We went there on Monday lunchtime and we were so impressed. well received, the lunch with northern specialties was excellent, and therefore we highly recommend this bistro, Thanks again to the whole small team, it was a pleasure the “Bretons”

30/03/2024: A delight ! Very warm welcome in an estaminet setting. Divine Flemish stew and equally excellent American fillet. Served generously and quickly. Room a bit small and noisy when there are people, but it's difficult to push the walls :-) We've been here several times already and it's our favorite restaurant. You can go there with your eyes closed. Remember to book!

22/03/2024: La Vieille Assiette is exactly everything an estaminet should be. The dishes are really excellent (we tasted the welsh, the chti burger, the carbonnade, the Marengo veal, the pork cheek) and were unanimously appreciated by the table. The welcome and service are friendly and pleasant, and the decor is typical without being "too much". We feel really good: at home if we come from the region, and welcomed if we discover it. We leave in a good mood and with a full stomach. Thank you, we will come back, for sure! Edit: We've come back plenty of times and we'll come back again.

25/03/2024: Great time spent at a smoking burger!!!! The burgers are excellent, the fries are excellent, the desserts are also very good. The quality/price ratio is reasonable. The service is quite fast and there is a good atmosphere and good attentiveness from the employees. Being a person with a disability, it's not always easy to find a place to park near a smoking burger!!! I highly recommend this place and I will come back with great pleasure!!!

04/03/2024: Best spicy 🍔 ever: “Sparta” and its delicious ingredients, in a 🌶️ version. Too good, at a very reasonable price for a hamburger. In the kitchen, they deliver, and the service is efficient. A fast food, but with little onions 👌. Very good experience. Only the local, when savored on site, is a little impersonal, but that does not detract from the cuisine or the service.

04/04/2024: Following their recent nomination as the best donut in France, I went there to taste one of their creations. The menu had just been updated: combinations of flavors designed to suit all tastes. Exit the American donut soaked in fat & the industrial one, La Maison Du Donut works its homemade product with local materials, in a short circuit & produces a successful pastry: cooked donut to perfection, garnished with a cloud of creamy vanilla mousse, filled with assorted & creamy banana/salted caramel (while I'm writing this review I'm thinking that I should have gotten a second one). Well done & thank you to the team for introducing us to these flavors ⭐ Terrace on the ground floor in addition to the room. ♿ accessible. Parking less than 200m away.
