The dishes were delicious, and a special mention goes to the floating island dessert 😍 It was divine! The staff was efficient and very welcoming. We will definitely return during our next vacation in the Vosges Mountains.

29/04/2026: Don't be fooled by the location or the exterior. A little slice of Italy awaits you once you step inside. The pizza dough tasted like real pizza dough, and the glass of Tornamagno was a delightful discovery. The service and friendliness were top-notch.

19/04/2026: Absolutely loved our evening here. We contacted them via Facebook a week or so beforehand and whilst they don't normally allow reservations to be made this way, they made an exception as my spoken French isn't great. Wonderful authentic atmosphere, very friendly staff and chef / owner and the food was simply amazing. Great wine choices too. We liked it so much we tried to come back 2 days later for another visit but alas they were full.. Next time we're in Calais, we'll definitely be coming back!

The value for money is excellent, the portions are hearty, and the service is quick and friendly. You can taste the passion and dedication behind every dish. Whether you eat in or take away, you're guaranteed a delicious meal every time. I highly recommend it!

25/01/2026: My go-to spot near home. A great selection of pizzas, and they're all delicious. This pizzeria offers Lambrusco, not just Prosecco, when you're looking for sparkling wine. The only downside is that it's a bit noisy, but the excellent service more than makes up for it.

22/01/2026: Outstanding value for money for perfectly cooked and generously topped Margherita pizzas to go, for only €8 each. A real treat. A great find. I'll be ordering the same for my grandchildren next week. Well done, La Sonata!

05/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Their white sangria is amazing, and their cocktail of the day was well-made. We ordered a pizza, which was very good (the one with chorizo), and the octopus was excellent, especially the garnish. The Caesar salad was decent. The kidneys were tasty but a bit heavy, as there was too much of them considering the small amount of garnish. The desserts were very good. The service was excellent. I recommend this establishment.
