18/05/2026: Very good restaurant for the daily special

18/05/2026: The hotel provided a very warm welcome, and the room was very clean and comfortable. Special mention goes to the housekeeper who kept the room well-maintained and even provided an extra towel. However, the breakfast was disappointing for the price and lacked vegan and halal options. I was also a little disappointed to find a cracked and stained bathtub/shower, rather than a walk-in shower as shown in the photos for the superior double room.

04/05/2026: Small, neat Italian restaurant. Had a delicious pizza (pizza with shrimp). Afterwards, dessert (Coupe Charlie Chaplin). The dessert was excellent. Cookie-flavored ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and (almond) nuts.

20/04/2026: The food was okay, but the ambiance for an Italian restaurant was rather sparse and uninviting. The waitress's unfriendly manner was abysmal; she seemed both annoyed and listless. Friendly service should be the bare minimum and has nothing to do with expertise, but judging by the comments here, it doesn't seem to be an isolated incident… Serves them right if they don't leave a tip…

26/02/2026: Disappointed and frustrated, as regular customers of this restaurant, we're used to waiting a long time for pizzas, even when ordering by phone. When I called, I asked if the pizzas are made once you've confirmed your arrival, given how long the wait is. On the phone, they assured me they weren't and that the pizzas would be ready at 6:50 PM. It's 7:13 PM and I'm still waiting. Why lie? It's unfortunate and stupid! The pizzas themselves are still very good!!!

05/04/2026: I ordered yesterday, it's shameful! I had the worst food poisoning of my life, something's definitely wrong. I spent the whole night and day vomiting!! I'm not looking for answers! Nor am I going to call you. The way you respond to other comments, you should be ashamed to offer food like that!

12/06/2026: The cuisine is simply remarkable. Alsatian specialties are elevated with admirable skill: bold flavors, impeccable quality ingredients, generous and perfectly executed dishes. Each bite tells a story, that of a culinary heritage carefully preserved and masterfully enhanced.

17/01/2026: A very good village restaurant with an Alsatian atmosphere and delicious home-style cooking. The service is excellent and the staff are friendly. Passing through the village once a month, we enjoy going there every time.

08/03/2026: Not good at all. Dry bread and a way-overcooked steak.

09/02/2026: The salads are nice, with a variety of fillings and a good portion size for around €10. They're sufficient as a main course with a piece of wholemeal bread. It's a shame the weekday dishes don't have more vegetables. For those looking for light and healthy meals, you won't find many choices among the daily specials. The pasta bowls are standard, without any real "extras" that would make us want to order them again. The service is very friendly and always available when needed.

12/07/2026: The service outside of the financing department (checkout) and the after-sales service is unacceptable. People are so bitter that they don't understand why you stay at work if you're unhappy. They treat you with disdain, as if you were in Versailles… someone needs to explain that to me. The only department where I was able to speak with pleasant and helpful people was the second-hand shop. I thank Steve and Maël, who still give the company a glimmer of hope… they gave me excellent information and took the time to help me.

11/07/2026: Excellent value for money, you can find everything easily. Having two places to eat and drink is a real plus.

10/05/2026: Hello, After having avoided this restaurant since 2024, I returned today, May 10, 2026. Excellent welcome, the restaurant was cleaned, the current head waiter was very professional. It's nice to see that this establishment has made the effort to respect its customers by serving a decent meal in good conditions. Thank you. See you soon. Hello - It's been getting worse and worse for the last 5 years. Today was the last straw: the restaurant hadn't been cleaned, and used napkins were lying under the tables. There was no welcome. The young woman present had an unpleasant, mocking attitude and no self-control. The young man said, "I'm just a waiter?" Flammekueche with practically raw onions. The foie gras was deconstructed, grainy, and a very small portion for €23.50—that's a first. It's highway robbery. The other restaurants in the group, notably the Biblenhoff and the Tankstell, respect their customers by serving them professionally with decent portions and a stable, friendly staff. At the Auberge du Ried, the staff changes very frequently; what's the problem? I sincerely hope that the customers who booked the holiday menus won't regret their choice. 12/05/2026: What can I say about the bakery server… Who doesn't say hello and keeps cleaning her floor for 5 minutes with a customer right in front of her, probably thinking it's up to the customer to make the first move… The customer is starting to think they're bothering her ;) then laughs as if we're being rude. Incidentally, it's no better than when she yells and gets angry in front of customers because her colleagues or supervisor are bad. Come on 🫠

12/06/2026: Visited 2 evenings during a trip, pleasant welcome, cozy place, top-notch service, very pleasant staff, a top-notch and very professional waiter, very good meal with a wide selection, it's enjoyable, thank you to them.

29/05/2026: Tonight, we were pleasantly surprised by the tenderness of the meat. The dishes were generous and delicious. The service by Miss L. was quick and very professional. She also made a good wine recommendation.

12/05/2026: The pizzas arrived after an hour. They weren't the right ones at all, and they were large instead of the set menu size. The pizzas were crushed in the box, stuck to the cardboard. In the end, very expensive for three pizzas that didn't live up to expectations. But these things happen.

07/05/2026: After placing an online order for a meal with colleagues, the order was quickly accepted with a delivery time slot. When no one arrived after the scheduled time, we tried to contact the restaurant by phone, but received no answer. We then discovered that the order had been cancelled on the online order tracking system without explanation.
