22/07/2026: Had to ask for the drinks from the menu. The food was good. Only one out of two toilets was working, dirty, and overcrowded.

10/07/2026: This is a must-visit place every time we go to Bordeaux. Very tasty food, at a good price. The staff are friendly. They recommended what our daughter could eat.

10/05/2026: A mixed experience! A bit of leftover, not-so-fresh bread from a neighboring table. Cooked arugula on the plate. The ribeye steak was of dubious quality, a real struggle to finish, accompanied by an overly salty peppercorn sauce. The best thing about it was the fries… FROZEN. The prawn risotto looked nice, but the prawns were clearly undercooked. The owner explained that he had recently changed meat suppliers and mentioned having previously worked for restaurants owned by chef Alain Ducasse. He also offered us a glass of wine, which was appreciated. Despite this, given the prices, we expected more consistent quality. Even the neighboring table asked for our opinion because they too were disappointed with the menus, especially the ribeye steak. It's a shame because the setting is pleasant and there's potential.

06/07/2026: I just got back from an exceptional lunch! Warm welcome, impeccable service, charming setting, and friendly atmosphere. Perfect value for money, the wait was short, and the place was spotless!

26/06/2026: I stayed for four nights. Aside from the fact that some guests aren't considerate enough to be quiet in the hallways, resulting in a lot of noise, the stay was pleasant. The bedding was good, a real plus during this week of 40°C heat. The manager explained to me that the air conditioning had been installed six months prior! So I was given a room that was also quite unpleasant, kept between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius. Perfect for resting.

04/03/2026: Fantastic place, I highly recommend it! The service is responsive and they gave us excellent advice, which we gladly followed because it was a great find! The food is delicious, the spring rolls are crispy, and the sticky rice is incredible! Go for it!!

30/06/2026: Everything is homemade with quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference. I love going there whenever I'm in Bordeaux to enjoy a scone and tea for breakfast. It's also ideal for an afternoon snack; the pastries are delicious.

23/05/2026: Excellent lemon tart (still a little warm, but that proves how fresh the pastries are) in which you can taste the true flavor of the ingredients carefully chosen by the pastry chef. Bonus: the terrace on a quiet street. The owner is a bit pushy about ordering more... but there's no obligation to do so.

16/07/2026: Nice local. We had the set lunch: salad, sausages and mash, and dessert. When the weather is good, the outside terrace looks great.

02/07/2026: Overall, the experience was decent. However, the wait time before my order was taken was quite long. The price-quality ratio seems a bit high for what's offered. I was also disappointed by some of the desserts and drinks: the clafoutis wasn't really what I expected, and the cappuccino was more like a latte sprinkled with cocoa than a proper cappuccino. Despite these points, the restaurant remains generally pleasant.

18/10/2025: Very disappointed with the restaurant since we wanted to eat. We were very disappointed with the staff who did not take care of us, I had asked for parmesan when they served me the pasta but I received it after my dish was FINISHED. In the photos of the restaurant they show us pizzas but there are not even any. When it came to paying the bill at the counter they preferred to chat with their friends they did not even speak to us to tell us the price! In short I will never go back and I do not recommend it and other people I talk to about it have noticed the same thing as me.

14/07/2026: Amazing hidden gem. Cheese forward menu (cheese cave is AWESOME!), but duck, salad, and other dishes are good as well. Wine selection is perfect for the menu and prices are reasonable. Staff is kind and thoughtful. Just try to be respectful with "all you can eat cheese"... don't take large slices and leave a lot behind

03/06/2026: Only go here if you like cheese! This is quite unusual and unlike any place ive visited. It is literally cheese for starter, mains and pudding. All other options are off. The owner is is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable on cheese and wine. There is a special climate controlled cell for the cheese which you can visit. I'm not sure I would want to go again the cheese was totally fantastic but I would like to mix it up with something that wasn't cheese.

20/07/2026: Nice setting, great 80s background music. Service could be better. As for the food... two calzones, too many onions, the bottom crust undercooked, and in one pizza, the egg was completely raw. I pointed this out, and the cook replied that that's how they serve the pizza. I asked for a carafe of cold water, and I'm still waiting. When it came time to pay, they asked if everything was alright. I said not really, then explained why, and they replied, "Well, it's not a problem since we put the pizza back in the oven, everything's fine..." It was a bit cheeky and flippant. Up until then, we had always been happy with the place, but we left disappointed 😞 and we live in La Réole. What a shame.

04/07/2026: À la carte menu on weekends Very welcoming waitress Tables under the trees were lovely in this heat, especially with the dogs around – very pleasant The salad starters were good but small in portion Good Bolognese pizza with a soft, not dry, crust Spaghetti Bolognese – nothing to complain about Two ice cream desserts. A 50cl carafe of rosé wine. All for two people: €55.90

07/07/2026: Tout a changé depuis 2 ans je ne reconnais plus le kebab de mon enfance, qui pourtant était si bon.. la viande a changée, les frittes aussi ont changées, elles sont molles et baignent d’huile.. la viande n’est plus aussi goûteuse.. c’est bien dommage, vous ferez mieux de revenir au vieilles habitudes qui était très bien et beaucoup plus qualitative..

13/07/2026: Excellent find! The pizzas are generous, topped with high-quality ingredients. The crust is perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff is welcoming and friendly, and the service is quick, even when it's busy. The prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. I highly recommend this place in Mérignac. I'll definitely be back!
