21/06/2026: A restaurant I've known for several years, a near-obligatory stop whenever I'm in the Basque Country. The welcome was pleasant. I left feeling truly disappointed. First, there was far too long a wait for the dishes to arrive. The Thai shrimp noodles were nothing like Thai noodles—no coriander, no Thai basil, no chili, no scallions, no ginger, no crisp bok choy, and no spices whatsoever. The duck breast was perfect, but the fries were awful—limp and swimming in oil. All this for €22 apiece. If I may, I'd suggest they stick to the traditional regional cuisine they know best...

20/05/2026: Normally profiteroles are three scoops of vanilla ice cream, but here they served us two. The chocolate was fermented and had a rather unpleasant smell. I've tasted profiteroles before, but these were awful. I advise you, hygiene-wise, it's not acceptable.

16/05/2026: We chose this brasserie for lunch and to watch a rugby match. We received a warm welcome from the incredibly friendly staff. The meal was delicious and plentiful, and reasonably priced. To top it all off, the atmosphere is very relaxed in a beautiful setting. I highly recommend it. I'll definitely be back to this pub next time I'm in the area.

13/12/2025: We arrived as a group and received a warm welcome. We enjoyed lasagna and quiche Lorraine. The food was homemade, and the desserts were delicious. I thank the staff and the owner for their hospitality and kindness.

20/01/2026: An absolute top recommendation! Superb hospitality and outstanding, personalized service in all areas. Modern Basque ambiance. Quiet location on the edge of the picturesque village, with numerous impressive hikes accessible both directly from the hotel and within easy driving distance. The Atlantic coast (St.-Jean-de-Luz!) is also reachable in about 30-40 minutes. Large pool. Excellent cuisine (vegetarian menus with fish instead of meat are available; purely vegetarian or vegan options are difficult).

05/06/2026: The construction trades know this place well and come to this friendly restaurant to refuel for the afternoon. You feel right at home in the welcoming, family atmosphere where people chat cheerfully with one another. The service is quick and efficient. The menu is generous and reasonably priced for fresh, carefully selected, and well-prepared ingredients. The daily special when we had lunch there was an excellent brandade de morue (salt cod purée). You can go there expecting a hearty meal at a very reasonable price.

Not to mention the caipirinhas, simply incredible, we felt like we were in Brazil 🥰. A huge thank you to Stéphane for his kindness, his passion, and all the wonderful stories that accompany the dishes. We loved it! The two of us from Toulouse will be back with great pleasure to discover the rest of the menu and finally try the famous chocolate tiramisu 😋. We recommend it 100%! ✨💕
