You can tell from everything that work is done with passion here. We chose a pasta, and it was truly delicious—perfectly seasoned, fresh, and prepared with care. 02/05/2026: We are tourists for a few days here... We came to eat at this small and chic pizzeria to try it! I want to write to you that I ate pasta carbonara with my family, pasta with chicken, Margherita pizza, Calzone pizza and rustica pizza. All were very, very tasty and fresh. Pizza with Nutella and tiramisu I ordered for dessert. And the dessert was wonderful! The service was very fast. We recommend with all confidence that everything was superlative. We are tourists and we got the location from google.

08/05/2026: The food is truly incredible — full of flavor and clearly made with care. The value for money in terms of quality and portion size is excellent, and the drinks were also very good. However, the service was quite disappointing, which is why I’m taking off two stars. First, they got my drink wrong. They did remake it, but insisted I was mistaken — which is frustrating, especially since I can clearly tell the difference between cow’s milk and oat milk (it’s literally my job). We also weren’t told “enjoy your meal,” which, while a small detail, still matters. To top it off, another customer left after waiting 10 minutes without anyone taking her order, even though three staff members were standing behind the counter chatting instead of attending to her. It’s a real shame the service doesn’t match the quality of the food.

We ordered an unusual salad of whelks, broad beans, and zucchini as a starter. The waitress came back to tell us there was a problem with the whelks. We eventually realized they weren't fresh. A replacement was offered: calamari. Less original, but more importantly, it seemed like it had come straight from the freezer. Everything arrived so peppery it was practically inedible. The same scenario played out: the pasta that followed was far too peppery, tagliatelle that clearly wasn't homemade (I lived in Italy, I know what I'm talking about). In short, 167 euros for bad starters and pasta. I definitely recommend the Romantica Caffè next door to Penati al Barretto: half the price and twice as good!
