28/08/2024: Rude and discriminatory service I came on vacation to Biarritz and I had the bad idea of ​​stopping at this restaurant. As soon as I arrived, the waiter invited me in to consult the menu, even though the interior of the restaurant was empty with many free tables. Naturally, I ask him if there is room, to which he replies, laughing, with a big smile: “No no, there is no room. » Thinking he was joking, I sit down at a table. And then he comes back to tell me, still in a mocking tone: “No, no, miss, it’s reserved, there is no room. » What made this experience even more unpleasant is that I am Asian, and I couldn't help but wonder if this treatment was related to my origins. Why invite me into the restaurant to see the menu if it ends up refusing me a seat, when the restaurant was empty? This attitude is incomprehensible, disrespectful, and, unfortunately, it leaves a bitter taste of discrimination. I strongly advise against this restaurant to anyone looking for a welcome worthy of the name.

26/08/2024: I’m giving four stars because it’s a very small restaurant. It’s not child-friendly unless you sit on the terrace. Since we arrived at 9 PM, we managed to sit inside, bringing our baby along with the stroller. Overall, the prices are good and the food is tasty. The staff was friendly and attentive to details.

17/08/2024: Nous nous sommes rendus à la cafétéria pour un repas rapide avant de se rendre à la cité de l'océan. Prix extrêmement élevés pour la qualité et les produits proposés! J'aurais préféré mettre cette somme dans un resto mais pas dans un snack! De plus, trop d'attente pour préparer un croque, un wrap et une tarte alors qu'il y ait peu de chance que les produits soient fait maison!

16/06/2024: Sehr unfreundlich. Lassen einen nicht auf der Terrasse etwas trinken!!! Absolut nicht empfehlenswert!!!!!!! NEVER GO THERE. THE OWNER IS SO UNFRIENDLY AND ANGRY. He didn't let us something to drink or eat. Just because we are also visitors of the Festival! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

06/10/2024: Arrived at 7 after 2:00 p.m., in full boom...a crazy crowd and yet served with calm and kindness. Excellent dishes and good quantities...the boss and the young girl are really welcoming...I recommend +++

29/07/2024: Nous avons gouté leur gateau basque à la crème et aussi celui à la cerise noire: EXCELLENTS , fourrés généreusement et que de qualité. Bien au dessus des gateaux des 2 leader au pays basque de ce produit typique. Dommage nous n’avons pas gouté leurs autres pâtisseries ou leur chocolat

29/07/2024: Nous y sommes rentrés pour acheter la curiosité locale, le gâteau basque à la crème. Et nous avons été tellement bien reçu que nous avons pu déguster de délicieux chocolats. Le gâteau était divin mais c est surtout la qualité de l accueil qui m a épaté.

12/05/2024: Lorsque nous allons sur anglet avec ma sœur ,nous mangeons a ce restaurant. L'année dernière nous y sommes allés 3 fois en 10 jours et samedi 11 mai nous y sommes retournés. Toujours aussi bon. Les crêpes sont assez garnies . Beaucoup de choix. Les desserts aussi sont délicieux. Le cidre une merveille. Et le personnel d'une gentillesse qui fait plaisir. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. J'y emmènerai des amis. Et la famille. Merci a ce restaurant bravo à eux

14/04/2024: Accueil souriant malgré une arrivée en fin de service. Large choix aussi bien sucré que salé. Service rapide. Galettes délicieuses et de bonnes tailles. Seul bémol: peu de différence entre les galettes peu chères et celles qui coûtent le double du prix ! Au final, un bon repas à un prix correct à la Chambre d'Amour.

21/08/2024: Endroit incontournable depuis des années ! Le menu est simple et efficace. La vue est à couper le souffle. Le personnel accueillant. Possibilité de faire des grandes tablées de 15 personnes !!!

20/08/2024: Wonderful location in a lush Basque oak forest with great views just over the border in Spain. The food is simple but exquisite, mainly with Basque charcuterie as a starter and a selection of omelettes as a main. The omelette with cep mushrooms is delicious and the whiskey ice cream dessert cake is just exceptional that we had to go for an extra helping ! You can take a relaxing walk in the surrounding forest after lunch as well. Booking is a must as otherwise you risk doing the trip for nothing.

14/09/2024: Cafe Moka is a really good bar in Petit Bayonne, which is the area on the other side of La Nive, ie opposite Les Halles. Along with a few other bars it is situated in a nice open area and has indoor and outdoor seating. We only came for beers but the combination platter of hams, sausage cheese etc looked so good we had one, which was excellent, and we stayed for a few more beers . The service here is top class and this is a super cafe bar.

18/09/2023: Very nice experience. The managers are great. The meal very good. I had a great time. I highly recommend.

10/08/2023: Go for it.. The decor is nice, the welcome too, as for the dishes, they are good and generous. The Italian tartare for me and the rump steak from Madame were just delicious! Good address.

14/09/2024: Nous sommes mal tombés visiblement . Pourtant le pigeon proposé par le serveur était bien tentant mais il nous est arrivé à peine chaud ( " à cause du vent"...). Quant à la planche de fromages pour 2 facturée 12 € , c'est tout simplement une arnaque . Pas très professionnel tout cela , pas très aimable non plus . La clientèle des retraités de passage ne doit pas être traitée ainsi , elle fait aussi vivre ceux qui se disent restaurateurs . Nous passerons au large la prochaine fois , de ce restaurant , pas du coquet village .

04/09/2024: Super soirée, je recommande, nous avons eu une serveuse magnifique, souriante, très efficace et je dirais même rigolote 🙂, il me semble qu’elle s’appelait Anna, bravo à elle et aux cuistots !
