08/11/2025: Wow! We had dinner at the gourmet restaurant and it was… absolutely flawless, from the amuse-bouches to the petit fours! The five-course dinner was truly exceptional. Beautiful ingredients, indescribable flavors, dishes truly worthy of a Michelin star! Special mention to the vegetable starter and the scallop dish 🤤 Thank you again and congratulations to the chef and the team who gave us a truly timeless experience in a friendly setting in the Basque Country 🫶

23/03/2026: The food is excellent, no complaints there. However, as is often the case yesterday, when we stopped to get a takeaway box, they insistently and aggressively refused to let us add even a single spoonful of semolina, even though it would have fit. Very disappointed.
I don't even want to imagine what it would have been like with a merguez sausage.

The rillettes served as an appetizer were very good. For the ham and tomato, I would have liked two more slices of bread, as there were four of us. The ribeye steak was tender and well-seasoned. The mashed potatoes were superb. No complaints whatsoever.
Everything was perfectly cooked and well-prepared. We had a lovely time.

The restaurant menu features excellent ingredients; the food was delicious.
The best thing about this place is the warm welcome and kindness of the staff.

05/03/2026: On March 4, 2026, we ordered sea bream Spanish-style for two, and it was delicious... Spanish-style, meaning with garlic cooked in a surprising way. My friend had a good rum baba, and I had a glass of champagne drizzled with Patxaran, which was also very good but a little pricey. The staff was very pleasant. The dining room was comfortably warm. It's a lovely place to eat, right next to the banks of the Gave River, perfect for a post-meal stroll.
