09/07/2026: We were driving back to Bordeaux after a weekend on the estuary, in unbearable heat, passing through a string of villages where, sadly, all the restaurants seemed to have closed for good (what a shame to lose these establishments!). Along the way, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted this place (I wasn't driving). We went in somewhat hesitantly, and were immediately greeted by the staff's smiles. The menu looked quite tempting, as did the wine selection. What a surprise! Everything was delicious, in a very warm atmosphere! THANK YOU!

04/07/2026: Good restaurant with good value for money. We had the €16.90 set menu (starter, main course, dessert), and it was perfectly reasonable for the price. The food was good, the service was quick, and the waiter was pleasant and smiling. We had lunch on the terrace. There were a few flies, which was a little annoying, but it didn't spoil the meal. Overall, a good place for a simple and satisfying lunch.

07/07/2026: Friendly atmosphere. Air-conditioned, which is a real plus these days. The charcuterie and cheese board was high-quality and delicious. The platter speaks for itself! Very quiet in the early evening, but gets a little less so as it fills up...

30/04/2026: A great place! Very affordable prices, perfect for a lunch break. Starters are €5.50, main courses €15.50, and desserts €6. Excellent value for money and a very welcoming and friendly staff. I'll be back!

You can feel the family atmosphere, which makes the place all the more pleasant for a lunch break. I often deal with Julie, who is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a coffee, to buy cigarettes, or to enjoy a delicious lunch!

As for the meal, everything was excellent, with ample portions, beautifully presented dishes, and above all, the meat was high quality and very tender. The price reflects the quality of the service. 03/07/2026: This is a great place to sit and relax in a beautiful spot. We didn't have any major meals here, just drinks and a light lunch, and a light breakfast. The salted-caramel crepe was great, the croque monsieur was fine. The service was very informal and friendly.

20/07/2026: Lunch for two, Saturday, July 18th! Excellent service! The staff was very attentive! The waitresses were very friendly and took careful note of our requests (vegetable penne with LOTS of vegetables 😉), and the pavlova without caramel sauce. Everything was perfect! Don't change a thing!

09/07/2026: The restaurant is beautiful, truly. Which is why I'm so disappointed. We sat inside, ordered the Cevice, veal tartare and duck for mains. The duck was too chewy, cuts were thick and unenjoyable, jus was basic. For the price I was shocked at the quality and would rate this restaurant below average. The cevice was really delicious. What really made me want to write this review was the atmosphere. It was hotter inside the restaurant than it was outside, the AC was set to 29. I'm not kidding. This was in the middle of summer so it was uncomfortable, in addition to that we were surrounded by flies. I'm not kidding - it was ridiculous and made me feel uneasy about the cleanliness of the res.

25/06/2026: I was truly inspired by the warm atmosphere of Restaurant LouLou in Bordeaux! The welcoming and helpful staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The value for money is absolutely perfect.

We always eat there wonderfully; the portions are just right, balanced, and the dishes tell a real story. It's refined and intelligent cuisine. The service is gentle and warm. Everything is there for an extraordinary evening. Since we both work in the restaurant industry and love Michelin-starred restaurants, Lume remains undeniably one of our favorites! The wine list is precise, extensive, and reflects the soul of this restaurant and its owners. We let Alice guide us and are never disappointed! His food and wine pairings are also perfectly balanced! As for the tasting menu, it's definitely worth the trip! It reflects a genuine love for quality ingredients, for quality dishes, and for doing things well… and pays tribute to the Italian and regional producers he works with. If you think you like Italian cuisine, Riccardo's cooking will make you appreciate it even more! It's a true discovery of his native region. From the amuse-bouches to the dessert, including the savory courses, everything is delicious and authentic. We will definitely be back!
