07/12/2025: I came to eat at this restaurant on Thursday at lunchtime, it was great! The appetizer and dessert buffet was fantastic, as well as four main courses to choose from—a real treat! I highly recommend this restaurant.

The recommendations were excellent, accurate, and precise—everything you could expect from true professionals. As for the quality of the meal, it was flawless. I was 100% satisfied, hence this review. We will definitely be back.

22/03/2026: The meal was good but wasn't ready to be served. They had to reheat our Camembert, which hadn't melted, and the fries were cold. They tasted like they'd been reheated several times, and were mealy. It was a real shame. The same thing happened to our neighbor at the next table; they had to reheat his cold dish in the microwave almost as soon as it was served. Only three dishes were available out of about ten on the menu. The atmosphere wasn't pleasant, and there was an intimidating dog inside the restaurant. The dining room is very small, making it difficult to move between the tables and the kitchen. There were no more than ten of us in the restaurant at the time, and I think it could have been much better with some organization and a smile. It's a real shame because it's a beautiful place that makes you want to spend a lovely time there.

30/01/2026: The meat is still excellent, perfect for satisfying a big appetite. Not far from the water's edge, ideal for a nice, relaxing day out.

20/01/2026: Bad experience. The waitress spilled our coffee and, without much apology, came back with a "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts). We were convinced it was a gesture of goodwill... But on the bill, it was clearly listed as a "café gourmand," so it was more expensive... And on top of that, there were two extra dishes we hadn't ordered... If we hadn't checked, it would have been almost 30 euros more... The staff wasn't very friendly, which is a shame because the meal itself was good.

26/12/2025: I booked a room at this establishment for Christmas Eve to avoid driving. Room #2, on the first floor, cost €50. What a nightmare. I only spent 30 minutes there before having to leave and take a taxi home (at nighttime rates). The mattress and sheets were infested with bedbugs, they were moving everywhere, and I have bites all over my body, as confirmed by a medical report. The room was in a deplorable, unsanitary, and completely unacceptable state. I immediately contacted the establishment to report this situation. The only response I received was: "Thank you for letting us know." When I asked for a refund for the night I obviously didn't spend there, they replied: "It's too late, you've already paid." A total lack of professionalism and respect for the customer. This establishment should be avoided at all costs. For €50, it's likely to cost them much more than expected.

01/03/2026: The staff was unbearable. We entered the shop at 6:45 PM to order pizzas. The person behind the counter didn't even respond to our "good evening." And when we asked what time we could have our pizzas, they became aggressive. Being there off-season and just passing through, we were shocked and disappointed. Perhaps the pizzas were good, but the service was appalling!

05/03/2026: Connecting today at Bordeaux Saint Jean. We stopped at your Mac. A disaster: ordering at the kiosk. Very slow service. A drink was missing from our tray. Nuggets were barely lukewarm, as were the fries. Sparkling water in a 40cl cup was flat. All this for a high price. Unmotivated staff. Out of anger, I didn't clear the tray. Ladies and Gentlemen Managers, I await your response, if you truly respect your customers... And certainly not a canned reply like you give to recent negative reviews. 05/03/2026: Very disappointed. Of course, we weren't expecting miracles, but even the bare minimum wasn't there. They forgot to bring sparkling water. I complained. They brought water, but not sparkling. No paper napkins. Cold fries. The sandwich wasn't any better. You have a monopoly and high demand, so why bother satisfying the customer and the staff who work there? They were demotivated and therefore unfriendly.

05/03/2026: Pleasant dining room, nice terrace. It's Bistro Régent, so the menu is the same as everywhere else in the chain. The complimentary champagne on weekdays was a nice touch; all in all, a lovely meal with champagne for a very reasonable price. The service was friendly and efficient, no complaints.

18/01/2026: A warm welcome and friendly service. The double hamburger was excellent and generous, as was the panna cotta. Very good value for money.

30/10/2025: The place is very pretty, it's a shame the image is misleading. The welcome was terrible, as if we weren't welcome. The price is high for the quality of the galette. The meal was tasteless and soulless. Avoid at all costs.

25/01/2026: You're lucky I can't give zero stars. A truly dismal and shameful experience for a chain like Subway. The server that day completely ruined our visit. From the moment we walked in, he was rushed, pushy, and borderline aggressive. He didn't even give us time to choose our ingredients, constantly interrupting us with a haughty and contemptuous tone, as if we were a nuisance or needed to be "kicked out" as quickly as possible. There was a clear sense of profound disrespect and unprofessionalism. The result: sloppy, cold, poorly filled sandwiches, hastily made without any care. All this was accompanied by an icy silence when we left—not a word, not a glance, not even a simple "goodbye." This kind of attitude is unacceptable in a food establishment. And what about the state of the place? Dirty table, visibly unwashed fountain drink cups, neglected floor, disgusting soda fountains—the drinks no longer tasted right, evidence of poor maintenance or incorrect mixing. This speaks volumes about the staff's dedication and the complete lack of supervision in this restaurant. Frankly, it's a real lack of respect for the customers who pay for basic service and a decent experience. This server gives Subway a disastrous image: rude, rushed, disrespectful, and incompetent. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously, because this type of behavior deserves at least a serious reprimand—or even a reassessment of this employee's continued employment. An experience I wouldn't wish on anyone. A disgrace to the brand.

11/11/2025: Unbelievable! You say hello, no response. After 20 minutes, you ask the gentleman if he'll be much longer—very rude. He replies, "I'm working. If it's not convenient, go somewhere else." I tell him, "Sir, you don't have to open the door if you don't want to serve." He replies, "I'm not here to do nothing, sir. You need to be respectful to elderly people. I'm 70 years old. If you can't manage your temper and your orders, you should hire someone." Very rude.
