29/07/2024: As always, the perfect summer lunch. Quick, friendly service and by far the best beignets (local version of rosti) in the mountains. The owner/chef, Jean-Roger has his own secret recipe and they're to die for - light, crisp and melt in your mouth. Generous servings and beautifully presented. I've been coming here for five years and have never had a bad meal. The menu changes in the ski season and I'm already looking forward to coming back in December for my anchovy pizza.

31/05/2024: Belle découverte en face de notre hôtel. Lunch rapidement servi, tout était très bon, mention spéciale pour les bananes plantain. Ambiance sympathique Je recommande pour toute personne qui souhaite découvrir des plats africains avec des sauces originales et très bonnes

21/03/2024: La cuisine est goûteuse, un vrai régal de saveurs, apéritif au gingembre top, le lieu est agréable, on s'y sent bien. La cheffe peut être fière de son travail.

25/08/2024: Le restaurant possède Une vue incroyable, beaucoup de randonnées autour du restaurant, la cuisine est très bonne et le personnel est super, je recommande !

12/02/2026: Avoid at all costs. A very disappointing stay at the Hotel Edelweiss in Châtel (February 2026). The room was tiny, about 10-12 square meters: impossible to open suitcases and move around at the same time. The bathroom was extremely small, the shower curtain unpleasant and unhygienic, offering no privacy for the toilet or shower. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable, and there was no hot water after several guests had showered. There was no housekeeping for three days: the cleaning lady came around 9 a.m., and if you were still in the room, she didn't come back later. The hotel is very poorly insulated: noise from 7 a.m. onwards, incessant footsteps above, noisy cleaning, and the road traffic impossible to ignore. The reception was cold, and no attention was paid to departing guests. The only positive points were the location and the free parking. Otherwise, a restless stay and poor value for money.

01/12/2024: Pour 2 plats de pâtes, vraiment très bon rapport qualité-prix, serveuse agréable, nous avons réussi a obtenir une place un samedi midi

31/10/2024: Super rapport qualité-prix ! Un vrai resto familial où on se sent tout de suite à la maison. La patronne est super sympa, l'accueil est chaleureux et sans chichis. Franchement, je recommande ! C’est juste dommage que ce petit trésor soit un peu caché – il mérite clairement plus de visibilité ! Le burger et les pizzas ? Une tuerie !

18/07/2024: Bel endroit calme, cosy un peu honereux 7€ le supplément de frites est un abusé pour des frites surgelées mais personnel très gentil

16/06/2024: Site pas à jour ne marche pas Accueil grossier Carte très limitée Vin proposé pas terrible et trop cher Enfermés dedans et des tables vides dehors. C’est dommage mais ils sont les seuls ouverts donc ils s’en foutent !

24/08/2024: Nous avons attendu plus d’un heure avant d’être servie. Commandé 2 salades de chèvre chaud , le chèvre n’était pas bon et pas chaud et il n’y avait que de la salade pour plus de 17€ c’est abusé . La salade fraîcheur a presque 19€ avec 3 bout de melon et pareil que de la salade . Passez votre chemin , il y a moins cher et meilleur pas très loin ….

23/08/2024: Très bon accueil, equipe très souriante et dynamique, bravo! Un grd merci à Cassandre pr son sourire , sa proximité et sa gentillesse. Et un coup de chapeau à Nelly en cuisine qui a assuré un max avec tt ce monde! Nous reviendrons bien évidemment 😊
