02/07/2026: A stylish and comfortable hotel with an excellent restaurant and an atmospheric bar. Easy paid parking out front, which isn't too expensive and is free between 1900 and 0700. It's also close to the railway station. The menu and wine list were superb and very good value given the quality of both. Service was friendly and professional at all times. Breakfast was a bit sparse, but that is optional.

16/07/2026: I absolutely do not recommend it! I went there on July 13th and ordered a hamburger. There was a wasp inside the bun, and I got stung on the lip! I called to report the problem, but all they did was laugh in my face. Luckily, I didn't swallow it; I could have died!

27/06/2026: Excellent chip shop, lots of choice, very good and well served. And you can also eat at the bar next door, Afterwork, which is also excellent.

31/08/2026: Delicious kebab ready in 5 minutes or less, I'm always impressed, even for several people. Great kebab, the staff are very friendly and smiling. And the price is affordable; two meals cost less than 20 euros.

30/05/2026: We usually order from the shop, but we've noticed that the spring rolls increasingly contain fewer and fewer shrimp, or they're cut in half, and much less mint inside. It's not the first time my wife and I have mentioned this. Please pay attention next time... a disappointed customer, which is a shame.

19/05/2026: Excellent hotel in a great location. I live here and come often; I feel right at home, warmly welcomed and comfortable.

17/05/2026: A small, basic hotel, not too expensive, with parking. The rooms could use some updating, but they are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is comprehensive. The staff is welcoming. Perfectly adequate for a short stay.

So you prefer to pocket the money rather than satisfy a customer… I mentioned it twice, and at first I was ignored, then I was apologized for. It's a shame.

08/09/2026: We came this Saturday during the street fair and were quite disappointed with our meal. I ordered mussels, but half of them were either closed or broken. I asked a waitress if it was possible to fix this, and she told me it wasn't her responsibility and she didn't have time, in a rather unpleasant tone. She didn't even bother to speak to a colleague who could take care of it. I understand the rush, which was only moderate since it was already 2:30 or 3:00 PM, but for €18.50 for a plate of mussels, they should at least show some respect for the customer.

06/09/2026: A wonderful experience at Le Président restaurant in Lille! The service was excellent, with a special mention for Perrine, a very friendly, smiling, and pleasant waitress. Thank you for the warm welcome, I highly recommend it!

08/08/2026: My daughter went to get four takeaway meals for me. It was a kebab, salad, and onion meal, but since I'm allergic to tomatoes, my kebab ended up with all the raw vegetables. I called the owner and asked him to deliver the salad and onion kebab properly to make up for this mistake. He told me it was up to me to come and get it, and he was incredibly arrogant. My wife told me I didn't have enough staff, but I said that wasn't my problem. He wouldn't listen. My wife and two daughters showed me the quality of the meat, which was a disaster. You should really avoid this place; the meat is extremely suspicious.

12/09/2026: The fairground customers should be treated fairly. Displaying a non-existent daily special on the chalkboard is unacceptable! For example, yesterday, September 10th, the daily special was duck confit, which we couldn't order... And today, it's either tripe à la mode de Caen or beef bourguignon, same thing. Yet, neither last night nor tonight did we order late, and looking around, no one else had the daily special. The daily special is only listed on the chalkboard, and they make us order from the small menu! Next year, I'll order couscous two or four times, which will be a decent portion on the side... Not to mention the two scoops of ice cream at €8.50 for dessert... In short, the dishes at the brasserie are just... well, you know. They were good, but not very generous. But I repeat, the daily special is only on the chalkboard. Not actually in the kitchen! What a shame. I'm giving 3 stars for everything else because the staff do their job. Thanks to Lisa last night for making us laugh. Thanks to the young lady tonight for her welcome and service. As for the rest, well, I won't be back. Having seen it two nights in a row! And the daily special is nonexistent. You have to hurry to eat and pay too...

07/09/2026: Douai Trade Fair... We chose Arthur... The Flemish Carbonnade was decent... However, the mussels and fries... marinière... 20 euros for a barely filled pot... The "mussel" broth... no onions, celery, etc... it tasted like dishwater! 70 euros for a beer, a sparkling kir, a carbonnade, and a mussel... 3.50 euros for 50 cl of sparkling water and... pfufff!!! Shameful!!
