21/09/2026: Fresh and refined cuisine is served at Le Parlement des Graves, simple yet sophisticated. The prices are reasonable, the restaurant is charming, but above all, the service is outstanding: the way the two women manage to serve the nearly full restaurant – quickly, courteously, and competently – is simply in a class of its own. Therefore: Highly recommended!

18/09/2026: A complicated experience… The welcome, the food, and the setting were appealing, BUT for us, it was a bad experience… Seated at a small table (it was a reservation), we ordered sea bass and seared tuna. 49 euros, why not? Halfway through our meals, our table and plates were absolutely drenched. I chose to laugh it off (because some customers would have reacted very badly) and then mentioned out loud that it was hot so as not to embarrass the staff, knowing the terrace was full. I was completely soaked, our puppy got a little surprise shower, and my partner got a bit wet, but most importantly, my white shorts were completely stained because the sauce splattered everywhere. Our dishes were immediately replaced, which is understandable, but things can happen. But once we got to the till, there was no gesture of goodwill except for a comment we found inappropriate: "At least you got one and a half dishes." A SHAME!!! I manage a restaurant with 178 covers at a time and would never allow myself to do such a thing to my customers! Firstly, before opening, we check the parasols COMPLETELY (especially after a rainy night), and if something like this happens, we apologize and offer a gesture of goodwill immediately! Paying €49 for two courses and having to buy new clothes is extremely disappointing. The manager's reaction was strange; she just wanted to collect the profit margin without any consideration for the customer in this type of situation? 14/09/2026: Restaurant very well located, very good food with excellent service.

09/09/2026: I often walked past, thinking I should try it one day, but the crowds always held me back. Now I understand why. Starting with gyozas, which unfortunately weren't to my taste (too much garlic), their ramen was incredibly comforting, as was their warm welcome. The broth is flavorful without being overpowering. Everything is perfectly balanced, right down to the portion size, which I found just right. The fact that the food is prepared right in front of you creates a lively and convivial atmosphere rarely found in French restaurants. I'm so glad I discovered this place and I highly recommend it.

08/09/2026: Japan is still a long way off! I ordered a tonkatsu donburi, which I unfortunately didn't enjoy: the rice was tasteless, or more precisely, it had a flavor that barely reminded me of rice, there was far too much raw cabbage (is that in the recipe?), and overall it was quite different from what I expected from this Japanese dish. Well, I can see that I'm clearly going against the grain of the many enthusiastic reviews of this restaurant, and I'm willing to chalk my disappointment up to slightly too high culinary standards. After all, it's not easy to replicate Japanese excellence; I wasn't expecting the chef to have trained in Tokyo under a cherry blossom tree. But the most disturbing thing was the service, which, frankly, was anything but Japanese. "We're in France," you might say, and I readily agree, but that doesn't preclude friendliness or a minimum of attention to the customer. However, I was the first customer, and some people need a warm-up. The order was therefore taken abruptly, almost hastily. Even more disconcerting were the interminable verbal exchanges between the cooks, perfectly audible a meter away from the other diners, in a register one would rather not have to accompany a meal. Adapting to "French-style" service seems to have taken hold more readily than the Japanese art of hospitality and, in my case, of cooking. Yes, I know: we're not in Japan. But when I walk through the door of a "Japanese" restaurant, at least allow me a few illusions.

10/09/2026: A beautiful dining room with a lovely terrace. Excellent cuisine and impeccable service. A very warm welcome and a very friendly chef who doesn't hesitate to chat with his customers when he has the time.

13/09/2026: We chose this restaurant based on positive reviews. Once we ordered, we selected appetizers accompanied by periwinkles. These turned out to be tasteless. No salt, no pepper, nothing. For the starters: oysters and stuffed shellfish, which we began to eat, without the bread, the bottle of sparkling water, or the white wine we had ordered, despite asking twice. Everything arrived after we had finished our plates and very reluctantly! The sauce from the shellfish was so overpowering that we wondered what we were eating. Next up... fish with aioli sauce. The cooking was perfect, but we were searching for the sauce... Again, we had to flag down a member of staff. Sure enough, it was an oversight, yet another one. We were brought two paper ramekins of sauce with a snicker and a tasteless joke (much like the shellfish)... Given how the meal had gone, we didn't order dessert or coffee. The bill was outrageous (more so than the periwinkles!!) €108 for two people and absolutely terrible service.

27/09/2026: Spending the evening in Bordeaux, we wanted to have dinner at a well-located restaurant. With Gemini's help, we found "L'Autre Petit Bois." We were so glad we did! We had a wonderful evening: we were upstairs and the setting is incredible, a blend of poetry and rich, personal decor overlooking the Place du Parlement. You either love it or you don't: we loved it. As for the food, we ordered open-faced sandwiches and a croque monsieur: very good and very generous portions. Excellent value for money. Impeccable service. It was fantastic!

27/09/2026: We were eating inside the restaurant when a rat appeared. It was disgusting. But the worst part is that we told the waiters and they ignored us completely, they didn't seem to care at all. Absolutely disgusting.

06/09/2026: This tiny café is a great find! They serve a Taiwanese specialty called "Wheel Cake," which is similar to a filled waffle pastry. I ordered the Bubble Tea flavor and was pleasantly surprised! As for the fruit tea, you can tell it's homemade. The green grass jelly is a nice change from aloe vera jelly. I highly recommend it! The only downside is that there's very little seating (only 3 tables).
