15/12/2025: December 14, 2025. I still missed the waiter who constantly teases you because you only had €10 in cash. I've never seen anything like that in any of the refuges I've been to. Not noticing the signs at the start of the trail that said "no credit/debit cards accepted," we asked if we could order something to split for that amount. (Which, incidentally, was available: polenta with butter and parmesan cheese.) From there, the first jokes (ignored) began, with a refrain of "I'll take care of it, we'll see, we can work something out." He sat us down and shortly after, without saying anything, brought some plates. From there, a constant sneering and banter that made us feel less uncomfortable than more, almost like we were begging. "What's life like for the poor?" "Who washes the dishes between the two of us?" All this in front of the other tables. In the end, it turned out we could pay with Satispay (even though we'd already asked for it before, but they refused because they said there was no signal. In fact, the Wi-Fi worked right away). The best part was that we could have easily ordered an appetizer, main course, dessert, and coffee, thus spending triple the amount, but instead they chose to constantly mock two customers who wanted to come back another time and spend much more, just to thank what seemed like a genuine kindness. Unfortunately, it was kindness disguised as rudeness, because, aside from the constant teasing, if you tell you we only have €10, let us sit down, and then bring us a €16 dish, then you're really acting in bad faith. I didn't want to raise my voice at that point because I was already too embarrassed to say, "Here's the agreed-upon €10, let him add the €6." So, thank goodness, Satispay was available. And since I'm not dishonest, I paid what was due. Evidently you hadn't spoken. So, another tease. Anyway, all it took for me to hear the waitress say "Enough, Dad," after more constant banter before payment, was for me to realize there was already some discomfort here. You tried to get too familiar, you teased me the whole time, you gave a clear lesson in how to treat customers in front of relatives, and now you've caused the (albeit beautiful) refuge where you work to get a negative review. My sincere compliments.

13/03/2026: 03/2026 A little disappointed, the escalope was dry and sinewy, pasta was well cooked. Otherwise, the pizzas are still very good. 02/2025 Always very good, fast service even when it's busy, the pizzas are excellent, but I have a soft spot for the lasagna ;) 10/2022 Pleasant and friendly welcome, the staff is attentive and the food is fresh and excellent. I recommend it.

19/02/2026: I went for the "super cheap" €15 set menu and honestly, I felt quite ripped off. They don't tell you that they then charge you €6 for a bottle of water, and in the end, the bill is much higher than it initially seems. Also, the food took ages to arrive, and when it finally did, the quality was quite disappointing. Nothing special, and certainly not worth what you end up paying. There are much cheaper places in the same area, with better service, and where water costs no more than €2. I absolutely do not recommend it.

11/01/2026: The pizzas at Chaud Time are truly delicious. You can immediately tell that the ingredients are top-quality, fresh, and expertly prepared. The pizzas are generous and flavorful. Plus, the staff is friendly and welcoming. I have absolutely no complaints and highly recommend it.

27/03/2026: Pizza Chic is most definitely the best take away in the Rhondda. The pizzas are to die for; the fries are always perfectly cooked, the kebabs are just so tasty and not greasy like other kebab places. Pizza chic have nailed it and the attention to detail really shows in the taste of the food. The sauces are just amazing (to the point I wish I could buy them by the bottle). The prices are so reasonable and Pizza Chic offer the most generous portions which this day and age you don’t get much for your £. Although here you will and won’t be disappointed. Love this place and this is our go to take away. Pam you have smashed it out the park and just when you think it doesn’t get any better, you keep smashing it. Thank-you for the best food and always looking after us, keep the good food coming Pizza Chic!

29/11/2025: A very warm welcome followed by a friendly and constructive discussion about the ingredients in the breads and pastries. My friend and I took the opportunity to enjoy our afternoon snack in the lounge area, which is part of the establishment. The service was impeccable, and the baker was very helpful. I highly recommend this place; believe me, you won't regret it.

04/03/2026: I went to this pizzeria with my partner. The atmosphere seemed nice, and we received a warm welcome. The thing is, they were initially out of spicy salami, and I wanted a calzone with that meat—I can't remember the exact name. They informed me after taking my order, coming back 10 minutes later to ask what I would like as a replacement. I ordered a four-cheese pizza. Again, they were out of blue cheese. The waiter told me they would replace it with scarmozzarella. I said okay. Once the pizza arrived, I tasted it and noticed an amount of cheese I'd never seen before. It was four or five times the thickness of the crust! 🤣 And in the end, all I could taste was one cheese that was incredibly rubbery. My partner asked, "What cheeses are in it?" It turns out there was ALREADY scarmozzarella, so they added a double amount plus mozzarella and some kind of gouda, from what I gathered (which I couldn't taste at all). Honestly, I couldn't even eat half the pizza. I let them clear the table, paid, and we left without any fuss. But it really wasn't good, sorry. Have a good day.
