09/10/2025: We spent the night of October 8, 2025, at the Benat Hotel in Anglet. A wonderful welcome from the owner, who waited for us even though it was supposed to be closing. The room is small but spotlessly clean, with a small but adequate bathroom, a TV, and a super comfortable bed. The toilet is on the landing, except for a small downside, but for one night, it's not a big deal. A nice and pleasant breakfast. What can I say? A pleasant break in a beautiful location with a super friendly and pleasant owner. Géraldine and Fred from Fleurance, Gers.

20/02/2026: A sure bet! I came for lunch today with my family and, as on previous occasions, everything was perfect! A very courteous welcome throughout the meal, generous and delicious dishes from appetizer to dessert. And above all, excellent value for money.

22/02/2026: A restaurant with a magnificent view and impeccable cleanliness, where we had the pleasure of lunching on the terrace. My husband and I savored a royal garbure, excellent and particularly generous, as well as a perfectly cooked sirloin steak. The staff is lovely, attentive, and welcoming. As lovers of good Béarnaise cuisine, we highly recommend this restaurant.

04/01/2026: As usual, very good. Perhaps the impression was that the Peking duck was very different from other times, as it had pineapple, whereas there wasn't any before. A shame, because I don't like it hot. The sauce and presentation were different, but it was very good nonetheless! Tony was as lovely as ever, as was the young waiter. However, I felt very uncomfortable with the waitress. She had cold, hard, even mean looks towards me, and hardly ever smiled. I felt uneasy and uncomfortable. 🫤

28/03/2026: A great restaurant for a delicious burger. Made with great care and local ingredients. The beef was locally sourced, cooked to perfection—pink and flavorful. The fries and sides were also excellent. For dessert, we ordered a homemade Tatin tart, which was spectacular. Very reasonable prices. The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

11/03/2026: I loved this hotel; it's a beautiful, very old building. The decor is rustic in the bar and dining room (and I mean that as a compliment!). There's a grand, majestic staircase leading to the rooms (there's also an elevator). In the rooms: large antique doors, large windows, etc... You feel transported back in time. We were lucky enough to get a room with a bathtub, which was incredibly pleasant after a day of skiing. It's also lovely to have an aperitif or tea in the hotel bar, or to enjoy a meal in the restaurant in the evening, which serves local dishes; the menu is very generous. The breakfast is very generous for the price; there's a wide variety of options. I highly recommend this hotel, which I think offers excellent value for money. The owners are very friendly. We will definitely be back.

24/02/2026: We stayed at this establishment for two nights and, yes, it's rustic and old-fashioned. But the welcome was warm, the sleep was excellent, and the food was very good. The owner clearly cares about hospitality, and it shows. Breakfast and dinner were very good and very generous. The hotel has a shuttle to the Gourette ski resort, and the resort is not far by car. It's a shame the village is a bit of a ghost town, but the Hotel Richelieu brings a little spark of life to Eaux-Bonnes.

14/01/2026: Very good...small restaurant, about 30 seats plus a terrace...super friendly owner... Nice menu...but the portions are too large...a nap is definitely in order.

09/11/2025: It's located halfway between Ficoba and Hendaye Beach, facing the bay with views of Hondarribia. It's a welcoming and pleasant place with an indoor dining room and a terrace. They offer an extensive wine list and fresh fish. The service is very attentive. The owner is both the waiter and the chef. It's a bistro-style restaurant with personalized service and original, delicious dishes. I went with my father, who is quite discerning, and we were both very happy. Don't forget to order dessert!
