09/11/2024: Great host who was very accommodating despite the closure of the hostel which was scheduled before our weekend. The restaurant part was closed, but Olivier generously prepared and offered us a little royal meal for my partner and me... Thank you very much!

04/11/2024: Nous avons mangé à ce restaurant qui était un des seuls ouvert en novembre. Nous avons prit le menu à 24€, pas trop mal. Je n’ai quasiment pas eu de viande dans mon axoa, trop dommage .. entrée copieuse. Serveur agréable !

22/09/2024: We visited here twice. We liked the shrimp and croquettes so much the first night that we decided to go back. At first we made a mistake with the wine, but then a nice waitress suggested a more appropriate one, and it was really great. The grilled octopus was also good. Even though we had not reserved a table, we were found seats in an almost full restaurant.

15/09/2024: We went to this restaurant to taste tapas. Once we arrive we realize that the prices are exorbitant. We just ordered the crispy prawns and the pan con tomato. The prawns for €14 were actually 6 shrimps with mayonnaise. And the pan con tomate bread was so dry that we couldn’t eat it. In short, the rest may be good but we preferred to stop our meal after this experience!

15/12/2024: I went to this hotel through a weekendesk gift Pleasant and welcoming staff But a real lack of clarity in their explanations: they do not check your file and do not take the gift into account to such an extent that when we left they wanted to invoice us for the sum of €171. I asked them if it was normal even though it was basically a gift. So the reception staff started to check, a controller arrived even though I hadn't noticed that they had called. In the end I only had to pay €23.50. Really disappointed with this attitude, it's not worthy of a 5 star.

15/11/2025: A real gem for our first visit to Saint Jean Pied de Port! Despite being very busy, the welcome was friendly and warm, the service quick and cheerful, and the dishes delicious and seasonal. The wood pigeon salmis, for example, was to die for… Excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

Les hamburgers sont bons, la salle agréable, le serveur sympathique, la playlist bien choisie...que demander de plus...une vue mer peut-être ?... nous l'avions !!... choisissez la table de 2 au fond de la salle... On recommande cette adresse, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

07/12/2025: Irish coffee blended, they don't know how to make it, at €12. An outrageously expensive coffee bill. A tiny and filthy bathroom for all the customers they have and considering how much they charge. The crepes are completely cold; they're not made fresh, they're reheated.

30/11/2025: I ordered a Sex on the Beach Virgin and a revisited tiramisu with red berries; it was great, and the waiter was very attentive.
