02/07/2026: Arriving without a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and had no trouble getting a table. However, booking is highly recommended as this restaurant is incredibly popular, and rightly so! The setting is lovely, we had a table in the shade, the service was impeccable without being overbearing, and the food was of exceptional quality! Kudos to the kitchen team; you can feel their passion for creating dishes that are as delicious as they are beautiful! Everything is a success, and the prices are very reasonable! Go without hesitation (but make a reservation!).

26/07/2026: We wound up going here twice. Loved the burger with goat cheese and grilled onions. Molly's house beer half and half with Guinness was also a favorite.

Let yourself be charmed by this authentic restaurant in the heart of Bordeaux. And don't forget its lovely terrace. I highly recommend it.

Very good value for money. A weekday lunch costs €18 for a starter, main course, and dessert; there's no à la carte menu, only a varied set menu.

07/07/2026: Friendly atmosphere. Air-conditioned, which is a real plus these days. The charcuterie and cheese board was high-quality and delicious. The platter speaks for itself! Very quiet in the early evening, but gets a little less so as it fills up...

27/01/2026: My son went to this establishment to have lunch with his friends during his midday break. His school is quite far away, so he hurried to get there. Once there, they violently refused him the kids' menu, calling him a liar and physically abusing him. It's a disgrace! Avoid at all costs!!

As for the meal, everything was excellent, with ample portions, beautifully presented dishes, and above all, the meat was high quality and very tender. The price reflects the quality of the service. 16/07/2026: It was inedible. Look at my other reviews, I NEVER leave negative reviews, but this time, I couldn't finish my plate even though: I hadn't eaten for 24 hours, I'd been drinking so I was extremely hungry, and I usually eat anything and everything—food is food, you can eat anything. But not here. First of all, they took my payment before serving me, which I don't mind, and it saves me from having to queue to pay, but restaurants don't usually do that, so now I understand why. I ordered fish and chips, I paid €17 for all the ingredients to be processed. Again, food is food, so who cares? But the fish and chips sauce had clearly gone bad; it was yellow and extremely acidic. It hadn't been in the fridge for days. The fish was bad; it didn't taste like fish, only like the batter was fried (and the batter itself didn't taste like batter, just like fried food). The inside was WHITE, like a sheet of A4 paper that's been UV-treated—I'm sure it would shine brightly in a nightclub. The fries, well, they were frozen and just overcooked, but edible. The lettuce leaves were okay too, since they were lettuce leaves. But then there was the dressing, which was probably from a tube, and it was incredibly acidic. I know it's supposed to be acidic, but even my tongue was questioning it. So there you have it. I was very sad because I was very hungry, and it was the first time I'd ever been afraid of a sauce.

17/05/2026: An authentic establishment, where the food is excellent and plentiful, in the heart of the Capucins market, with a very friendly welcome and service. The fish and chips is superb, and the gourmet coffee is truly indulgent. A must-try for those looking for a warm and inviting place.

09/07/2026: We were driving back to Bordeaux after a weekend on the estuary, in unbearable heat, passing through a string of villages where, sadly, all the restaurants seemed to have closed for good (what a shame to lose these establishments!). Along the way, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted this place (I wasn't driving). We went in somewhat hesitantly, and were immediately greeted by the staff's smiles. The menu looked quite tempting, as did the wine selection. What a surprise! Everything was delicious, in a very warm atmosphere! THANK YOU!

04/07/2026: Good restaurant with good value for money. We had the €16.90 set menu (starter, main course, dessert), and it was perfectly reasonable for the price. The food was good, the service was quick, and the waiter was pleasant and smiling. We had lunch on the terrace. There were a few flies, which was a little annoying, but it didn't spoil the meal. Overall, a good place for a simple and satisfying lunch.

You can feel the family atmosphere, which makes the place all the more pleasant for a lunch break. I often deal with Julie, who is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a coffee, to buy cigarettes, or to enjoy a delicious lunch!
