04/09/2026: Great location, cute restaurant. The food was okay, but overpriced for pork chops and beef ribeye; unfortunately, there was no entrecôte. The young waiter was unfortunately very inattentive, always looking away, and we didn't feel welcome.

22/08/2026: An authentic and welcoming restaurant with a superb view of the Nivelle River. The dishes are refined and the staff is very friendly.

15/08/2026: It was our first time there; we're from the area and love fish restaurants. But things started going downhill as soon as we arrived. We had a reservation, but they assigned us a table in a very drafty spot. When we asked for another table, even though many were empty, the waiter, who seemed a bit older, balked and said he couldn't move us. We insisted, and he finally agreed, but with a sour look on his face. He didn't even try to speak to us once. We were poorly seated on narrow, uncomfortable benches. We ordered John Dory and monkfish, after having grilled anchovies as a starter. There was a long wait between the two courses, which ended up arriving cold. I had to ask for mayonnaise to go with my monkfish, which was only good in appearance. All of this took place in a very unpleasant atmosphere. And 10 minutes after being served, they asked us if we were finished, the waitress ready to clear our plates, while we were still eating! 🤑 So we didn't have dessert or coffee!!! Very disappointed because €80 without drinks, dessert, or coffee. For me, that's throwing money away. We do not recommend it!!! Basque hospitality needs improvement!!!

07/11/2025: We've eaten here several times and it's always been a pleasant experience because the food is refined and delicious. The service is also friendly, without being over the top, unlike what's so often the case. I recommend it without hesitation.

15/06/2026: Restaurant review: We were just passing through. We had lunch there yesterday. The dishes were high quality, very generous portions, and well-prepared. The two waitresses were friendly, and there was a shaded terrace. It's a place we highly recommend; it offers excellent value for money.

01/09/2026: The food was exquisite. It came out without waiting. The service was outstanding. The blonde waitress with the ponytail was a delight! Friendly, professional, and very outgoing! I loved her way of working; she made you feel very comfortable! The place is pet-friendly, which is also worth mentioning, as it's not common in restaurants in Pau. So, I give it a 10. They speak some Spanish, which I greatly appreciate since French is very difficult for me. I recommend this place because it stands out for many reasons 💖
