10/05/2026: I was very disappointed by the service in this shop. The products live up to their reputation, however, the saleswoman was regrettably cold (like she was from the North Pole), the complete opposite of the warm welcome you find everywhere else in Lille. It's a shame...

10/05/2026: Méert could genuinely be my favourite dessert place in the world. I still can’t forget the taste of their famous waffles, delicate and lightly crisp on the outside, yet soft and buttery in the centre, with a rich vanilla filling that melts beautifully with every bite. They somehow feel both elegant and comforting at the same time. I loved them so much that I even ordered delivery while living in London. That alone probably says everything.

05/05/2026: Despite three attempts, I couldn't get a so-called "Andalusian" waffle, and I ended up with curry in every single one, even the last waffle that was supposedly made to order. What a shame!

20/04/2026: A very warm welcome from an attentive and professional team. The quality of the food was excellent; everything was perfectly executed and delicious. The only slight drawback was the lack of a steak knife. That said, it's almost a minor detail given how incredibly tender the meat was. A great place that I highly recommend.

18/04/2026: We've been trying out the new owners since they reopened in early April, and we loved it! The team is very professional with a friendly atmosphere, but above all, the food is homemade. We'll be back! I highly recommend it!

29/04/2026: I came three times, not by choice but out of necessity. The service was extremely poor each time, with two men (the same ones) greeting us. No greeting, not even a glance. We felt like we were bothering them, as if we were eating for free. I'm really disappointed because this is the only Subway I won't be returning to.

16/04/2026: We were two friends and we had a wonderful time at your restaurant! Nothing to complain about! Everything was perfect! A very warm welcome, smiling staff with a touch of humor that we appreciated. We thoroughly enjoyed the carbonnade and the veal escalope with Maroilles cheese. Don't change a thing, and if we have the chance, we will gladly return.

19/03/2026: The staff were very pleasant and attentive, and the food was excellent. They used good quality ingredients. A big shout-out to Fred and Guillaume, the chefs, and the superb waitresses!

29/04/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! NO CONSIDERATION FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS, AND EXTREMELY UNPLEASANT!!!! I placed an order for delivery and was told the delivery time had passed. 15 minutes after the estimated delivery time, I called to check on the status of my delivery. The person who answered asked me to wait a moment. As a result, I waited 10 minutes, listening to the staff talking amongst themselves. I finally hung up and called back. I first spoke to someone, explained the problem, then there was silence, and then another person took the phone. I was therefore forced to repeat the problem and my contact information yet again... In the end, I received my delivery almost two hours after placing the order!!!

17/04/2026: Our order was over an hour late because apparently they were very busy, and to make matters worse, when we received it, the items weren't right and the pizza was practically empty… This isn't the first time this has happened! And to top it all off, the delivery tracking didn't reflect reality; I had to call the restaurant twice to find out what was happening with the order…

11/04/2026: A restaurant where you can dance. Good food served, with impeccable and friendly service. High-quality staff. One drawback: the dining room really needs a makeover!

28/09/2025: We started with Tataki de Thon. Tasted very good. Then Supreme de Volaille which was also perfect. We finished with Assiette de Fromages and Millefeuille aux Fraises. Really nice too. Everything was perfect. We´ll be back.
