21/02/2026: You would have to travel a very, very long way to find food of a higher quality, more beautifully presented and more of a treat for your taste buds than you will find at Le Saillans. We have visited several times and the offering is never anything short of superb. In fact, we have gites locally and when guests come to stay we tell them that there are two things which they must do when staying with us: i - visit St. Emilion and ii - eat at Le Saillans. So far none of our guests has come back other than raving about the restaurant - if you're in the area, you MUST visit!

14/03/2026: Sat 14/03/26 lunchtime 2 people €64 2 beef cheeks in cider sauce 1 mille-feuille with red berries 1 fig clafoutis 1 bottle of Abatille 1/4 bottle of Médoc Not very busy at lunchtime. It wasn't warm, but the beef cheeks were very comforting, tender, and flavorful. Nice dessert. Friendly welcome and service. We've been before and we'll be back.

16/02/2026: First time at this restaurant and we weren't disappointed. The chef is imaginative and blends flavors brilliantly. The tastes were all there, which is exactly what you want. We opted for the €73 menu, or the six-course menu for €53, accompanied by a glass of champagne and two glasses of wine. The service was quick and well-paced, thanks to a very pleasant head waitress who knew every ingredient in every dish perfectly. The icing on the cake was the location under the arches of a former cellar, or perhaps stables? A must-try at least once.

09/02/2026: Remarkable for its flavors and surprising discoveries. You must allow yourself to be guided by Madame's kindness and enthusiasm to happily discover Monsieur's enormous work! What originality, what research, and what sometimes surprising flavors! Go without hesitation; you will go from one discovery to the next. It's daring, in the best sense of the word; it's sometimes a little surprising, even complicated to navigate with them, but what a pleasure at the end of this suspended moment! Thank you so much for the discovery of nettle (I hope I'm not scaring anyone...), for the shortbread, for the sublimely cooked scallops, for the combination of cauliflower and yuzu, for the subtlety of the financier, but also for the smiles and the radiant laughter. A wonderful wedding anniversary. See you very soon.

18/03/2026: Satisfied with the product, received in 3 days, free and fast delivery. They even included a free leash; my 8-month-old dog was delighted. I received a message and a call from GLS, the delivery driver was very friendly, no problems at all.

04/03/2026: A lovely discovery! This restaurant is close to home. The ambiance and decor are superb. The service is good, a tiny bit slow, but that allows you to fully enjoy the food. The cuisine is excellent. We had the salmon rolls with a cream cheese sauce, which were very good, and the accompanying salad was well-seasoned. Then the sea bream with spinach risotto and mixed vegetables was excellent and satisfying, and for dessert, the lime and speculoos cheesecake was a real treat. Well done! I can't wait to come back in the summer to explore the garden. Thank you!

02/03/2026: AMAZING service - especially Thomas - very observant and still leaving enough private space for us to enjoy ourselves. The wines are - as expected due to the location - are exceptional! If you haven’t done so, try the Bordeaux Blanc from Lynch Bages - blows any Sancerre or Chablis away!
