11/11/2024: The moral is that in the “Hospitality Business” sector, it is imperative to be welcoming and respectful towards everyone, and not just towards regular customers or acquaintances because you never know who you are dealing with… After having lunch in group in this establishment, as a customer, I returned on a Saturday evening to order a takeaway other than pizza. I was confronted with a deplorable welcome from the owner's daughter, in a restaurant that was practically empty that evening. His lack of business sense and kindness manifested itself in curt and sometimes insolent responses to simple questions. I was surprised to find that they didn't offer takeout, and when I asked if I could bring my own container, the response was particularly curt, whereas in many nearby pizzerias it is possible. to take away all the dishes and that the welcome is much warmer. Despite my hesitations about returning since this summer, when I was confronted with a humiliating and aggressive welcome from the owner, I still decided to share my experience on Google Maps. Additionally, I noticed that he seemed to encourage his friends and customers to immediately post positive reviews to outweigh the negative ones, which is against Google Maps policies. This manipulation is frowned upon by other restaurateurs, in particular because of the closing times at 9 p.m., a subject of ridicule among them. Finally, I find it unacceptable that customers already seated are refused the possibility of ordering a pizza one minute after 9 p.m., under the pretext that the kitchen is closed…. Unfortunately, his responses to comments leave something to be desired, with no professional apology to any of the objective but negative comments about his restaurant, nor any acknowledgment of the problems encountered. Read carefully the violent response to come which will confirm the mind of the owner...

15/12/2024: une belle adresse pour déguster une tres bonne pizza avec une garniture digne de ce nome sur une pate tres gouteuse et légère L accueil et le service sont aussi un plus tellement agreable de nos jours l addition est tres correcte sans etre assomé adresse donc à decouvrir merci

20/03/2026: A small, friendly, family atmosphere true to Italian tradition. The owner is very nice. La Gargantua is worthy of Rabelais, who would have given it the same rating :) It's a beach-ready version that suits me perfectly. The pasta is good, the ingredients are high quality, and the parsley sauce adds a delicious layer for a country bumpkin like me, who never leaves the village, lol. I'll be back often.

09/07/2026: The fact that I entered without buying anything clearly bothered the saleswoman. My sister went into the store thinking I was following her, then came back out to get me so she could go back in because she thought I was following her. The woman had the nerve to say to her, "You're going into a store twice!" I asked her what was so bothersome about that, given that she thought I was following her, so yes, we went back to look at the shop. My sister explained that she came in to see if they sold shoes, to which the woman replied, "Well, you should have just asked me." Even so, madam, if we want to enter a store without asking you anything and just look around, we can. I award you the gold medal for the least friendly shopkeeper. I hope you don't behave like that with all your customers, otherwise I understand why your store is empty. If in retail, the friendliness of the shopkeeper accounts for 99% of the work, you should know that by now.

20/06/2024: Halal pizza, so if you want ham, speck or schorizo, you'll have to go elsewhere. The boss is nice and the pizzas are good, inexpensive and above all well stocked. A veggie + a Cevenole ordered: it was impeccable. No credit card or check, you have to remember to take cash. No delivery or possibility of eating on site.

04/04/2024: Impossible to contact the pizzeria by phone (never answers), however, the pizzas are excellent and at a reasonable price. You have to go directly to order and pick up the pizzas there and it is complicated to park.

27/05/2024: 26 Mai 2024-12h00- - Nous nous sommes arrêtés par hasard dans un village étape, cherchant à nous restaurer, bien nous en a pris. En lisant à postériori les commentaires "négatifs" laissés sur cet établissement, je ne suis même pas étonné de la "non-compréhension" de mes concitoyens concernant le fonctionnement de cet endroit car les "gens" veulent tout, tout de suite, pas cher, un choix phénoménal et, le plus souvent pour ne pas dire toujours, je dois avouer que ces mêmes "gens" n'y connaissent absolument rien en gastronomie, ni en cuisine, ni en politesse d'ailleurs. On leur ferait manger des "galettes" suédoises garnies de concentré de tomates à la place d'une vrai pizza qu'ils n'y verraient pas la différence. Consternant. Bien, m'ayant maintenant attiré les foudres des "gens", il ne me reste plus qu'à féliciter et remercier ce couple de restaurateurs pour leur accueil (sans réservation préalable mais arrivé de très bonne heure et dans un jour calme), car étant un couple travaillant seul, ils ont opté non pas pour une usine à touristes à grand débit mais pour une certaine idée de qualité de services à table, sans se presser, sans stress et en prenant le temps "nécessaire" à la confection des plats en respectant les recettes traditionnelles originales, les temps de préparation, les temps de cuisson et en n'employant que des ingrédients importés d'origine, frais, choisis et savoureux. C'est un choix courageux, peut-être et sûrement beaucoup moins lucratif que de faire une cuisine "à peu-près passe partout" mais pour moi, épicurien et ayant été bercé dans la cuisine Italienne de renom depuis mon enfance, c'est une façon royale de traiter ses hôtes que de sublimer les plats originaux. Madame, Monsieur les restaurateurs, vous nous avez fait passer un très convivial moment en dégustant une cuisine délicieuse, soyez-en remerciés.

12/03/2024: The owners are charming, pleasant and helpful. The pizza menu is comprehensive and everything is cooked fresh in a wood-burning oven in the restaurant itself. The best deal for those not wanting to be over-faced is the 'demi'; a smaller pizza portion served with a leaf salad

04/05/2026: The atmosphere is appalling; people are smoking so-called CBD right in front of the tobacco shop, but it's all nonsense. Then they start fighting, leaving trash everywhere, including cans of strong beer. The police have had to intervene several times. It's disgraceful.

11/03/2026: It's just a shame they can't make deposits onto their Nickel card. They're always capped.
