Returning 5 years later (August 2026) to the Del Arte in Anglet, there's a slight improvement; the products are still frozen (the Milanese veal cutlet has a hard breading) and the other dish (Tuscan salmon) is still frozen. Impeccable customer service.

11/09/2026: Amazing service. My son visited two nights before and had a great time but unfortunately was accidentally overcharged. He was too shy to do anything. As a principled (interfering ?) mother I went there two days later and explained the situation. They kindly refunded the accidental €14 overcharge. I was very impressed with the staff who listened to me. And, apart from the initial glitch, my son said it was a fab bar with a great atmosphere.

08/08/2026: Hello We didn't stay at this hotel, but we ate there twice. Our gîte (self-catering accommodation) is located not far away in Ainhoa, about 2 km away. We were recommended by our hosts. A truly wonderful place where we ate very, very well, and especially homemade food. The specialty is paella made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. A very good menu. (The homemade trout fillet platter. The platter of Basque ham and pâté made with pork raised on their farm. The baby squid and homemade fries. The lamb was excellent. The albacore tuna salad was a delight.) This Logis restaurant is truly recommended; a wonderful discovery in the Basque Country and near the Spanish border. The owner is very pleasant, as are the waitresses, and my mother-in-law is always behind the bar—a truly lovely place. Thank you very much. See you soon. 07/09/2026: Honestly, I love Kalostrape! It's the first restaurant I've recommended to my friends. I'm leaving this review with the intention of improving the place, because on our last visit we were really disappointed… I hope the managers, or I believe AEK, will take action! What's going on? It took us 45 minutes to get the menu (the menu was on the table). The service was interminable… we arrived at noon, paid at 3:30 PM, without even being able to order dessert… A friend had an hour and a half to eat because she had to go back to work afterward. Finally, since we still hadn't received the menu after 45 minutes… we asked a waiter what we could get for her in 45 minutes. They started telling us it wouldn't be possible, but when we insisted that we could get a main course in an hour and a half, they finally managed to get her some tapas in time! Thank you for her… even though she was disappointed by the quality of the tapas… it’s usually much better… For my part, the meal with the set menu was good, simple local produce, and effective! Very good value for money! So, we arrived to pay 3.5 hours later without having been able to order the desserts from our set menus. They made a mess of things to remove the price of the desserts from the menu… or rather, none of the dishes listed on the order form corresponded to reality. Well, we trusted them, and you can trust them too; the price corresponded to the set menu minus the desserts, approximately. Honestly, having to make such a mess of things… at the bar, at the till, he seemed completely lost and a bit out of it. As for the service, I got the impression that nobody cared! I don't recognize Kalostrape! And I'm leaving this comment because other acquaintances told me that something similar happened recently, especially at the Bayonne Festival. I truly hope you will find a united team again, one that takes what it does to heart! And efficient! Like I knew it!

Even though we ordered salads, this one was truly outstanding, with delicious croquettes as an appetizer. The service was perfect, quick, and efficient, and the waitstaff were very pleasant. Bravo! I highly recommend it.
