The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the dishes are generous and delicious, and the service is very friendly. You feel right at home from the moment you arrive. A place full of character that I recommend without hesitation!

26/07/2026: Excellent place, the restaurant lives up to its name, serving delicious, typical Alsatian dishes, including a very good tarte flambée. The entire team is incredibly attentive. I highly recommend it.

04/09/2026: An extremely energetic, helpful, and smiling waitress. A perfect lunch in the shade of a very quiet and shady little square. Such a pleasant moment.

23/09/2026: The food was good, however the service was deplorable. They made a mistake with the aperitifs, correcting them only after the main courses had been served, and then threw the dishes back onto the table. The waitress needs to rethink her approach. The wine arrived at the very end of the meal, and we left disappointed. I do not recommend this restaurant for the poor service.

23/09/2026: While passing through Marlenheim, I had the pleasure of discovering the restaurant L’Arbre Vert, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The food was excellent, flavorful, and of high quality, served in a particularly pleasant and welcoming setting. I would also like to highlight the warm welcome, as well as the kindness and smile of the waiter, which greatly contributed to making this a delightful experience. A truly excellent restaurant that I highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. I will definitely be back!

27/08/2026: I'd been wanting to try their English afternoon tea for ages, and it was definitely worth the trip! From the moment you step into the garden, you're immersed in a sophisticated world, with vibrant colors and rich details. The warm welcome from the passionate Frédéric and his team is as wonderful as the setting itself. The madeleines, cakes, and teas are delicious and tell beautiful stories. A timeless experience to rediscover each season!

27/08/2026: I had an incredible time today. Frédéric takes you into his world with passion, and it's a pleasure to listen to him. What's more, the tea is beautifully prepared, and the madeleines and scones are delicious! I can't wait to go back!

18/09/2026: The decor and setting weren't great, and the atmosphere was a bit dated (it all needs updating). The staff (waitress and owner) were incredibly kind, lovely, and welcoming. I want to congratulate the chef who introduced me to a truly remarkable and memorable cordon bleu! I only have one thing to say: it's the best cordon bleu I've ever eaten! I've tasted hundreds, but this one is the best in all of Alsace! (It deserves to be known and to have 6 stars!) My sincerest congratulations! 🥳🙏👌 I'll be back this time with my family, who will be thrilled to enjoy it with your delicious golden fries. My sincere regards and thanks. 23/09/2026: A wonderful discovery at this neighborhood restaurant, La Cave Schutzenberger! Everything was perfect from start to finish. I ordered the beef: the meat was absolutely delicious and incredibly tender, perfectly coated in a rich and succulent shallot sauce. The touch of slightly sweet sweet potato purée to garnish the plate was a real treat. It was served with fries and a very fresh salad, made to order. The Pinot Noir chosen to accompany the dish was excellent, and the value for money is simply unbeatable. A welcoming place you'll want to return to; I highly recommend it! ☺️

06/09/2026: I was really craving a cordon bleu. It was cooked perfectly, the cheese was melted, the meat tender, and the portion more than generous. The prices were competitive. The menu is small, but the food is well-prepared. The only downside is that the tables are wide, which is nice because there's plenty of space, but you do have to speak a little louder to have a conversation. Like everywhere else, it's a bit noisy. It's also a little warm inside... The decor is pleasant and the service is welcoming.
