08/08/2024: It's an unusual experience to try. The decoration and atmosphere are crazy. Not to mention the dishes which are not to be outdone, authentic and delicious. The service is also very good. I can't recommend it enough.

25/09/2024: A friend of mine said if I could get a reservation here while in bordeaux, I should, because it's sublime. He wasn't wrong. From start to finish, we thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Each dish's ingredients were explained to us, where they came from, why they were in the dish, and how it was prepared. Every dish was a star. The wine pairings were perfect. So now I'm passing it along. If you get the chance to go, you should. It's sublime.

30/08/2024: Very nice food and a relaxed atmosphere. It’s run by a couple that give very attentive service. As it’s just the two of them sometimes they are busy with other tables and you have to wait a little but that is ok. Extensive wine list focusing mostly on Italian wine but with French and more adventurous wines from as far as Georgia. Very nice food but be prepared for a very fish focused menu and some very cleaver dishes

27/08/2024: Good morning My name is Angelo, Italian since a young age, so I am used to good food, a very nice discovery, the lasagna was exquisite however the quantity is as generous as the good weather in Ireland (not very spoiled) I still recommend it, very nice restaurant. Sincerely Angelo

25/09/2024: We were only in Bordeaux for 2 nights and ate here both nights, it was superb. After walking around for a long time looking for French cuisine at a reasonable price, we stumbled upon La Côte de Boeuf and had wonderful food with really friendly and cheerful servers who remembered us the second night we ate there. I would highly recommend the fish of the day with rice, it was absolutely phenomenal and the tastiest dish any of us have had so far in France. We also had a delicious cheese/meat board, the steak and beef tartare, all were great.

24/09/2024: We ate in this restaurant last night, we were not disappointed! The meal was very good and the staff were friendly and gave good advice. I highly recommend!

27/09/2024: Having been a regular at this restaurant for several years, we found a drop this year in the quality of the dishes. The fish soup had less taste, the same for the salmon with piquillo sauce which was bland with a flavorless accompaniment. The service, however, is impeccable.

23/09/2024: It's difficult to find a fault in this Cabaret recently taken over by Nicolas and Olivier; the dinner is excellent, the choice of wines has been enriched with very attractive prices, the new Revue "Divine Ivresse" is surprising, original with revisited classics but also unique aerobatics numbers, and always a very warm welcome from Claire and of course “Coco” which instills a soul in this Cabaret like no other. 29/09/2024: The terrace, which is also covered, is special in that it is located on the promenade pier. And therefore crossing between the 1st and 2nd row of tables by pedestrians, and even cyclists. These have all dismounted, phew! Let's talk about the view. In the foreground, the oyster beds and the oyster farmers (who work, you can see, even at lunchtime). In the background, the basin, Le Pyla and its famous dune. Suffice it to say, a very nice situation. Menu or card. The grilled octopus and gravlax salmon has the proportions of a starter, nothing more. Otherwise it's fine, no complaints there. Very nice sole dish, prepared in front of me at the suggestion of the waitress. Furthermore talkative and very friendly. The entire staff is young and has an enthusiasm that is a pleasure to see. Half a bottle of Pessac-Léognan, appreciable. Quality restaurant. Cape Town Rates!

21/07/2024: Superb place but no service, a lot of waiting because 3 people to accommodate a Saturday evening, the tables outside are dirty… for 200 euros for 4 adults and 2 children to eat pâté in a homemade box and vacuum-packed sausage and a bottle wine, 3 cocktails…. And 3 scoops of ice cream How to say !?!? It's expensive to pay for a picnic I came, I saw, I won't come again

23/09/2024: Le repas est toujours recherché, dommage que le saumon en entrée ait été trop salé et la sauce trop citronnée. Le chorizo était aussi trop cuit dans le méli melo en plat. À part cela tout était bien et nous reviendrons.

30/08/2024: The food was rather good with a much less copious starter (foie gras) compared to other years. The dancing stopped much too early at 11:15 a.m. (it was also later previously) even though there were a lot of people people dancing. It would be better not to have music during the meal but more music for dancing later. It was sold as a disco party!!
