23/09/2024: Warm welcome from the host. A real feeling of arriving at friends' house. The open kitchen, where the hostess excels in preparing dishes that delight our taste buds, is a plus. Nothing is hidden and that's good. This professional couple is a very efficient and very pleasant pair. This restaurant fully deserves to be listed in the BIB of the Michelin guide. The prices are very reasonable considering the delicacies on the menu. Reservations are recommended. This restaurant is worth a detour because its food is excellent.

22/09/2024: We loved it, we came on Saturday the 22nd in the evening, we had a great time, a new place, magnificent, clean, very, very pretty, it really appealed to us, we will come back, thank you again

20/08/2024: As good on the plate as it is beautiful. This evening our taste buds woke up to this mixture of flavors. Very hearty. And great in terms of quality and price. Go there with your eyes closed. Superb decor. We recommend!!

03/01/2025: Very disappointed with the menu offered (little choice) and the quality (well-cooked but cold duck breast, common desserts without wow). Third and last time for us, 171eur for 2 courses 2 desserts and wine to eat something common in the end, very far from certain restaurants in the area in my opinion in terms of value for money.. Too bad the setting is friendly, the servers pleasant even if certain traditions are lost. This will please a lot of people thanks to the frame but I think there are better and cheaper

07/09/2024: In terms of cooking, we find that it is much less good than before. The wok beef was overcooked and way too many onions. The service is always attentive. Pleasant outdoor terrace. Nice interior decor.

20/09/2024: A must-see in Cap Ferret, with reservation recommended. Quality dishes, generous portions, but fairly high prices (around €100 for a glass of wine / a starter and a main course for two). Pleasant and fast service despite a slight wait. Delicious cuisine and warm welcome: a superb address to discover!

20/09/2024: very disappointing, the kitchen is ok but nothing more. we had the ceviche as a starter which was quite good, however the plancha knives were full of sand... we reported it and offered to make it again but to have new sand knives what's the point... It would be better to suggest something else instead, but let’s move on. the service was extremely long despite the fact that we were rushed to take the order on arrival, 30 minutes of waiting for the dish which was not terrible once the starter was cleared, we had to ask again for the dessert menu because we had been waiting for 20 minutes, we also saw the difference in treatment with the nearby tables who were taking bottles of wine... despite the sand and the wait, not even 1 coffee offered even though we had desserts and digestives. In short, too expensive for the cuisine and the service, we wanted to treat ourselves and we are very disappointed.

C est notre 2ème experience à l Absolu : très bonne cuisine, accueil et service parfait, de bons vins abordables qu'on a énormément appréciés, une adresse que je conserve précieusement pour y revenir (on vient dans la région occasionnellement). Félicitations et continuez comme ça ! Merci Valérie et la nouvelle serveuse.

19/10/2024: 17 euro voorgerecht een buffet, hoofd ,kaas dessert, koffie, wijn en water. Niet te geloven en het belangrijkste : echt lekker Ongelooflijk dat dit nog bestaat !!!!

11/10/2024: Excellent rapport qualité prix pour ce restaurant routier, 16€ pour buffet d'entrées, plat, fromage, dessert et vin 🤑 Les entrées sont variées avec même des huîtres (qu'il faut ouvrir soi-même) charcuteries, salades etc 👍 Divers plats du jour proposés, mais la viande de bœuf n'est pas terrible...😩 Le choix des fromages est limité mais l'offre des desserts est à la hauteur 🤗 Vin compris 🍷 Service sympathique et efficace 👏 Bref, très correct pour le prix 😉

18/09/2024: Au milieu des cabanes du port ostreicole d Andernos, ce restaurant de poissons est un vrai plaisir. Nous y avons déjeuné 2 fois dans la semaine et nous sommes régalés avec sole, daurade royale et mule Félicitations à la cuisinière et merci à la serveuse pour sa gentillesse et ses explications.

They served me at 1:30 p.m. when they were almost closing, I enjoyed myself...a real country meal just like I like with shallots on the piece of beef and REAL FRIES and to start with a very good soup!! ! 28/08/2024: Wow, what a delightful evening! Walking from our apartment through what initially seemed like deserted streets we entered into a lively vibrant square filled with people having a great time. Our service was wonderful as was the food. Every aspect of the food was a revelation in style and it was impeccably prepared. The wine was of course fabulous. We ended up having great conversation with the family on the next table. Genuinely fantastic and memorable, thank you.

23/08/2024: I wondered why the streets were empty, then we turned the corner and found everyone in the square by the Halle des Chartrons. Felt very much to be locals rather than tourists which was great. The food was delicious, different and beautifully presented, the service efficient and friendly.
