15/04/2026: Glad I reserved a table at Les Sales during my stay at Strasbourg. Its loacted in a quiet neighborhood easily accessible by tram. The menu changes every few weeks and each item on it is exceedingly good. You can't end your meal without giving their tiramisu a try. Its their take on the tiramisu with salted caramel and its TRÈS BON. They also have an exceptional wine list.

22/03/2026: Both my wife and I ordered the steak with fries, but with different sauces. Both dishes were delicious. Then, to top it all off, we had the creme brûlée for dessert. Excellent as well! The service was also fantastic. We'll definitely be back before we leave town.

15/03/2026: Lunch for six people to celebrate a birthday. A very warm welcome, excellent service, very attentive staff, and a beautiful setting. The meat for our dishes—hanger steak, burgers, and cordon bleu—was cooked to perfection, and the portions were generous. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this lovely restaurant.

08/04/2026: This restaurant is ridiculously expensive for the portion size and quality! The waitress was stressing me out, constantly coming to my table to take the cork from my glass or bring back the dessert menu, and she cleared my plate before I'd even finished my main course! To make matters worse, they didn't serve me potatoes with my steak tartare, even though they were included in the menu! I've included a photo. Here's that tiny plate for 20 euros and change! And the tea was presented in a stained and poorly washed teapot, which was only a third full of boiling water! They're complete rip-offs! This restaurant is to be avoided at all costs.

23/03/2026: Nothing to complain about, or almost nothing… the toilet seat that slips out under your bottom and is too small for the toilet is a bit of a letdown, and the toilet paper roll being upside down isn't ideal. But I'm nitpicking… for me, it was a wonderful discovery! I recommend the non-alcoholic cocktail, which I suggested calling "Dandelion" because of its yellow color and bitter taste that reminded me of dandelion… I'd gladly go back just to find out what they ended up calling it 😁 and by the way, their dandelion salad is to die for! With the pan-fried duck foie gras 😋😋😋

The mini-museum, where you can also sit and eat, adds a truly original touch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and helpful. As for your rhubarb tart… it's simply exquisite and a delight for the taste buds!

02/03/2026: Honestly, the top rating is well deserved. A friend took me there, and the chef is really cool. He makes your sandwiches quickly, and the prices are great: €5.50 for half a baguette, generously filled, and the meat is good too. Instead of going to McDonald's and paying to still be hungry, go there for a good lunch that's not too expensive. Plus, it's halal! 👍
