07/05/2026: We're in a 3-star hotel?!
The rooms have been renovated, but not the toilets, which are covered in limescale. The walls aren't either; you can clearly hear what's going on in the neighboring rooms.
The new heating system is very noisy for the rooms located at the entrance to the parking lot.
Luckily, the receptionist is helpful.
But it's not worth 3 stars.
05/04/2026: Following my two-night stay at your hotel in Lille, my experience is mixed.
The welcome was very pleasant, the room comfortable and well-lit with a comfortable bed, and the breakfast excellent with a wide variety of products.
My main complaint concerns the soundproofing of the rooms (although you are not responsible for the noise from our neighbors' amorous activities lasting nearly four hours). It's less of an issue with the clicking noises I heard all night, every 1 to 1.5 minutes, which were extremely unpleasant and kept me awake.
I don't think I'll be returning to such a high-quality establishment, despite my many nights spent in hotels for work.

14/03/2026: Kids' menu: no toys, not a single candy... Kebab plate: no wheat, fries were bone white, just salad and tomato in a white compartment with two or three pieces of carrot. Really disappointed for the price.

13/02/2026: Even though it's cheap and the chef is nice, it's really bland. It must be due to the ingredients, especially the bacon (which isn't real pork bacon, by the way) and the mozzarella.

17/04/2026: Worst Domino ever! A one-hour wait, then I finally called and was told I'd ordered my pizza to go, even though I had to spell out my address 🤣🤣 That's the limit!
The worst part is that the guy on the phone still sent me another pizza after 30 minutes, even though I told him I didn't want any more.
What a waste of your time and money! Change your employees!

23/03/2026: I booked a night at this hotel before reading the Google reviews, which had worried me a bit. So I took the time to share my concerns with the hotel before my arrival, and I really appreciated their attentiveness and understanding.
In the end, I was pleasantly surprised: the room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I expected. The staff were also welcoming and professional throughout my stay. A great experience for me—I'll keep the address in mind if I'm ever back in Douai!

15/04/2026: Convenient dining, whether you're eating alone or with family. Because of the high volume of customers, don't expect haute cuisine, but it offers good value for money and a good selection. The self-service menu has been simplified, and the payment process is very streamlined (you can only pay by card).

03/05/2026: We regularly stop here during our travels and enjoy making a stopover. We especially appreciate staying overnight in the castle; the ambiance is truly special. The restaurant is also consistently impressive: a small but excellent menu with select dishes. The service is always attentive, friendly, and professional. The food is superb and perfectly complements the stay. We always look forward to returning.

The McDonald's in Villeneuve-d'Ascq is impeccably clean, which is truly worth highlighting. The floral decorations add a pleasant and elegant touch, which is very much appreciated.
The staff is friendly, efficient, and professional. Frankly, it's a welcome change from some McDonald's in the Paris region… The difference is striking!
The chain really should take these quality discrepancies into account. Well done to the whole team for this beautiful McDonald's!

24/03/2026: Order placed via Deliveroo.
Half the sandwich arrived defective, with an incoherent mix of sauces and ingredients added for no reason: olives, pickles, and especially corn, despite a severe allergy.
When contacted by their shop, the customer's word was immediately questioned, and photos provided as evidence were ignored.
No responsibility was taken, no compensation offered. The only suggestion was to "contact Deliveroo."
A cold, irresponsible, and potentially dangerous way of handling the problem. Nothing more to add.
13/03/2026: This delivery (Deliveroo) was a disaster. The order arrived cold, the portions were ridiculously small (barely three pieces of chicken), and there was practically no cheese—you couldn't even see it.
In the end, it looked more like a salad sandwich than what I ordered. It's very disappointing considering the price and the expected quality.
