18/02/2024: Nous nous y sommes rendus en toute confiance avec les avis et les photos... et nous ne nous y sommes pas retrouvés... Le service est sympathique et agréable, le lieu pas désagréable, mais ce n'est pas notre recherche ou notre envie... Croquettes de crevettes de friterie, bonnes frites, mayonnaise à l'encre de seiche sans particularité... pour un prix qui n'est pas faible pour une friterie... En bref, nous avons testé mais n'avons pas envie d'y retourner mais cela conviendra sans aucun doute à d'autres personnes pour leur soirée au restaurant

20/06/2024: Quel déception, les frites sont dégueulasses et la friterie est juste à vomir ... Ça coule la graisse de partout et par endroit cela fait même une croûte séchée inacceptable de la part d'un soit disant professionnel.

19/08/2024: Le service est très bien mais la cuisine est une catastrophe. La milanaise est arrivée brûlée et encore une fois après un retour en cuisine.

02/07/2024: This place styles itself as a wine and cheese bar but also offers a good range of regional dishes for those wanting something more substantial to eat. The standard of cooking from the young kitchen team cannot be faulted. Furnishings are simple and the lady who superintends the bar does the serving. My Poulet du Nord (chicken and mushrooms in a cheese sauce) was superb - plenty of really tastey meat and mushrooms cooked to perfection, ideally matched by the local Maroilles cheese. The sweet potato frites which came with it were an inspiration. My husband's escalop was also perfectly cooked, but he was somewhat overwhelmed by the generous helping of noodles which came with it. There is a long and interesting wine list, with soemthing to suit every pocket.

21/04/2024: A good bakery which has evolved well since the takeover, by new managers, the staff is very friendly, the choice of breads and pastries is excellent! Thank you because there are few bakeries in Orchies

30/03/2024: In March 2024, me and my friend went to Orchies for a flea market, which unfortunately did not exist... We therefore fell back on this bakery which seemed very nice to us, attracted by the intoxicating smells.. . Since we didn't have lunch, we chose to have 2 rolls each. True FRENCH know-how. The bun wasn't bad but could be improved! The chocolate was poorly distributed and the puff pastry was too present. That said, and even if the price is a little high (1€10 per roll), they are very filling and kept us full. This goes wonderfully with coffee! Nothing to say about the welcome, it is pleasant and warm. The location is perfect: placed at the crossroads. On the other hand, the facade can be improved, a little lick of paint would not be amiss! 27/12/2023: The Flint is open between Christmas and New Year, every day, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on public holidays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.!!! Spread the word... Motivated traders are becoming rare! 👍🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
