23/09/2024: While passing through the region we stopped off at this magnificent, well-run restaurant and above all the way we like it: relaxed calm where we eat good, well-prepared and valued products. The meat is excellent and the rum baba is delicious. Thank you for your welcome, service and cuisine. We will come back as soon as possible... Regards from Charente maritime.

19/09/2024: Superb welcome, superb cuisine, and for a more than reasonable price Used to the old boss, again we continue to go there Because the new boss is just as welcoming and nothing has changed in terms of plate, atmosphere and prices and top staff 👍 I recommend this establishment, which for my part is really top in all points of view as I list above 👌😉

12/09/2024: IT'S MORE FOR COCKTAILS/DRINKING. Little variety of pintxos, although very delicious. Very central area, which means parking is horrible. THE BEST, THE SERVICE. VERY CLOSE AND KIND. THEY QUICKLY LEFT US A TABLE WITH THE PUPPY, VERY COMFORTABLE.

07/08/2024: Regulars at Les Halles, we regularly eat at Coco Viet. Everything is very good, the noodles, the caramel chicken, the spring rolls and the steamed ravioli. We recommend !

30/07/2024: Repas pris dans leur annexe au marché des Halles de PAU. Cuisine excellente et service très agréable malgré que nous soyons arrivés juste avant leur fermeture. Cette adresse est à retenir pour qui veut manger près des halles passé 14h.

19/08/2024: Good cooking, some dishes like garbure lack seasoning. But as for the welcome, deplorable, after being very poorly received by an old lady, she did not direct us to the map. It is unacceptable to receive customers in a deplorable manner in the restaurant industry. I advise against it to avoid wasting your time. It is also useless to ask for advice on the menu otherwise you will be sent upset by what appears to be the boss. I have doubts about the freshness of certain foods. Avoid at all costs

31/08/2024: Nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant un midi. Nous avons été placé à l’arrière dans la cour. Je ne le conseille pas, nous avons subi une attaque en règle par des moustiques affamés ! Les assiettes servies sont très conséquentes. La cuisine est simple et familiale. Le serveur est très agréable.

30/08/2024: Restau très agréable à Saint Jean, avec très belle terrasse ombragée. Les assiettes complètes sont un peu chères mais c'est un lieu très touristique donc, pas sureprenant. Serveur et serveuse au top, mais patron au bar.... très désagréable. Restaurant qui indique accepter les chèques vacances mais qui fait des réflexion aux clients pour "payer cash" et qui finalement décide de ne pas accepter les chèques vacances en illimité... c'était très limite. Dommage.

07/08/2024: We had a very nice stay at this hotel. The room is simple but clean, and it is very well soundproofed. The bedding is very comfortable. The breakfast is very good, salty and sweet, the products are of very good quality. We also ate at the restaurant for lunch, which we enjoyed. And in addition to being excellent, the cuisine is plentiful. Dogs are accepted everywhere, even by the pool (on a leash). The staff is very helpful, smiling. A real pleasure ! We will come back with pleasure!

13/09/2024: Two outstanding meals chez Germaine this week! Sunday with 3 vegetarians, one of whom said it was the best restaurant meal they had ever had, and a perfect child's vegetarian meal too! Everything was delicious and superb value for money, with hummus and crackers, mise en bouche and choux buns with the coffee, all free extras. Last night was with a person who doesn't eat meat, gluten or lactose (!) and the chef more than rose to the occasion with a delicious squash soup with a perfect poached egg with gluten-free bread and courgettes stuffed with black rice, the dessert of sorbets with vegetable sushis is outlandish yet successful. I don't know of another restaurant in the area that is capable of producing such high quality food for such a variety of requirements. The 25€ meal is outstanding value. This place is fast becoming our canteen in the area. Just can't recommend it enough.

29/08/2024: I give 2 ⭐️ for the place (beautiful place and terrace) and for the overwhelmed servers (the poor ones). Quality/price to be reviewed, there are better in Pau. A little bartender training for the quality of his Mojito wouldn't hurt him. (€8.50). And a little wink to the boss, it's a shame to put bread straight from the freezer with a quality country pâté. A quick aside on the Italian salad (too green), I think the cook forgot the seasoning. We won't come back. Best wishes . And above all, good luck to the servers.
