06/09/2024: Un très bon restaurant sur Pugnac. Une cuisine généreuse et copieuse. Cadre agréable, toutefois le service en soirée est assez long si il y a du monde.

22/08/2024: Hello, again disappointed with an experience in a pizzeria restaurant. In this world where pouring out our hatred on the networks has become our favorite time of the day, I unfortunately find nothing to criticize!! The waitress, alone, didn't make us wait more than a minute, she said hello and smiled on top of that!! What World do we live in?? Our order was taken relatively quickly (there were people + takeaways to take care of) then arrived quickly. And what's more, it was good and plentiful!! The bouquet!! I even had to add a glass of red to all that because the decor is so tempting!! We don't care about the customer, we must always be tempted and pay and pay... And what's more, the waitress, as nice as can be, knew her wines and knew how to offer me some! Honestly, I was on the verge of saying "Honey, it smells like a trap! Take the kids, let's GET AWAY! B****, we don't have the kids!! Okay, we'll stay but open your eyes!!" So haters and nitpickers, flee... This place is not for you... You won't be able to add 1 star to your collection! Come on... If I look a little... There's no service on the terrace and in this beautiful region... Well It's a shame that the place, outside, lacks a little authenticity. Fortunately, the decor which is nice makes up for all this brilliantly and we quickly forget the exterior.. Great experience. The waitress deserves a raise! And the cook too! The boss can congratulate himself. They won their bet at Lesca'L!

20/08/2024: I recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Brasserie 1902, and I can only warmly recommend it! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by staff of exemplary kindness and professionalism, from the waiter to the cook. The atmosphere is very pleasant, with careful decoration which creates a warm and friendly atmosphere. As for the cuisine, it is simply delicious! Each dish is prepared with care, and the flavors are there. We really feel that the chefs put their whole heart into their creations. In summary, Brasserie 1902 is a place where you feel good, where you eat well and where you are treated with attention. I highly recommend this address to anyone who wants to have a good time in good company. You will not be disappointed!

24/01/2026: What a disappointment! Lots of positive reviews on Google, but once we arrived, it was a completely different story. We ordered a children's menu. The nuggets (probably frozen, but definitely poor quality) were still cold and, most importantly, undercooked. We asked for them to be cooked again. They were barely warmed up, but still lukewarm, if not cold. The starter, a poached egg with cream of mushroom sauce, was very good! For the burger, we were asked how we wanted it cooked. We asked for it rare, but it arrived well-done… on a supermarket-quality, industrial burger bun. At this price, you can get much better burgers with real bread. The salmon risotto steak wasn't cooked inside, in my opinion. It was still pink and slimy. The fish knife had been placed entirely in the sauce on the plate… The waitresses were constantly going back and forth between the kitchen and the dining room without stopping, heading to another room hidden behind a curtain, which often left the dining room without a waitress. The music was quite loud and more suited to a lively bar than a country restaurant. When paying the bill, we expressed our dissatisfaction to the waitress, who simply said she would take note of it. No compensation was offered. We're not usually ones to complain when things aren't to our liking. But this was the last straw. Especially when you're spending over €80…

28/05/2025: The pizzas are truly delicious: the crust is thin and the toppings are perfectly balanced (in my opinion); in the kitchen, they love their pizzas well-made, as if they were going to eat them themselves. A new pizza every month for a new experience! The same goes for the beers (for drinkers/lovers). Always a pleasure when I come - whether to eat in or take out!

21/05/2025: I've been eating their pizzas for years, and they are without a doubt the best pizzas in Merignac.

03/03/2025: The waiter was very nice and the chef did not hesitate to adjust a dish to suit my tastes. We also left with a full stomach, almost having difficulty finishing the last plates.

18/02/2025: Very good restaurant, refined cuisine, impeccable service and excellent value for money. We came twice in the evening for the 5-course menu, with food and wine pairing. We had a blast! We also came at lunchtime and it was perfect. They adapted the dishes for one of our guests who is lactose intolerant. We recommend this address!

02/12/2025: Good evening, I placed an order last night and made the mistake of selecting "takeout" instead of "delivery." No worries, I owned up to my mistake and went to the restaurant. I warned what seemed to be the "manager" three times not to place the order twice or be charged twice. (I had, of course, also called beforehand.) He confirmed that I would. Today I realize my card is blocked because of a double payment for the same amount from the same company. Ah yes, the wonders of secure cards. Except that with my card blocked, I can't use it. I called the restaurant around 6:10 PM, thinking, "Don't push your luck, give them a break." I was on the phone for 45 minutes. I went there in person, but the restaurant was closed. A young man told me they would open at 7:30 PM. Excuse me for bringing up my modest age of 35 with 16 years of experience in the restaurant industry, but no franchise would ever open at 7:30 PM. I understand that the manager probably wanted to extend his little nap. Ten or twenty minutes, sure, that happens to everyone. But an hour! And to have the nerve to tell me to my face, "We're not open," "I'm not the manager," without any tact, it was bound to end with no diplomacy because I was simply fed up. Not only was I fed up with waiting and being hungry, but I was also treated like an idiot. Isn't that normal? So this so-called manager, who isn't really a manager, tells me we're closed. From that single sentence, I understood the lack of seriousness, the delay, and the lack of professionalism. I'm still waiting for a refund for my order. Bank transfer, cash delivery, it doesn't matter. I've given them several chances. Between forgetting my order because no delivery driver was available... The wings that were replaced with something else without being asked, or the forgotten bottle of cherry Coke—I accepted everything, but this is unacceptable. As a long-time loyal customer, I wish you good luck nonetheless. This industry isn't easy, but remember that loyal customers are important, both for the business and for morale. And this is actually the first time I've had a run-in with an employee there. I'm disappointed. A simple apology would have calmed my anger. Too bad. I won't let it go! Sincerely, Mr. Jimenez. 08/09/2024: Nous avons découvert ce restaurant grâce à "Thefork" et nous n'avons pas été déçues. Les entrées, plats et menus sont très bons, il y a du choix sans être trop variés. C'est copieux, fait sur place... C'est de la bonne nourriture traditionnelle comme on l'aime ! Le service aussi est agréable et rapide !
