29/04/2026: Disappointed by the value for money Lunch today at La Brasserie Canaulaise. The place looks nice and inviting, but unfortunately, the service didn't live up to expectations. The dishes were very average for a brasserie, and the worst part was the side salad: completely limp, clearly not fresh, and frankly unappetizing. For the price, it's far from satisfactory. The value for money is simply not there. It's a shame, because the setting had potential.

01/02/2026: One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. I didn't eat for fear of getting sick. The freezer opened about ten times, and we waited 45 minutes to be served. The only man in the kitchen and front of house prepares online orders as if by some unrealistic prediction. I couldn't eat; the restaurant is filthy, and there's an unpleasant man hiding behind his cash register because he knows he's selling garbage. Run away...

23/03/2026: Since the renovation, the quality and variety of choices have greatly improved; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! However, it has strayed from Asian cuisine, both in terms of food and decor, as well as service... A shame.

14/04/2026: As a loyal customer of this establishment, I will no longer be returning due to the arrogance of the young woman who presents herself as the owner. Arriving early with a friend, we ordered an aperitif, and then nothing. The room filled up, and people were served. Seeing that no one came to take our order almost an hour after our arrival, I made the mistake of signaling. What had I done wrong? What followed was a barrage of reproaches and a blatant lack of respect, with her standing up to me like a yapping dog and openly mocking me behind my back. Miss, please grow up and learn some respect 😉

12/04/2026: A more responsive service and a friendlier staff would undoubtedly have earned a better rating. After simply directing us to "second room, table for 6 on the left," without even showing us the table, we waited half an hour before a server, engrossed in his tablet, took our order. As for the food, the overall quality was excellent: the expected standard was met. However, there is a need to improve the cooking times. A second server then brought our dishes, but we had to wait another ten minutes for bread, as it was still in the oven. Requesting extra fries and a new carafe of water proved to be a different ordeal altogether.

26/03/2026: As a big fan of specialty coffee, I was in Bordeaux last weekend and took the opportunity to check out this place, but it was a disappointing experience. On paper, it all looked promising: a very attractive menu with coffees and teas that seemed to be of high quality. You could tell there was real potential and an interesting selection. Unfortunately, several things spoiled the experience. First, the place itself gave a rather cluttered impression, especially with boxes visible at the back of the shop. For an establishment that offers drinks at relatively high prices (around €9 for 400 ml of tea), you expect a more refined setting. Second, and this is the most important point for me: the coffee served didn't meet the standards of specialty coffee. I ordered a double espresso, which should normally be around 36 ml, and I ended up with a much fuller cup, closer to a lungo. This gives the impression that the basics aren't being followed. Finally, the menu lacks essential information: no details on the aromas or profiles of the coffees offered. Yet, this is precisely what makes specialty coffee and the tasting experience so appealing. In short, this is a place that could be excellent given its selection, but as it stands, it doesn't live up to its promise.

14/03/2026: I absolutely do not recommend this cafe. We waited 1 hour and 10 minutes just for two coffees, without the slightest gesture of goodwill or apology from the servers, who seemed completely indifferent to our wait.

19/04/2026: We booked pitch 432 for our caravan for two nights, accompanied by our two Beauceron dogs. Superb spot, courteous and efficient staff, spotless communal areas. Various facilities and food options: very good. We'll be back!

17/04/2026: 4-star campsite, but where are the 4 stars...? - Cold showers every day during our 3-day stay. And at any time of day or night. Frankly, considering the price per night, a hot shower would be the bare minimum. - We heard there have been thefts at the campsite. Not exactly the most peaceful stay knowing that... - Limited sanitary facilities at the campsite, and they're not even spotless... at that price per night, it would be nice to not have filthy toilets! - In short, honestly, 1 star for the location, which is exceptional, but really, if you want to line the pockets of unpleasant people who have no sense of hospitality, go for it.

18/02/2026: Excellent food. I've been several times and have never been disappointed. And the little chats with the owner are always very pleasant.

22/04/2026: Very disappointed by the portion sizes, both for the salmon (half a fillet) and the duck breast (two ridiculously small slices). The waitresses and staff were friendly, however. By trying to cut corners on portion sizes, the owner risks losing customers. I won't be going back.

05/04/2026: At the first restaurant in the chain, they seated us without a reservation and then ignored us for over 20 minutes, without taking our order or bringing us drinks, instead serving customers who arrived after us first. At this second restaurant, less than 5 km from the first, however, the experience was the opposite: we ordered within 5 minutes, and our food was on the table within 15. The staff were young, polite, and attentive, the service was quick, and there was convenient private parking next to the restaurant. Excellent experience.

16/09/2025: Really not good, poor quality meat in very small quantities, pepper and onion in very large quantities and just reheated. The broth is tasteless with a choice of curry, paprika, chili or other to say that it is different. Dry noodles and no effort to enhance the flavor. Never again!

21/04/2026: I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat it. However, the cocktails are good, and the Moscow Mules are well-made. The atmosphere on the terrace is pleasant, and the service is quite efficient.

19/04/2026: So, I paid €4.50 for apricot juice in a glass bottle that arrived already opened, plus it had no label. It's outrageous to do that, and even worse, it was poorly done because there were still bits of glue from the old label. A real rip-off…

10/05/2026: I first came to this restaurant ten years ago! It was packed at lunchtime. The crumble was excellent. The food was excellent and the prices reasonable. The welcome is still there! Thank you. Everything changes... What a shame.
