03/09/2026: This is the second time the service has been appalling. And again, I came this afternoon, having taken the trouble to call ahead. When I arrived at the MDG (Métropole de Genève), I asked to buy a bicycle chain, and the salesperson told me I'd have to cut it to know the size. I replied that it would be difficult to ride home with a cut chain... but apparently, that was the only solution. So I went to another shop, Atelier Atlille, and there the friendly gentleman looked at my crankset and sold me a chain for my bike. I'll know where to go in the future, and where not to go. 🙁

05/09/2026: Excellent carbonnade. But a bit overwhelmed during the street fair. Lack of organization: the kitchen opened at 12:15 pm, and orders for dishes were only taken from the same time.

20/07/2026: I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The food was truly subpar: bland, tasteless dishes, far from the quality one expects from a Thai restaurant. However, the most regrettable aspect was the service. The waitress, who seemed to be the manager as well, was cold, unfriendly, and sometimes unpleasant. We clearly felt like we were bothering them rather than being valued customers. It's a shame, because good service can sometimes compensate for shortcomings in the kitchen, but here neither the quality of the food nor the welcome was up to par. I unfortunately cannot recommend this establishment.

08/07/2026: We had a wonderful time at this little restaurant. We were in Lille for The Weeknd concert and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendliness of the owner. The dishes were made with excellent, fresh ingredients. The Thai shrimp soup was incredibly flavorful!

23/09/2026: It all started so well with that lovely evening: a very pleasant welcome from a young woman, much-appreciated cocktails and mocktails, and quick service. The rest of the service was more mixed when the young man took over. The absolute nadir of absurdity in a restaurant was reached when we were told we couldn't have plates for our tapas (and these tapas aren't all finger food, for example, the tomato and mozzarella salad…) because they had been cleaned and were reserved for the lunch service… I don't think I need to say more; I'll let everyone judge the absurdity of the situation.

16/09/2026: A very good experience this lunchtime; there's something for everyone and it's excellent. The welcome is very friendly. The restaurant's setting and location are impeccable. No complaints whatsoever; a menu of this quality at this price is quite rare. I'll be back.

28/04/2026: For my 18th birthday, we had a lovely time at the Hotel du Lac. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and professional, and the dessert served in our room was a nice touch. The room was spacious, the bedding was comfortable, and the view of the lake was superb. I highly recommend this hotel.

25/04/2026: I returned to the restaurant, enjoying a peaceful weekend. I savored a view of the lake from the shaded terrace. A natural atmosphere and attentive staff. I reiterate my 5-star rating. The madeleine cocktail was a delightful discovery. For my starter, I had plump, pearly scallops cooked to a perfect pearly sheen—simply superb, especially with the vermouth reduction. My main course was monkfish tail risotto with carrots and thyme. Dessert was a generous pistachio crème brûlée—a true delight. Never two without three!

25/08/2026: I came in for a drink, and the owner was very pleasant, and the setting idyllic. The postman's bicycle from "Welcome to the Sticks" and the framed photograph displayed inside added to the magic of rediscovering the film's fabulous setting.

13/09/2026: The meat was overcooked and the wine list featured many unavailable wines.

13/09/2026: Very small quantity for the price... especially the broth. Delivery was one hour late.

05/09/2026: The lady scream at us, before we decided to order anything. Didnt even want to wait a minute. She was just screaming.

29/08/2026: When we arrived at the restaurant at 8 p.m., there was stuff all over the tables. The dining room was dirty, and several tables hadn't been cleared. The waitress hadn't cleaned any of the tables before service, and the bar was in a rather impressive state of disarray. The food, however, was good. But given the overall condition of the dining room and the bar, one can't help but wonder what state the kitchen must be in…

27/08/2026: A wonderful discovery. Lovely shaded terrace, very pleasant, efficient, and professional service. An enticing menu at reasonable prices. Special mention for the smoked beef carpaccio – a real treat. Beyond the quality of the ingredients, the dishes are beautifully presented. Everything is in good taste: the decor, the ambiance, the food. Thank you for this lovely experience.

06/09/2026: The owners are very kind, and so is the waitress. The food was very good (the risotto with vegetables!!!). They have beautiful (and real!) books. The atmosphere was pleasant. Top-notch :)

03/09/2026: We stopped by this afternoon, thinking we knew the good atmosphere of this bar, but we were sorely mistaken. The bartender that day was incredibly unpleasant; no greeting, no "hello," and when we ordered a Coke, he simply pointed at the fridge with disdain. When we asked about the flavors of lemonade, he again, without a word, moved aside to show us the syrups. We tried to sit on the terrace, but the bartender stopped us with a curt "Pay up, guys." Sorry, but that's a level of disrespect towards customers I've never seen before. We won't be back.
