23/08/2024: Nous étions 4 et avons tous apprécié notre dîner. Le service a été rapide, nous avons aimé le style du restaurant, l'accueil des serveuses, les mets simples mais avec du goût, une bonne bouteille de vin. Au top et à recommander.

15/08/2024: Restaurant à fuir ! La viande est nerveuse, les frites pas cuites et si on a le malheur de dire quelques chose à la serveuse blonde : on se fait très mal parlé : il ne faut pas travailler au contact des gens si on a pas de tact !

15/09/2024: Super endroit. Serveuse très sympa avec le sens de l'humour. Repas excellent. Épaule d'agneau bien confite, rien à dire, sinon continuez comme çà.

27/08/2024: These are the restaurants you love France for: simple creative cuisine with great product quality. We didn’t plan to eat it a lot but ended up eating appetizer, main and dessert. Atmosphere is better inside than outside I feel - outside lacks the coziness. Super friendly and funny service. Food was great product quality and had creative combinations. E.g. marinated raw tuna with passion fruit sauce and fennel salad. The dishes could have been even more refined but for this setting and price point it’s fair.

05/09/2024: It was our last evening in Arcangue, we are returning to our Dordogne but we did not want to dine in this inn and we were not disappointed, we had a great time, very well received with the soul of Luis Mariano, we highly recommend this hostel Patrick and Véronique

26/09/2024: Cool place. Got a special of the day, bruschetta with pesto, buratta and figs - enjoy that a lot! Nice vibe and friendly staff. Pretty large space but feels coziness and makes you feel like staying for a bit longer. Worth your visit!

25/09/2024: Portions were huge! Makes sense for the high prices. We were early and got a table fast but there were lots of people waiting outside.

07/12/2025: It seems they don't accept Spaniards. Two Spanish families were asked to leave two empty tables without explanation, as if the manager didn't want us to sit down. And as soon as we got up, two French women sat down and were served... Surreal.

07/12/2025: Horrible experience. Unpleasant owner who refused to let us sit down at a table to have a coffee- without any justification or reason. The waitress told us that we couldn’t sit down and it was because the owner said we weren’t allowed (we presume it was because we were foreign ) such a shame as we’re in bayonne on tourism and we’ll be leaving with a bitter feeling because of this owner.

07/12/2024: A typical and authentic place, honest and tasty cuisine. Fresh and local products, pleasant service and welcome, a stop is essential.

05/12/2024: Very nice place to eat facing the ocean and the Socoa fort. Obviously you have to come to eat seafood and it's fresh and delicious, the rest is also very good. Often this kind of place delights in terms of the view and does not match the cuisine, here that is not the case. The service was also very attentive. To do again!

09/11/2025: It's extremely rare for me to leave a review, but even though the terrace has an exceptional view, the service is deplorable. The waiter arrived without saying hello, after a short wait. Very unpleasant and not at all customer-oriented. It's terrible how these beautiful places can become so unprofessional that the people who work there no longer need to make the slightest effort to attract customers!

17/10/2025: For once, my wife and I were locals... Crashing a waffle after leaving the beach in early October. Bad luck... Super light batter... Added water or egg white... We'll never know... But no flavor... Just air, 🤔 €6 a waffle😡

20/05/2025: When we arrived we were surprised by the cold welcome... but it quickly passed!!! Truly a family restaurant, they are all lovely and helpful and the food is so good! The plates are generous, it's really a restaurant not to be missed!

11/05/2025: To flee! Tasteless pizza with tasteless products, undrinkable wine and impossible-to-finish dessert because it is so sweet!

29/11/2024: Belle surprise en découvrant la crêperie "le blé noir" et son menu à 15,90€ (entrée thonade, galette 3 ingrédients et dessert). Accueil souriant, carte complète et variée de galettes, prix corrects pour Biarritz. Moyennant des suppléments, nous avons pris deux menus et demandé une galette plus élaborée. Les crêpes sont généreuses et bien garnies. Endroit et ambiance agréables, je recommande.

26/09/2024: Se trata de una excelente crepería que sirve una amplia gama de crepes salados y dulces. Nos sentamos dentro (han reformado bien el interior desde nuestra última visita en 2018 ) pero también hay una terraza. Está situado justo al lado del mar y disfrutamos de hermosas vistas de la puesta de sol sobre el mar. El servicio fue rápido y cortés y los precios son muy razonables.
