25/08/2026: The owner explained everything to us about all the regional products, and they are indeed of good quality. From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but the food is very good.

11/09/2026: Le Dauphin... What can I say? A place where the food is always excellent. The mussels are a delight.
The terrace is very inviting and features a lovely little fountain.
The staff are super friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
I'll be back without hesitation.

Friendly and welcoming staff.
Spacious room, comfortable bed, unbeatable price in Sare this time of year.
The only downside is that you should leave the doors to the corridor leading to the rooms open (they are closed by the staff) otherwise they slam shut every time someone passes by.

The room was exactly as advertised.
The staff was very friendly and attentive.
Excellent breakfast.

The location is excellent—set amidst the lush, green surroundings of Hasparren, offering a peaceful atmosphere while still feeling well connected. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The food was a highlight, with delicious Basque flavors that felt authentic and thoughtfully prepared. A lovely place to relax and truly enjoy the stay.
22/03/2026: A beautifully decorated room, with many thoughtful touches upon arrival (Basque cake, complimentary drinks in the refrigerator). The peaceful Basque countryside. A superb breakfast with the chef personally bringing the eggs and bacon – very classy!

08/09/2026: Excellent food since the new team took over, and a superb chef. We thoroughly enjoyed every dish, and Avon was pleasantly surprised by the excellent cuisine and the variety of dishes. This establishment is the heart of the village and brings a lot of life to it. Well done! 🎉 We will be back often.
07/09/2026: We received a very warm welcome with smiles this weekend! Excellent meat, perfectly cooked, and fast service. A very pleasant setting in the village square, next to the bar with its pelota court, and easy parking. Special mention to the chef. We highly recommend it, and we'll definitely be back!

06/06/2026: We arrived at 2 pm. There were two of us, and we had a wonderful time. The meal was incredible, from the appetizer to the dessert. Everything was delicious. I highly recommend it. It's rare to find a restaurant of this caliber with such good value for money.

Tables without tablecloths and sticky. Bland omelet. Soggy fries. Nothing like the old institution. I strongly advise against it.

It's a shame you allow cigars! Three cigars behind us and cigarettes... very unpleasant!

10/11/2025: A wonderful discovery at the end of October 2025! It's lovely to be able to stop for a meal in a nice little place while walking to Fort Socoa. The waitress who greeted and served us was very friendly and welcoming. We had mussels and fries, which were delicious, with a generous cone of fries. I highly recommend this place.
