29/03/2026: A charming little country restaurant with a menu focused on local products, such as beef kebabs cooked over an open fire. The meal was very good for the price. The only downside might be the wait while your food is being prepared; luckily, the rillettes served with toast made the wait more bearable. ;) Otherwise, I would recommend making a reservation. I'm not sure if the restaurant has tables available without one, and given the delicious food, that's understandable. ;)

19/04/2026: Unpleasant, he made a mistake with my sauce and told me I was lying. The sandwich was almost empty, it wasn't what it used to be.

06/03/2026: Hotel located very close to the A2 motorway exit, easily accessible and with secure parking. Our room was on the second floor (no elevator), rather small, clean, and had a comfortable double bed. We found the hotel very quiet; the rooms seemed well soundproofed. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, served buffet-style (although the dining room could use a little updating).

14/02/2026: Having eaten in many Chinese restaurants, both in France and abroad, I can say that this one is clearly among the best in France. The dishes are excellent and, above all, authentic: they aren't "adapted" to the French palate; the flavors are bold, balanced, and truly present. You can feel the respect for traditional recipes. For example, the pho is served with all the authentic accompaniments (bean sprouts, lemon, chili paste, chilies, etc.), which is quite rare and worth mentioning. The portions are generous; you leave feeling more than satisfied, and the value for money is simply unbeatable considering the quality offered. A restaurant I wholeheartedly recommend to lovers of authentic Asian cuisine!

A warm welcome, a friendly and unpretentious atmosphere—I had a wonderful time with the other customers and the manager. All this, of course, while enjoying a good glass of wine without restraint, as the ideal location allows easy access on foot to all the city's attractions. 08/11/2025: Excellent coffee, just like before! The restaurant is perfect for lunch. There's always a daily special, with unbeatable value for money. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service efficient, making it an ideal spot for a quick and tasty lunch break.

18/03/2026: We arrived at this small café on the Bergues town square on a Sunday afternoon. There were two tables outside, but we decided to sit inside. At the bar, the manager and a waitress greeted us, but neither acknowledged my greeting. I thanked the other customer at the bar who did. We sat down at a small table in front of the bar. There were four people at the bar and a couple eating. The owner never looked at us, not even a glance; we were invisible. The waitress put away the chairs on her terrace but didn't look at us either. We sat for at least 15 minutes. My friend answered a few emails. And then we finally got up. Do you think the owner would have called us over and apologized? Not at all; she acted as if we weren't there. We've discovered a superpower: invisibility! So unless you're curious to see if you have a superpower too, just keep walking. Luckily, there are other cafes in Bergues.
