À Itxassou il faut visiter l’église et déjeuner à l auberge
Accueil hyper chaleureux tous les plats nous ont été expliqués avec passion et franchement tout était délicieux
De l entrée au dessert aucune fausse note

We enjoyed the starter "fried chipirons with aioli", the main course "hake steak and prawns à la plancha" up to the dessert "white lady"
The products are really fresh and cooked with great care.

We are going back.
Once again we enjoyed ourselves. The dishes are still delicious, yum the chipirons with aioli are still excellent! And the bar for 2 and its creamed potatoes, a delight!
As for the service, special mention for Perrine and her male colleague.
Bravo Chantal, you have a good team! From the kitchen to the service...we will have to come back 😉

Little advice, change the recipe and ingredients. Even if it means paying 2-3€ euros more.

En plus demander un règlement avant avoir était servi je trouve cela très incorrecte.

01/09/2024: They have a wide variety of pizzas and they are good but nothing special, we went because it said you could eat pasta but they only serve at lunch. It is more a place to order pizzas and take home than to eat there.
What I liked least was the attention of one of the workers who I personally think is unprofessional and I left there with bad memories. I will not return

Located near the cycle path which runs along the Nive from Bayonne. Possibility of having lunch on the terrace, a pleasant place. Also offers pizzas and paninis to take away.

14/09/2024: J’avais commandé les rillettes de canard “fait maison” et je vois arriver une assiette avec un pâté rond avec la marque du couvercle imprimé dessus.
Cela sortait directement de la boite de conserve, comme vous l’avez compris.
On sentait bien la graisse dedans et pas trop la viande. Donc goût insipide.
De plus pas de chance, c’était le chaos complet sur la terrasse où le personnel avait mélangé les numéros de table.
Du coup tout les serveurs/serveuses étaient occupés à retrouver leurs petits plutôt que de s’occuper de leurs clients.
Soirée ratée!
07/09/2024: Buzzy atmosphere. Good range of local wines. I didn’t like my sausages as too grisly and the piperade was tasteless. But the beef axoa was excellent. Good service from the young staff.

13/09/2024: Quality establishment with its copious and elaborate local cuisine. You will find a friendly atmosphere there as well as very welcoming and warm staff, my partner and I highly recommend this place, go there with your eyes closed!

01/12/2024: Null !!! Friendly waitresses but what a disappointment on the plate: lack of taste, you can smell the frying oil, the prime rib seems to have been cooked and not seared.
We're still trying to understand why the cook is walking back and forth in the room for no reason, arms crossed...slightly oppressive.
10/11/2024: Great restaurant, we eat there very often, it's always very good. The servers are always pleasant!

The choice offered in the three-course menu (€26.50) is varied and appetizing (prawns, scallops, profiteroles among others)

I had a short coffee, a chocolatine, and a squeezed orange juice, all delicious! 😋
🍊The orange juice was cool and refreshing, perfect for starting the day (I'll be back).
The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxing, ideal for a city break.
The terrace offers a beautiful view of Place Clémenceau, and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
I highly recommend! 👍💯
