21/04/2026: We received a warm welcome at McDonald's, as we were with students from a special education school. We were given a private room upstairs. The staff was extremely responsive and friendly.

29/04/2026: My first time at La Fame was when I was 7 years old; I'm 59 now, and it's a place that brings back so many memories. But it's the brasserie that you absolutely mustn't miss if you want to enjoy delicious homemade fries. My recommendation: bavette steak or andouillette sausage with fries 😋👍 Thanks to the owner for the excellent Irish Coffee 🔥

04/05/2026: It's okay for a quick stop, but too expensive for what it is. We arrived at 3:15 PM and had to wait until 5:00 PM to get into the room. No staff were there until 5:00 PM. However, the room and the hotel were clean, except I got red rashes because I washed with the showerhead I'd quickly cleaned because it was all moldy 😱. The insulation is poor; you have to wait for everything. But I stayed for one night as a temporary solution. Also, be careful with the electrical outlets.

20/03/2026: The setting is beautiful, and the staff is welcoming. A cloakroom service is available, which is always a nice touch! We weren't disappointed with the food, and the service was very professional. However, a company seminar was taking place nearby… It's a shame these people didn't know how to behave and were making an unimaginable amount of noise! I would recommend it provided no company is present.

20/10/2025: Yesterday, I tasted their galette, which could rival a modern sculpture: sparsely filled, but cleverly minimalist. Today, I am the hero of a horror movie remake, version 'Diarrhée Express'! All this, for a bill that would make a Michelin-starred chef pale. My intestines have decided to put on their own concert, and I can assure you that it is not Mozart. If you are looking for a taste experience at a golden price, with the bonus of a fireworks-like intestinal spectacle, go for it! Otherwise, keep your wallet closed and your stomach alert!

19/10/2025: I see just below that we have the same vision as frozen food, whether it's a steak spit, everything is already not great in terms of quality, but then with the price it's excessive, and yes, a cold sandwich at 6 euros for something in a tray bought in Wazemmes, no thanks, at this level you have to change jobs.

19/04/2026: The staff were unpleasant on Sunday evening, April 19th. They practically told us to get lost. Furthermore, they added unnecessary extra charges. One thing is for sure, I won't be back.

19/04/2026: If you enjoy feeling out of place, this is the place for you. The welcome was icy. Special mention goes to the surgical precision of the service: not a single piece of chicken protruded from the spoon! Even the vegetables seemed to be rationed, as if there were a shortage. Frankly, the atmosphere was so oppressive that I'd rather visit a prison. Avoid at all costs.

26/03/2026: A very friendly, family-run restaurant. The atmosphere is peaceful, and the welcome is warm. The menu is extensive, and the value for money is excellent. Enjoy a variety of Asian flavors.

03/10/2025: This place is currently closed due to a fire burning down the building on the 26th September. I don't forsee this reopening soon

19/09/2025: The food was mediocre, not quite warm. A "mistake" at checkout: I overpaid by 20 euros. The receipt wasn't included. After asking, I got my money back.
