08/07/2026: Delightful bistro in Bages. Owned by the Lynch-Bages vineyard family who rescued a dying village in 2003 and renovated it. The bistro offers good food, not cheap but nothing is cheap around here. Plenty of parking. Adjacent to the formidable and undeniably impressive Lynch-Bages wine factory.

06/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at **Café Lavinal in Pauillac**. We were in the area conducting several virtual tours for local châteaux and businesses. On a particularly hot day, our group of four decided to take a break and enjoy this beautiful spot. The location is truly magnificent, in the heart of an elegant and peaceful setting, typical of the Médoc. The building, the terrace, and the surrounding area create a very pleasant atmosphere, ideal for relaxing after exploring the region. Despite the intense heat, we were able to fully enjoy our time in a comfortable and welcoming environment. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. We received a very warm welcome and efficient service, which is always appreciated when visiting in a group. The drinks were refreshing, and the dishes were beautifully presented, featuring high-quality ingredients. Everything perfectly reflects the establishment's high standards, while maintaining a relaxed and accessible atmosphere. Café Lavinal is an excellent place for lunch, drinks, or simply a break while visiting Pauillac and the surrounding vineyards. The setting is certainly one of its main assets, but the quality of the welcome and service also greatly contributes to the experience. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly return on a future trip to the region. A wonderful discovery in an exceptional location that we wholeheartedly recommend.

04/08/2026: The sushi pieces are far too small: a typical sushi weighs around 30-35g, whereas these were only 21g. The difference is significant and gives the impression of poor value for money. As for the taste, it's nothing special. The ingredients are decent, but lack any particular flavor.

16/06/2026: A lovely brasserie. Simple and efficient. Quick service and outstanding food. The baby squid are excellent. The duck burger is generous and flavorful. The lemon tart is original and perfectly executed. This is a place that deserves to be known and appreciated. In an hour, without rushing, we enjoyed a starter, main course, dessert, and coffee. Reservations were made through Google Maps, which is really convenient.

19/06/2026: A true bistro where you can sip a white wine, a beer, or a pastis accompanied by a plate of carefully selected charcuterie or cheeses. And the owner! Charming, recognized by regulars young and old, who are often rewarded with a piece of watermelon or a slice of his chickens, which will happily devour your cheese rinds. A bar with authentic character, just the way we like them! Thank you for the warm welcome.

17/02/2026: I ordered Salmon Lover through Uber Eats on December 24th at 4 PM. The order was confirmed by Uber Eats and the Cauderan store. The delivery driver called to tell me the store was closed. I was charged by Uber Eats, but they refuse to refund me because I gave the delivery driver the code. I contacted the Cauderan Sushi Shop, who confirmed that they closed early on December 24th and were supposed to contact me on Monday, December 29th. And I'm still waiting… I'm going to have to call the premium-rate number for the third time. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied. I have never been refunded. Thank you. 04/08/2026: We arrived as a group of three, but all left 20 minutes later because no one took our order. Furthermore, the woman who seated us clearly seemed unhappy that we were there without a reservation, which I can understand if it creates unexpected work, but in that case, they might as well have just said "sorry, we're full" rather than seating customers and leaving them waiting 20 minutes while walking past them 15 times without taking their orders.
