14/09/2024: Excellent evening, whether it was the welcome, the wine list and the food. The dishes are exquisite, I highly recommend!

10/09/2024: After waiting 40 minutes seated on a barely clean table, a waiter asks us if our order has been taken. No, it's not... so he asks us what we want without even offering us the card. He doesn't ask us if we want a drink or anything... 15 to 20 minutes later another waiter asks us if our order has been taken. Yes, she is. He checks with his colleague who had obviously forgotten us. We taste a very well prepared dish: prawns bisque and pasta. That's excellent, that excuses the delay. We ask them for a glass of wine. Everything is OK. And suddenly I receive a violent blow on the head and hear a loud noise: a molding “glued” to the slate on the wall behind me has just fallen heavily on my head, then spilling my glass of wine. The customers around me are a little shocked, as are the passers-by. They ask me if I'm hurt. A waiter will come a few minutes later, collect the piece and ask me if it's okay, nothing more. Not a commercial gesture will be offered to us and no apology will be presented to me... this attitude shocks me and is not commercial in my opinion. Regarding the toilets, it is so dark that you don't know where you are going. We wait our turn in a room not in “construction site/works” but in total disorder and not maintained. If it is under construction, it might be a good idea to indicate it... And I would like to point out that we did not go and sit at a table on our own as you say. We went to the bar to see if it was possible to eat. You set us up.

25/09/2024: Le restaurant Osteria Da Luigi offre une ambiance familiale et accueillante avec une décoration élégante. Le service était impeccable : le personnel était attentif et sympathique. On est venu en famille pour passer un moment tous ensemble, on était très content du moment passer et surtout le personnel très agréable et la bonne humeur de Jérôme et l’attention qui porte à ses clients. En entrée, nous avons pris la Burrata qui était excellente. En plat, j'ai savouré une délicieuse escalope milanaise accompagné des pommes de terre très bien cuite. Les portions étaient généreuses et bien présentées. Le rapport qualité-prix était raisonnable. En résumé, une soirée très agréable. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour sa cuisine qui vient tout droit d’Italie et son ambiance conviviale.

12/09/2024: Un resto de taille assez modeste -- il est conseillé de réserver -- qui offre un bel échantillon des véritables saveurs de l'Italie. La carte est limitée à quelques entrées à partager et des plats de pâtes (plus quelques desserts typiques, dont un généreux tiramisu, bien biscuité).

09/06/2024: Very friendly place, there are 13 of us and the boss received us very well, being perfectly attentive to our satisfaction. The dishes are delicious, whether meat or prawns. Special mention for the desserts and Irish coffee!

13/09/2024: We had come to this restaurant several years ago and wanted to repeat our experience. Very professional welcome and service. The setting is very pleasant with a nice view. Small disappointment with the squid which was undercooked and with a bland sauce. In our opinion, the dish needs to be reviewed. Damage. Nevertheless, we had a pleasant time and would happily recommend this establishment.

24/09/2024: MARVELOUS!!!! Brazilian cuisine with clear French influences, all delicious. Latin warmth with French elegance and discretion. We had a great time!! We ordered 2 main dishes, one with chicken and the entrecote, both delicious. The meat arrives with the side dish and the salad and a thousand other delicacies. We ordered pancakes with prawns as an appetizer and water and piña colada to drink. There was also ice cream and other sweets but we were really full. I will really happily return, a new place of my heart. Gentlemen of Carioca, many kisses from your Italian friends!!❤️❤️❤️

14/09/2024: The place does the job even if some prices are not suitable for students. Short card but generally effective. The desserts are great. Well, on the other hand, we're going to have to stop a little with the boards that we see everywhere and which are almost zero degree of creativity. Friendly staff.

16/08/2024: Set back from the Rue Foch, this bar serves quality local artisinal drinks and food in a relaxed friendly ambience. Unique aspect is probably the oysters you can order with drinks. Recommend the beers.

21/09/2024: Je viens ici depuis des années, c’est toujours une valeur sûre. Toujours très bon, copieux, la salle est jolie, le service impeccable… on s’y sent comme à la maison, et pour un prix très raisonnable.

07/09/2024: Petit restaurant dont la façade ne paie pas de mine, tellement discrète qu'on a du mal à la repérer en passant en voiture. La carte est bien fournie, avec des plats typiquement vietnamiens que l'on trouve rarement dans la région et qui demandent un peu plus de travail que les très courants boeuf/porc/crevettes sautés. Nous étions neuf, et pourtant la qualité des plats n'en a pas pâti : tous les plats étaient bien assaisonnés, savoureux, nous nous en léchions les babines. Et particulièrement moi, car ayant perdu l'odorat et le goût il y a 4 mois (sans doute un Covid passé inaperçu), j'ai été surprise de trouver les plats goûteux, preuve que je retrouverai sans doute mes sens bientôt. Le seul petit reproche que nous avions formulé est le manque de "verdure", car au Viet Nam les plats sont le plus souvent servis avec beaucoup de légumes ou plutôt des herbes. Mais le restaurateur nous a expliqué que les européens n'apprécient pas trop ce vert, en particulier la coriandre, et c'est pourquoi sa femme qui est aux fourneaux n'en met qu'avec parcimonie. Les desserts étaient simples mais bien présentés, et l'on sentait que ce n'étaient pas des desserts industriels mais faits maison (pour les beignets). Les sorbets sont délicieux, à base de vrais fruits (j'y ai trouvé des petits morceaux d'enveloppe de cassis et de framboise). ... Surtout ne pas rater l'occasion d'y aller !

18/08/2024: To flee!! The waiter was rude, offering no drinks and sighed when asked to adjust the arrival time of a dish (so that it was served at the same time as the menu). Regarding hygiene, it was even worse: the bread baskets were reused from one table to another. I even saw the waitress, after putting dirty plates in the kitchen, top off the baskets of bread with her bare hands before bringing them to another table. An unacceptable situation. We decided not to eat there.

04/09/2024: I loved it! The pizzas are excellent, thin crust. But above all the slightly old-fashioned setting and the warm atmosphere, which reminded me of the pizzerias of my childhood in the 80s. It was great. Friendly and very fast service. Real pros!
