21/07/2024: Superb place but no service, a lot of waiting because 3 people to accommodate a Saturday evening, the tables outside are dirty… for 200 euros for 4 adults and 2 children to eat pâté in a homemade box and vacuum-packed sausage and a bottle wine, 3 cocktails…. And 3 scoops of ice cream How to say !?!? It's expensive to pay for a picnic I came, I saw, I won't come again

21/08/2024: Very very satisfying experience. Warm welcome followed by impeccable service. The menu has many choices which is a very good point. The food was excellent, not to mention the very affordable prices for such good quality! I highly recommend this restaurant, a big thank you again to the waiters and the waitress for this very pleasant evening!!!

20/08/2024: I had a great time in this little restaurant, nestled in the heart of the old quarter. The prices are very affordable, with several options for less than 20 euros. I particularly appreciated the homemade fries, offered with each dish, which made the meal very filling. You can also ask for more fries as they are free. The welcome is warm, but service can be a little slow at peak times, as there is only one waitress. Despite this, I recommend this restaurant for its authentic atmosphere and tasty dishes.

These have all dismounted, phew! Let's talk about the view. In the foreground, the oyster beds and the oyster farmers (who work, you can see, even at lunchtime). In the background, the basin, Le Pyla and its famous dune. Suffice it to say, a very nice situation. Menu or card. The grilled octopus and gravlax salmon has the proportions of a starter, nothing more. Otherwise it's fine, no complaints there. Very nice sole dish, prepared in front of me at the suggestion of the waitress. Furthermore talkative and very friendly. The entire staff is young and has an enthusiasm that is a pleasure to see. Half a bottle of Pessac-Léognan, appreciable. Quality restaurant. Cape Town Rates!

17/12/2023: Travel back in time with this cozy lovely quaint restaurant, with a friendly atmosphere and welcome from bubbly professional staff. The fish and choose was delicious, so was rmthe chocolate fondant, a true gem in winter, that must be amazing in summer with a terrace at the back. Thank you and see you soon!

Un lieu qui vous fera revivre de bons souvenirs ou pour les plus jeunes vous les faire découvrir. Madame Colette et Monsieur Haddock vous accompagneront discrètement. 09/07/2025: I found a “lemon” beer that I like at The Blarney Stone pub in Bordeaux! Yes, I was drinking beer in Bordeaux! Haha The server was very nice and thoughtful in his suggestions. This pub is basically across the street from the old bell. So, wafter viewing the bell (and Victor Hugo’s falling car, half a block down the street) stop in here for a pint or two! There is both inside and outside seating.

21/06/2025: My historic pub. Central, friendly waiters, decent food. Interesting happy hour. Beers not given, but same price as elsewhere. Pleasant terrace in summer. And then you won't miss any rugby or even football matches. Giant screen but without sound which allows others to chat. I looooooooove

24/09/2024: Already put on TruckFly a while ago so I'm putting it back this evening, because loves... they waited for me and keep a place at 9:30 p.m. who does that these days. A big thank you to you, we are always well received, we eat really well and a great atmosphere, I'm not talking about the toilets which are also impeccable, everything is great. 15/09/2024: Great hostel! In an old house, the team at L’auberge de Lugos received us warmly. The cuisine is excellent, and the good value for money hotel allowed us to prolong the pleasure in a peaceful and timeless place.

02/09/2024: We were very well received (including by Sweety the cat). Note that the service is impeccable. Indeed some rooms are from another age. We came knowingly and were fully informed when booking. This remains very good value for money. I would like to point out that the bedding is excellent and that everything is rigorously maintained. To get some fresh air, or to eat There is a magnificent outdoor terrace under three century-old plane trees which alone could tell the story of the past of this place. The table is refined and prepared with local products, all in a warm and calm room. This place is calming and unique. I highly recommend.
