23/03/2026: The food is really good; in terms of value for money, it's hard to beat, especially for fish that's often locally sourced. The decor is very nice, and the terrace has a breathtaking view. However, the major drawback is the service. The initial welcome is brief, and then the wait is very long. It's difficult to identify which server is serving our table. We had to wait a long time for the menus, and there's no drinks menu other than bottled wines, which is a shame because it's impossible to know the prices. Once we ordered, the main courses arrived quickly, but then we waited over 20 minutes for a promised dessert menu that never arrived. It's a pity because we would have liked the service to match the quality of the food, but there's still work to be done.

08/03/2026: We hadn't booked, yet we were warmly welcomed on a Sunday at lunchtime. We were told there would be a wait, but the courses kept coming. Good, traditional cooking, just like Grandma used to make. We thoroughly enjoyed this generous meal.

08/03/2026: A fantastic restaurant!! Definitely make a reservation!! Even for two!! A real treat, amazing flavors...we tried everything on the menu and it was delicious. The kids want to have their birthday party there...We'll see...it's still an hour and 45 minutes from home 🤣

21/12/2025: We had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Patxi's! It was pouring rain, but the warm atmosphere of the restaurant made us forget the bad weather. The servers were friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food was varied and of high quality. We will gladly return.

17/03/2026: The best Ibis Styles I have visited. Everything was really super. An extra thanks to Idske and Jean-Charles. Manager of this Hotel is a very friendly woman, and she loves dogs.

08/01/2026: The hotel is generally fine, with decent rooms and a pleasant appearance. However, the spa and pool experience was quite disappointing. It's advertised as a hotel with a spa and pool, leading you to expect relaxing hot tubs, and you book the hotel with that in mind, but the pool water was cold and the spa is tiny, barely big enough for two people. Upon arrival, the reception staff were quite unhelpful. No one explained where the spa was located or how to access it, even though it's in a different part of the hotel, something we consider essential for guests. Overall, the hotel is very good, but the information about the facilities and customer service should be improved to avoid disappointments.

19/03/2026: La Pergola is the casino where my wife and I first played, brought by our friends Norbert and Elisabeth, who lived on Rue de la République at the time. For a first try, it was a resounding success. Furious at having lost, I threw my last few coins into a machine. I won enough to buy my wife a superb pair of handmade red espadrilles, which she had been wanting, and I treated everyone to the restaurant "La Banquise," if I'm not mistaken, where the four of us shared a delicious and generous seafood platter. Amazing! René

02/03/2026: Beautiful restaurant with incredible food. There is a full bar and a wine selection that is impressive. The wait staff seated us and provided a menu - we went with the set menu, which included a main and a dessert. I went with the pork loin - served with pepper and onions with a side salad and a family side of fried potatoes. It was very good - the thinly sliced pork melted I to your mouth and we discovered why pork in the area is famous. My wife went with the squid. We decided that she won the ordering game - sauted very fresh calamari and baby squid lightly seasoned with paprika - it was very good. We had decided to share plates when we ordered. She reneged after the first bit. I also recommend the basque cake - excellent flavor of the region - like french pastry with a firm custard center. So good. We also ordered the coffee - I am not European so am concerned that I may be awake for a week due to caffeine content - but good nonetheless. Great visit - highly recommend.

07/11/2025: Restaurant located in the historic center of town, accessible only on foot... Traditional cuisine in a charming, old-fashioned setting with a menu to suit all budgets. Very friendly and professional service. Reservations are recommended to avoid being turned away, even on weekdays, especially during school holidays.
