28/01/2026: Late reservation (1:45 pm), but despite that, a warm and friendly welcome. The dishes were served promptly. An extra star for the welcome extended to my grandson, who was delighted to be treated like an adult. A big thank you for this welcome, despite the demanding workload in the dining room.

25/01/2026: We had booked a table on the website for Saturday evening at 9:30 PM. Arriving at 9:15 PM, we clearly felt rushed. We had barely ordered our aperitifs when the waiter announced it would be 10 minutes before paying the bill for the next table, even though we had just started eating... a shame, because the food was good and of high quality.

16/02/2026: It had been a while since we'd dined at L'Escalumade, and we were surprised by a head chef who was extremely rude to his waitress, who, still learning the ropes, had just made a minor mistake. We, the customers, witnessed his disrespect. Beyond being incredibly unpleasant to the front-of-house staff, this gentleman risks driving customers away. We thank Micka and Célia, who took excellent care of us and ensured we had a pleasant experience. Keep up the good work!

03/02/2026: My wife and I arrived in Saint-Émilion on a rainy weekend, but this place brightened our day. Welcomed by Alizée and Imad (I hope I haven't misspelled their names), we were treated to a culinary journey throughout the meal, from the delicious amuse-bouches to the divine onion soup, the duck, the skate, and the delectable desserts that perfectly capped off this magical moment. Afterwards, we received excellent advice on finding a wine shop that wasn't a tourist trap, and we ended our stay on a very pleasant note. Don't hesitate for a moment; you won't regret the experience. We will be back!

20/03/2026: I just spent a week at the Campanile Hotel in Artigues for business. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive to every request, and very caring. The rooms were quiet, the beds comfortable, and the restaurant very pleasant, offering simple yet high-quality dishes. Breakfast was also quite good. In short, I had a very positive stay.
