14/06/2026: A quaint hidden gem off the busy main road and down a small street is where you would find this little gem. The atmosphere was great the ambiance was just what you could expect from a French restaurant. The food was delightful and staff was friendly and inviting. They have 3 different prefix menu options which give you great options and a special board too. Our meal was so fresh and rewarding not what I was expecting to get but thoroughly enjoyable. We highly recommend you trying and eating here if you can. Chef came out at end of meal and introduced himself and was genuinely inviting and interested in your opinion of food.

06/06/2026: An unexpected dessert that delighted our eyes: asparagus, strawberry, and rhubarb soup with white chocolate. The chef's creativity deserves high praise, as does the charm of the place, the quality and simplicity of the service, and the excellent, reasonably priced wine list.

28/05/2026: Warm welcome, smiling staff. I ordered the chicken noodle dish. But the chicken was tough, crunchy, and greasy. A shame.

20/05/2026: It's very good, but the service is deplorable. As a regular customer, I won't be going back... I waited 10 minutes for my order to be taken while the staff wandered around, chatted, and then a group of girls jumped on me... what a shame. Second visit on May 20, 2026: 15-minute wait at the counter. The staff didn't come to take my order, even the guys in the kitchen were apologetic. Two servers were chatting with a woman, and the last one was just wandering around... what's going on? Two visits, never served. Do you have to come with a pretty girl to get served now?

19/05/2026: The atmosphere was great, but the tables were a bit close together, making it quite crowded. The Mapo Donburi was a bit salty; I ordered it with some alcohol, otherwise it was too salty on its own, and there was too much MSG. The Curry Pork Chop Rice was delicious—highly recommended!

20/05/2026: One of the best experiences, we have had of a wholesome pokebowl. Whenever we come to Besançon, it's the place where we usually have lunch. Not sponsored haha but we appreciate the quality of our experiences so far.

18/05/2026: There were only a few tables, so it was a peaceful meal, which was lovely. Bonus points for the setting if you're seated facing the park. Everything was good.

03/07/2026: I am very disappointed with my experience at this establishment. It was my first time at Sushi Shop and, unfortunately, my last. The welcome was cold and the quality of the food was disappointing. The tuna in the cooked tuna/avocado/mayo California rolls seemed to be of poor quality, poorly drained, and served in too small a portion; the mayonnaise was also missing. As for the tempura/spicy mayo California rolls, the tempura was undercooked and the spicy sauce was missing. I pointed out these shortcomings to the employee on duty. Although he offered to remake the order, my appetite had been ruined. For a total of €14.80 (12 California rolls and a coleslaw, without a drink), the value for money was very disappointing. I almost wished for a refund.

So thank you for all these amazing, exquisite, delicious, splendid, excellent, indescribable, superb dishes... whose taste left us speechless, our taste buds completely overwhelmed! A huge thank you again for your consideration, your attentiveness, and your kind touches, which made our birthday celebration unforgettable! In short, we'll have to come back 😊
