27/08/2024: These are the restaurants you love France for: simple creative cuisine with great product quality. We didn’t plan to eat it a lot but ended up eating appetizer, main and dessert.
Atmosphere is better inside than outside I feel - outside lacks the coziness.
Super friendly and funny service.
Food was great product quality and had creative combinations. E.g. marinated raw tuna with passion fruit sauce and fennel salad.
The dishes could have been even more refined but for this setting and price point it’s fair.

06/09/2024: I arrived one summer evening in Biarritz in a BlaBlaCar. 1st restaurant that I found on my way to my hotel and frankly I was lucky to come across it! The pizza, a forest one, was excellent, and the staff so friendly. I recommend without hesitation 👌

27/11/2024: Quel dommage que la cuisine ne soit pas à la hauteur du lieu ! Belle grande salle avec une vue superbe, de l’hôtel d’Angleterre jusqu’au phare . Service diligent . Mais la carte , assez chère, présente des plats médiocres , voire indigents . Ainsi les ravioles au beurre de sauge s’avèrent elles pâteuses et surcuites . Le « beurre de sauge » est en fait une crème très acide, citronnée ( et le citron n’est pas le bienvenu dans cette recette). La volaille est accompagnée d’une piperade tout à fait ordinaire et nage dans une mousse improbable, pour 29 euros .Le petit soufflé à la noisette est plaisant et nous réconforte ( à 18 euros quand même ) .

Run by Martine, a little woman of rare energy who does everything, handling the answering machine and reservations, buying food, cooking, serving customers... all this with great friendliness, a lot of kindness and a lot of good taste ! His home cooking is delicious, the price more than reasonable.
