17/02/2026: What we disliked was the cold and unpleasant welcome. We were shown to our table with a wave of the hand. We were seated in a corner where there was a lot of foot traffic: the waiters were constantly going back and forth to fetch cutlery from a cabinet right behind us. There was no eye contact, no smile when we ordered. We were quickly rushed through the bill. Thankfully, the waiters who brought the food were friendly and pleasant. The food was average but acceptable.

01/03/2026: We are regular customers, and today we experienced service unlike anything we've ever encountered in any other restaurant. Once seated, we waited nearly 35 minutes before anyone came to see us, just for an aperitif (!!). We had to wait even longer for our main courses. Between the appetizers (good, but not exceptional, with inconsistent cooking—some gnocchi were mushy, others almost raw, and the eggs were either overcooked or had completely raw whites), the main courses (cooked incorrectly and served cold), and the desserts (rather mediocre and cloyingly buttery), we spent a total of two and a half hours in the restaurant. The waiter, who I think was really doing his best, never came to explain the delay, nor to apologize or even try to soften the blow of having to wait 40 minutes between the appetizers and the main courses... We felt completely invisible. Perhaps the waiter was embarrassed by the wait, but is that a reason to ignore your table without explaining why it was taking so long? Once we got to the till, they didn't even ask if everything was alright, probably because it was obvious the service was an absolute disaster. All the tables around us looked like they'd been dragged through the mud, probably disgusted at having wasted their day at this establishment. An afternoon spent waiting at a table, with apologies practically dragged out of the person at the till, who told us it was Sunday and that it was normal for it to take a while. Normal for the meal to last 2.5 hours?! I'm in the business myself, and I would never leave my customers waiting without informing them, without giving them any time to breathe! The fact that it was a Sunday is no excuse for offering such disastrous service. Not even a gesture of goodwill to compensate for the monumental waste of time this lunch was.

12/03/2026: A mixed experience: the meat was very good, but the desserts and appetizers were nothing special. The waiter was very friendly, but the atmosphere inside left much to be desired: poor lighting, tables crammed together, and a cold feel with the door open.

10/03/2026: Gorgeous little bar and restaurant. We came here before dinner for wine and beer. Excellent service. We had drinks which came with complimentary croutons which were amazing. Will be back before we leave Bordeaux.

07/04/2026: Ordering three Ultra Boxes was a huge disappointment. Everything was thrown into the box; there was absolutely no love for the business. I went there for the first time with my two children, and it will be the last time in my life I set foot in that place. When I got home, I opened my box, very disappointed, and threw it in the trash. It's a disgrace to the people who work there. If the colonel saw what KFC serves, he'd be turning in his grave: rubbery fries, chicken that looks like it's been cooked for hours, like latex—it's not even appetizing. I threw it away; I didn't even give it to my dog. We opened the burger, and it was a complete disaster. The hygiene was appalling. The entrance door was filthy, the screens were covered in smears. When you run a business, you have an image to maintain, and this place is no exception. Avoid it! Go to HFC a little further down the road; you won't be disappointed. A very bad experience; I won't be repeating it.

05/04/2026: Hello, does anyone manage this restaurant? Dirty and smoky. Burgers and fries were dry and cold! They were clearly prepared well in advance. The toilets were in a deplorable state and broken. The self-service kiosks were covered in fingerprints from all the customers that day. Many items were out of stock, and there were no Ultrabox containers.

11/03/2026: Family meal for our little girl Kelly's birthday. We appreciated the very cozy setting and relaxed atmosphere, which sometimes encouraged us to talk a little too loudly, leading to some awkwardness at the end of the evening. The wide selection of dishes, served quickly, allowed everyone to find something they liked. In conclusion: a lively place where you feel comfortable.

02/04/2026: Excellent value for money, the staff are very attentive and the service is quick. It's quite warm inside, but that's to be expected with the kitchen right next door.

30/03/2026: So, I'm a huge fan and I've always recommended it, but unfortunately, after my order on Sunday night, I got severe food poisoning and couldn't get a refund from Uber Eats, plus I had to take sick leave for gastroenteritis—not ideal. I hope things get sorted out. Otherwise, it's obviously delicious.

04/03/2026: We came to eat on the terrace this Sunday. The meats were really good and very reasonably priced. Despite the crowd, the servers remained very friendly and attentive. The sunny setting made this a very pleasant family outing, and we will gladly return! 🌹
