22/12/2025: This is my favourite place for noodles in Lille. I sometimes drive 1h20m one way just to eat here. Afterwards I visit beautiful Lille and surroundings.

27/01/2026: Dish of the day at €13.80: steamed chicken fillet (tasteless) topped with gorgonzola sauce, served with pasta covered in parmesan (maybe) and a little parsley. In short, not very tasty, disappointing. Add to that a 33cl Karmelitt = total €20.30. I see some rather positive reviews, but some people must have the palates of Dobermans. This isn't a roadside diner, don't be fooled, it's more like a very expensive canteen. A kebab would have had more flavor. Sorry for this harsh opinion, but you can't take advantage.

12/12/2024: This is the address to know in Lille, if you like ice cream, artisanal ice creams with diverse and varied flavors, an exceptional taste, whether sorbets or ice creams with flavors of speculoos, chocolate, vanilla special mention for pistachio ice cream from Sicily (a delight), never been disappointed during my many visits. For less hot weather (long live the north) you can also find happiness with the magnificent waffles which are also fresh and made in front of you, you can add the topping to your hot. For me, a must-see in Lille whether in winter or summer... I highly recommend!

08/12/2024: Small place that makes delicious traditional waffles straight out of the waffle iron. The toppings are quite original and the price really affordable. For a real break there is a small room upstairs. I highly recommend.

11/01/2026: A really great place, the welcome is friendly and warm, and the food is good! Truly one of the best Welsh rarebit restaurants in the region! A must-visit!

10/01/2026: A great find! Delicious, homemade dishes from our region! The portions are generous. The atmosphere is lovely and the welcome was fantastic. I highly recommend it.

19/12/2024: So here I am shocked I ordered a crepe and a white chocolate strawberry waffle I received a crepe drowned in strawberry coulis with not very fresh strawberries, the same for the waffle but the worst in all that is the squares of chocolate whole white on the waffle and in the pancake, something never seen before 😱

30/11/2025: Hello, first and last time at this establishment. Avoid at all costs! No sharing platters for friends, and they offered us a pathetic salmon platter to share. Then we ordered the foie gras for €17, which was awful. The main courses were even worse, and to top it all off, the desserts: a chocolate mousse with no flavor whatsoever, and the crème brûlée with not even the tip of the egg behind the sorbet, supposedly Vandecastelle ice cream—impossible! I don't understand the previous reviews. I even wonder if it's the same establishment. If you look at the reviews in general, beware: a lot of positive reviews for the establishment, but these are reviews of the previous owners. It was only taken over seven years ago. Now they need to rethink their approach in order to continue. Otherwise, it's guaranteed to fail. Sincerely.

30/11/2025: Disappointing experience!!! The service was extremely pushy from the moment we arrived, pushing us for drinks and food before we even had time to take off our coats. The salmon platter was ridiculously small. The fries were barely cooked and the dessert was uninteresting. We will never return 👎 Avoid at all costs

16/11/2025: What a wonderful discovery! Nestled in the heart of the Mormal Forest lies this beautiful inn, boasting a lovely, tranquil atmosphere, well-spaced tables, a crackling fire, and a cozy fireplace. The homemade cuisine is delicious and served in generous portions. The specialties are clearly marked, and the menu changes weekly, ensuring there's always something new to discover. And the most exceptional aspect was the welcome. The owner greets you with a handshake, shows you to your table, and takes the time (along with his staff) to explain the menu and suggest side dishes. He doesn't interrupt your meal, allowing you to fully savor the delicious food. He checks in to see if everything is alright and if you need anything. Just as upon arrival, he takes the time to greet each guest individually upon departure. In short, if you're ever in the area, don't hesitate for a second! It's a superb human and culinary experience that you absolutely must try.

16/11/2025: Plan to fast beforehand. Very good, hearty food with excellent service. Just a little updating of the background music... I recommend it.

30/08/2025: Very disappointed I've known this place since the beginning Regular customer. Never been disappointed except tonight!!! And it will be our last visit! We ordered two kebab plates Forgot the samurai sauce, the napkins, but above all, there was a problem with our fries Which they had forgotten to give us at the beginning, what a disappointment when we got home We each had 12 fries in our pack!!! I called to let them know A young man answered, "We're sorry!" Well, not so much as us!!! The least they could have done would have been to do something.

28/08/2025: Honestly, I wouldn't go back! First time and totally disappointed with the food. I thought I was eating porridge. When you don't like cooking, you do other things!

12/12/2025: Never disappointed, we order very regularly, especially with the 1+1 offer and very reasonable prices.

04/11/2025: The pizzas are good but never ready on time, and when you politely point this out, they retort that you can wait anyway, so there's no point in ordering. They don't respect the order times, and it doesn't matter if you have constraints before or after your order; it's not their problem.

03/01/2026: Very quiet hotel, well located. Pleasant, attentive, and very friendly staff. Secure parking. Excellent bedding, superb breakfast. A place to remember.

06/02/2026: The lady who serves is not pleasant and you get the impression of bothering her, which is a shame because the pastries and bread are good, but a frosty welcome doesn't make you want to come back!

06/01/2026: I stopped by for a sandwich at lunchtime: the one I wanted was no longer available. The cashier immediately offered to make me another one, with a smile. Only a two-minute wait, and a very generous sandwich. Excellent service!

21/08/2025: We ate a breakfast there, this was only option but really enough. It was tasty. It was really hard on sunday to find a salty breakfast in Dunkerque. Most of the restourants are open everydat but kitchen is not open till 11h, 12h in most places.
