10/06/2026: Hello everyone, I came with my wife for the first time and it was delicious! I highly recommend it; the value for money is excellent, we didn't pay very much for the meal and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

09/07/2026: We were driving back to Bordeaux after a weekend on the estuary, in unbearable heat, passing through a string of villages where, sadly, all the restaurants seemed to have closed for good (what a shame to lose these establishments!). Along the way, out of the corner of my eye, I spotted this place (I wasn't driving). We went in somewhat hesitantly, and were immediately greeted by the staff's smiles. The menu looked quite tempting, as did the wine selection. What a surprise! Everything was delicious, in a very warm atmosphere! THANK YOU!

04/07/2026: Good restaurant with good value for money. We had the €16.90 set menu (starter, main course, dessert), and it was perfectly reasonable for the price. The food was good, the service was quick, and the waiter was pleasant and smiling. We had lunch on the terrace. There were a few flies, which was a little annoying, but it didn't spoil the meal. Overall, a good place for a simple and satisfying lunch.

11/05/2026: We were greeted by the owner (who also served) with music, as he was playing guitar at a table and was very friendly. We were given our choice of table. We opted for the tasting menu, and the owner suggested dishes after asking us about our preferences. The meal was excellent from start to finish! Let yourself be guided, and you won't be disappointed. Special mention goes to the soup offered at the beginning of the meal. I usually skip it, but I'm so glad I accepted it because it was the best soup I've ever had in a restaurant; it was perfectly seasoned, bursting with flavor...a real treat!

10/06/2026: A truly wonderful place. The food and wine pairing menu is an absolute must. Choose your dishes from the menu and the wines selected by the chef! Succulent aromas, subtle pairings. A delightful discovery with a Côtes de Provence white followed by a red – pure bliss! Not forgetting, of course, the wine from this beautiful Médoc region. No frills! Everything on the plate is just right, a true delight for the taste buds... Unbeatable value for money. All the staff are fantastic, and the chef is superb! So rare these days! The setting is also very welcoming, with a terrace/veranda, or indoor dining rooms for the winter. The herbs come straight from the garden... Everything is designed to ensure you have a wonderful time. We will definitely be back. A must-try!

08/06/2026: Disappointing, even scandalous. A €64 menu offering tuna with fries, Pyrenees pork with mashed potatoes—unprepared dishes worthy of a school cafeteria. And let's not even mention the desserts; the wine was overpriced, but who are they kidding? The chef, off duty that day, was replaced by the head waiter. The bill came to €160 and change. We've had much better experiences before, but this time Mother's Day was ruined.

12/06/2026: I'm lucky enough to be a customer at Barathym. I'm always warmly welcomed with a smile and genuine kindness. You can feel the family atmosphere, which makes the place all the more pleasant for a lunch break. I often deal with Julie, who is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place for a coffee, to buy cigarettes, or to enjoy a delicious lunch!

04/06/2026: A real gem! I come here for lunch very regularly and I'm never disappointed. The welcome is always warm, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The dishes are excellent, prepared with quality ingredients, generous portions, and always delicious.

31/05/2026: A fantastic find at Pizza Saturne in Pessac! I ordered a Norwegian pizza and it was absolutely delicious. The pizza was generous and flavorful. I especially loved the crust, which was very thin, light, and homemade—a welcome change from some places where it's often too thick. The service was excellent: warm, friendly, and very professional. You can tell that customer satisfaction is a priority. The prices are also very reasonable. I even took advantage of a great deal: two 30cm pizzas for €19 on a Saturday, which is quite rare these days. I highly recommend this place for the quality of the pizzas, the service, and the value for money. I'll definitely be back! 🍕😊

19/05/2026: The setting is spectacular and the design is superb (Jean Nouvel), the food is of very good quality, and the price is quite reasonable. However, I had made a tentative reservation for 13 people, but I confirmed 24 hours in advance by email and phone that there would only be 12 of us. I had to insist heavily to avoid being charged for the missing person. They even offered to bring the dish to the table so we could share it! This was so impolite, and it's the first time I've encountered this problem. It often happens that a guest (even for business lunches) cancels at the last minute, whereas in our case, we took the trouble to let them know! I was "offered" the menu—they didn't "offer" a tip for this reason.
