09/12/2025: A classic local spot. They have daily specials and set menus, and then pizzas. You can go with children and strollers. The food is great.

15/11/2025: The service was impeccable, the pizzas excellent, and the tiramisu was amazing! We ate there two nights in a row because we enjoyed it so much.

30/08/2024: Fishing for pistouille (small fish) is a lot of fun. Even if the schools sometimes hide, the captain changes areas to increase the chances of catching fish. Please note that the advice not to eat dairy products, coffee or orange juice beforehand to avoid seasickness should be taken seriously but at the same time half of the participants were HS which left more room for those who had strong stomach!

03/07/2025: We had a wonderful time. The meal was truly delicious ❤️ The mussels marinière with homemade fries proved we'd made the right choice for the meal. And the desserts (which I forgot to take a picture of) confirmed it all. The tarte tatin for me and the Fontainebleau for my husband were generous, succulent, and comforting. We were charmed by the place too. Flawless ❤️

25/10/2024: Il faut avoir goûté au moins une fois dans sa vie la palombe aux deux cuissons ( rôtie et en salmi) du Bayonnais!! Pour ma part cela fait 20 ans que je sacrifie à ce rituel et je trouve que le chef se bonifie année après année !! Un grand moment : cette année nous avons pu l’accompagner d’une poêlée de cèpes. Arrosé d’un petit Graves on atteint la perfection, cela vaut pour moi tous les 3* de la terre , sans parler de l’addition, vraiment raisonnable !! Je recommande vraiment à tout gourmet digne de ce nom !!

14/09/2024: Excellent table. Sublime melon gazpacho, delicious veal Axoa and exquisite peach crumble. Generous portions. The only downside is that the staff seems understaffed.

08/12/2024: Exceptional cuisine: the dishes are delicious. Everything is homemade from A to Z. The dishes are extremely hearty, the flavors and seasonings exceptional! Even the appetizer chips are homemade, the best guacamole I've eaten in my life. Meats, vegetables and even rice are incredibly crazy... The welcome is very warm and you feel that everything is done with love... Restaurants like you rarely see. A big thank you to the boss and staff! 🌈

10/11/2024: Welcome, service, dishes, aperitif: everything is successful in this restaurant. The boss who has been there for years is always there for the customers. He sits at your table to show you the menu and the dishes of the moment. As someone else would say: very very very good!!!

02/12/2024: Excellente découverte ! Déjeuner en terrasse au soleil avec vue sur le fort de Socoa… La pariada Royale était vraiment composée d’excellents produits frais, goûteux et juteux ! La cuisson parfaitement maîtrisée, le homard bleu, les gros gambas, grosses langoustines et le merlu étaient un vrai bonheur pour nos papilles ! Et les desserts divins ! Le gâteau Basque à la pistache et le baba au rhum étaient succulents ! Le frais, le fait maison, les produits nobles , de qualité et d’une extrême fraîcheur ! Nous avons hâte de revenir pour goûter la poulpe !! Sans oublier L’adorable serveuse ! Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce merveilleux moment. À très vite..

01/12/2024: Très bon restaurant, plats délicieux, mais service un peu long. Nous avons attendu le dessert 40 mn et sommes finalement partis sans l avoir mangé. .

15/10/2024: Passing through Pau. It's been a long time since I ate duck. So I stopped there, duck being the specialty. I chose half a duck breast with honey. Very well balanced dish, the duck breast cooked as requested, all accompanied by a good glass of wine. Enough to spend a good evening. Fair price. The chef goes around the tables, which has become rare.

11/10/2024: Very good meal: duck confit, new potatoes, excellent salad and French toast dessert with shards of “suede” yoghurt ice cream, killer.....!!!! Very friendly welcome. I recommend...

18/11/2023: Buckwheat crepe too small, not filled enough and borderline hot. Given its size, it should cost €8 maximum and not €10.50. Plus the so-called shoulder is just supermarket ham. The boss should understand that we do not serve at the table when the customer is in the toilet, especially when he only has 2 customers.
