royal Palace cabaret and much more. The five couples in our party spent three pleasant nights in a clean and quiet environment, with helpful, available, and attentive staff, and good food. I recommend it.

14/05/2026: The welcome is as rough as the bath towels…. Tiny attic room / outdated bathroom with no ventilation / no surface to put anything on / Room number 20 has no window… nor any ventilation, but they don't tell you that! The only positive point: if you're deaf… the owner speaks so loudly that you'll hear her no matter what. The photos are misleading… establishment not recommended.

A bonus: parking, which is really appreciated! In short, a great place that I wholeheartedly recommend. Well done to the whole team, and see you very soon! 😊

27/08/2026: I ordered a cordon bleu, but when I saw it was half cooked, I realized it wasn't cooked enough. I pointed this out to the waiter, who went to check with the kitchen. I asked for compensation because a dish costing €27 that arrives undercooked is unacceptable from a restaurant professional. They told me I'd already eaten almost all of it and that it was impossible to offer any compensation. I insisted, and they offered me a simple espresso, which I reluctantly accepted. To make matters worse, I now have a bacterial infection known to come from undercooked chicken. So, after paying €27, reporting the problem, and receiving only a coffee as compensation, I'm now sick. I don't think this should happen in a restaurant. A professional is responsible for their kitchen, the quality of their food, and customer satisfaction. In my case, none of these aspects were met. My advice to you: if you want to try the cordon bleu, make sure you check that it's cooked before taking a single bite.

30/08/2026: The Peking duck is truly worthy of the original tasted in Beijing. The owners are very proactive, preferring efficient service to unnecessary formalities.

21/08/2026: It's undeniable, the food is good at this restaurant. But why, instead of simply telling customers who arrive a little late, "We're sorry, but we can't accommodate you as the kitchen is about to close," do they accept them, literally pressure them to hurry up and order, check every two or three minutes to see if the appetizer has been eaten before sending the next course, practically throwing dishes on the table to make customers understand that time is running out—all this without a single smile and with behavior bordering on rudeness, almost disrespectful? I find this a shame because it's not the first time I've eaten at Palais de Chine, and I've always appreciated the quality of the service and the food. But this welcome, worthy of a rural McDonald's, disappointed me so much that they've just lost a customer.
