We were ecstatic throughout the meal about the creativity of the dishes (dinner menu in 7 courses), undoubtedly born from several hours of experimentation, to think of combining flavors and "improbable" products (for example , this unique pepper sorbet, or this sweetbread tempura). The service was particularly attentive, efficient, discreet and very smiling. All with an unbeatable quality/price ratio for this Michelin-starred restaurant. A very nice discovery

03/09/2024: Un peu avant midi nous sommes arrivés pour notre déjeuner réservé ce dimanche. Des clients attendent debout pour la vente à emporter. Ils se succéderont ainsi à l'entrée du restaurant pendant 45 minutes environ. Surprenant. Je pense que les clients 'table" devraient être privilégiés, et la VAE se terminer avant l'ouverture du restaurant. Accueil sympathique et agréable. Première impression, la salle est soit trop petite, soit trop de tables sont dressées, et on se sent un peu trop proche les uns des autres. La salle se remplit assez rapidement, ce qui est normal car quasiment tout le monde avait réservé. On nous propose un apéritif au bout d'un quart d'heure, ainsi que le menu dominical unique (carte possible si ça ne convient pas). Nous avons largement le temps de déguster notre apéritif puisque les premières tables sont servies vers 13H15 (y compris des tables arrivées après nous) et nous à 13H30. C'est beaucoup trop long. Les assiettes sont bien présentées et généreusement servies, et la qualité des produits est irréprochable. On apprécie le professionnalisme en cuisine. Le déjeuner se déroule enfin sans problème. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ce menu proposé ce jour là au prix de 44.00 €. Il y a également un choix de vins "au verre" à des prix intéressants. L'addition pour deux s'élève à 130.00 € avec les vins, apéritifs, cafés et eau minérale. C'est justifié pour les mets excellents avec des cuissons parfaites. Des travaux d'extension sont en cours. Il y a le parking gratuit de la mairie pour stationner à quelques minutes à pieds. Nous pensons sincèrement qu'il faudrait revoir l'organisation pour ne pas passer 3 heures pour un déjeuner à deux, qui plus est avec un menu unique, sans surprise pour la cuisine. Concernant la VAE, il faut aussi revoir les horaires. C'est dommage car tout ceci nuit à l'impression générale de ce restaurant.

12/12/2024: Hello the casserole is still good but downside on the gourmet coffee which was the best in Dieppe and we came for 😏, we were very disappointed the price increased and 2 ice creams out of 5 miniatures which was substantial, 2 mini tarts blah blah? While we only had ice cream before and no longer looked for mini desserts, it was really very disappointing. 😥🤔for 12 euros it's no longer worth it, the gourmet coffee, the popular dessert is no longer 😥.

07/12/2024: We had a great time at the La Barrière bistro, the dishes are excellent and the cooking is perfect. The price is a little high for a bistro, but you get what you pay for, it's very generous and really good! The staff is very nice. We will come back!

13/09/2024: The place is great, with super friendly service, but frankly, the food wasn't up to par. The squids were like rubber, the pollock tartare was bland, and the portions were much too small. Too bad, because the atmosphere was really nice!
