23/09/2024: Had the 3 course menu. Fish soup excellent. Both the mains of veil and duck were also very flavourful. Service was efficient and very friendly. Deserts were great too. And all for a reasonable price, especially given the area. No complaints at all. Would definitely repeat.

I have already passed through the door of this establishment a few times, the boss in the kitchen and his wife in the dining room will offer you exceptional cuisine, a quality of products both in fish and meat you will not be disappointed in addition to the know-how of the boss. A wine list with wine growers.
Small importance for me tablecloth and cloth napkins, I will let you discover this establishment....
09/01/2025: We just had lunch at this place. Extremely disappointed with the quality of the products, the “lean” fish was mealy.
My entrecote ordered very blue was barely rare and was more akin to the low rib which was also on the menu of the day
In the end, very poor quality/price ratio

1 toast, 1 steak 1 dessert 32
I told the person who cashed it for me and his surprising response was that you chose.
In addition, despite affiliation with holiday vouchers, it is not possible to pay with them because their terminal is not configured

22/07/2024: Best kebab in Pau ! The owner is so nice. All freshly made from the bread, to the veggies, the meat. Vegetarian option. Must try all the menu it is so good ! A gem in Pau!
04/07/2024: Amazing kebab! Homemade bread is really delicious and makes a difference. The meat is fresh and also very good. Thank you for letting us taste the hummus and tzatziki which were also excellent. A great place where you eat well and leave with a smile because of the good vibes of the guy who runs it.

22/09/2024: We ate there as a group. Quality cuisine but in quantity it was a little tight. It's a very good restaurant that deserves 5 stars without hesitation.
17/09/2024: 11-day stay at the annex of the Hôtel du Fronton called Hôtel Agian with half board, very beautiful view of the mountains, very comfortable and well equipped room, good bedding, the half board meals are excellent, breakfasts with lots of choice, efficient and helpful staff, well-run establishment by the Bonnet family, very good value for money, I highly recommend.

08/10/2024: Das Restaurant Santiago gehört zum gleichnamigen Hotel, ist aber auch als nicht Hotelgast nutzbar.
Der Speisesaal ist in modernem Ambiente mit hellem Holz gehalten.
Die Speisekarte ist nicht sehr gross aber vielfältig. Man merkt, dass hier mit viel Einsatz und Freude gekocht wird.
Wir haben den Abend sehr genossen.
08/09/2024: Fantastic for a short stay in Hendaye, warm welcome from the host and nothing was too much trouble. Will be back.

L'accueil y est chaleureux, les plats y sont excellents, notamment leur côte de bœuf et surtout leurs frites maison.
Je recommande vivement, c'est une valeur sûre sur pau!!
10/11/2024: Super restaurant. L’accueil et le service sont irréprochable de l’entrée à la sortie du client. Les plats sont délicieux. La carte est variée et attractive.

22/09/2024: Admittedly out of season . We walked up thankfully 15 min before opening and we scored a table outside. Nothing the conga line behind us . Suggest you book . Very friendly staff rushing about . Terrific food - 4 people - we had about 3 entrees , a salad and a chuleta / chuleton steak( “for 2” ) and this was plenty . Hardly recommend - as there seems on this site a number of less well rated so called tourist traps ! Suggest you bring book!!

15/09/2024: Accueil sympathique et repas du jour de très bonne qualité. Ce n'est pas ma première expérience et je n'ai jamais été déçu.
Attention, n'hésitez pas à réserver car il y a toujours beaucoup de monde.
04/09/2024: We loved coming for lunch in this restaurant, which has a pleasant terrace, excellent cuisine and superb value for money. But on our last visit the service was appalling. The boss is still so nice but the waitresses still have a lot to learn. On my way to the bathroom, I heard the derogatory comments. We were the table of 2 fat people, not friendly and impatient. However, we were patient and didn't think twice... Too bad we loved coming every year...

17/09/2024: In the menu they have on the website it appears that they have gluten-free waffles, we went there specifically for that, and after waiting in a long line they told us that they didn't have them. What they do have are cones, but they don't look like they control cross contamination.
