06/11/2025: A wonderful experience with top-notch service. Quite by chance, my partner and I stopped at this hotel-restaurant not far from the campsite where we were staying. We initially went there for a romantic dinner and were warmly welcomed and given excellent advice by our waiter. The menu was delicious (with a particular highlight being the smoked trout from the Basque Country). The waiter provided us with excellent guidance, both on our meal choices and on the itinerary for our trip through the French and Spanish Basque Country. We were so impressed by the service and the setting that we decided to return a week later, once our road trip was over, to spend the night. The quality of the room was also consistent with the rest of our experience at the Hôtel Restaurant Bonnet. It goes without saying that our dinner was once again delicious (and we would love to hear the recommendation for the Spanish wine our ever-reliable waiter gave us!). As promised, we will gladly return and recommend this great place!

27/02/2026: Not a fan of crepes, but the Viennese hot chocolate is excellent, especially with a caramel waffle! The view overlooking the sea is fantastic. The staff is decent (a bit lacking in cheerfulness and humor, which is a shame) and the place is clean. Perfect for a family outing or a romantic getaway.

20/03/2026: A location offering stunning views of the beautiful Pyrenees Mountains and surrounding park. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with perfectly firm beds! The shower booth and bathtub are also large and have excellent water pressure! The service is great, making for a very pleasant hotel!

14/03/2026: We stopped by chance, trusting our intuition since we saw locals eating. It turned out to be one of the best decisions; the staff was very friendly, spoke Spanish, and the food was delicious. The price was reasonable. I should also mention that they were wonderful with our pet, which is always a bonus. We would definitely return if we ever go back to Pau.

24/01/2026: A wonderful little old-fashioned bistro with a family atmosphere and open kitchen. We were very pleasantly surprised. The homemade fries and desserts were delicious, the meat was high quality, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the portions were generous, all at unbeatable prices. We'll be back!

18/12/2024: We spent an absolutely wonderful night at this beachfront hotel. The suite was stunning, spacious and perfectly decorated, offering stunning views of the ocean. Comfort was there, with quality bedding and an idyllic setting in which to relax. We enjoyed the spa, which allowed us to recharge our batteries. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, ideal for a moment as a couple. We highly recommend this hotel for a romantic getaway. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy an unforgettable experience.

04/10/2025: What a joy to have discovered this place where you think you're at your grandmother's; restaurants like there aren't many left... for an unbeatable price; well-cooked dishes with quality products; today an excellent garbure, super top calf's head, a steak (not a sinew... and cooked masterfully) very tasty with potato gratin... in short, super satisfied; we are welcomed as if we were family... I will come back! even if it means making a 40 km detour! Thank you for existing and offering us these little moments of happiness!

24/02/2026: What an amazing bar! This was my first dinner in Bayonne and I was never disappointed. The tapas of Jambon Bayonne and cheese were awesome. The staffs were incredible warm and welcoming too. I saw many locals visiting the bar, which was no doubt. 100% recommended to anyone. It’d be difficult to find a table in the dinner time so reservations might be better, in particular if you are a large group.
