28/04/2026: For my 18th birthday, we had a lovely time at the Hotel du Lac. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and professional, and the dessert served in our room was a nice touch. The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the view of the lake was superb. I highly recommend this hotel.

25/04/2026: I returned to the restaurant, enjoying a peaceful weekend. I savored a view of the lake from the shaded terrace. A natural atmosphere and attentive staff. I reiterate my 5-star rating. The madeleine cocktail was a delightful discovery. For my starter, I had plump, pearly scallops cooked to a perfect pearly sheen—simply superb, especially with the vermouth reduction. My main course was monkfish tail risotto with carrots and thyme. Dessert was a generous pistachio crème brûlée—a true delight. Never two without three!

19/05/2026: We always really enjoy eating at this restaurant; the food is very tasty, typically Portuguese, but this time, the food was cold, and we found the bathrooms dirty and with a broken toilet flush. Difficulties happen to everyone, so everything is understandable. We will definitely be back.

02/08/2026: The restaurant was noisy, we couldn't hear ourselves speak. The staff were pleasant, but the waitress should enunciate more clearly; we couldn't understand anything. As for the food, it was really mixed, but there are much better options in the Weppes area.

30/06/2026: Avoid at all costs. The cutlery was absolutely filthy and had to be replaced. The spritz wasn't really a spritz. The fish and chips were questionable. Those who give more than one star clearly didn't go to the same place I did. The owner at the reception is very friendly. I wish his cooking had been as good.

20/05/2026: The hotel was clean with friendly and welcoming staff. However, I was quite disappointed by the room in the basement, with corridors that felt more like a service area than a hotel. The bedding was also very uncomfortable, and I woke up with severe back pain. The soundproofing was also poor: you could hear a lot of foot traffic in the corridors, suitcases being moved, and doors slamming.

11/07/2026: Whether it's discovering David's ever-warm welcome, the restaurant's friendly atmosphere, or Marceau's homemade dishes, I have only one piece of advice: ‼️‼️ LET YOURSELF BE TEMPTED ‼️‼️ Come and discover Le Carré d'As, where I enjoy a delicious lunch several times a month. My personal favorite: the chef's steak with its sublime garlic and shallot flavors 😋🤩.

11/07/2026: A disappointing experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were the only ones not to receive the complimentary appetizer offered to everyone else. Then, when we ordered, we were served the sauces, but we were told aggressively that this wasn't the correct way to take them. The most disturbing part was that at the end, while I hadn't finished my meal, they removed the sauces right in front of me. This made the experience truly unpleasant. In short, the food was decent, but don't come here if you want to be treated pleasantly.
