Impeccable service, a spacious and well-appointed room, and absolute peace and quiet. Although somewhat dated, this hotel easily ticks all the boxes for a great stay for couples or families.

31/01/2026: It's more of a gourmet experience. Expensive for dishes that are beautiful and tasty, but there are a lot of "buts." The welcome was cold, the atmosphere cold; you even feel like you're being spied on. The dishes, when you walk into a so-called gourmet restaurant and pay €79 for the three-course meal, are disappointing. The pairings aren't up to par, and the aperitifs are served late, so you end up drinking your spritz with the hors d'oeuvres. It's too much of a struggle to find alternatives for allergies that were already mentioned when we made the reservation. And we're still waiting for our coffee, which must have been charged when we did the math back at the car... what a shame.

10/11/2025: November 2025: I regret to inform you that not only has it closed, but both the building and the terrace have disappeared—a real shame because, for me, it was a gem. **A must-visit in Anglet to enjoy the sea, the atmosphere, and the good vibes.** Lagunak is much more than a beach bar: it's a magical place where every visit becomes a special moment. The location is unbeatable, right on the oceanfront, ideal for watching the sunset with a glass of wine or a cold beer. The atmosphere is relaxed, with a charming mix of locals, surfers, and travelers who create a truly authentic energy. The menu offers tasty options, generous burgers, and fresh choices like salads and poké bowls. All at reasonable prices, especially considering the setting. The service is friendly and efficient, always with a smile. Keep in mind that, for example, the entire sandwich and burger menu is only available at lunchtime; at dinnertime, only appetizers or tapas are available. I don't recommend the crepe, but I do recommend the waffle with Nutella and Chantilly cream.

The food was delicious and the portions generous, the waitress was very pleasant and smiling, and you can tell she loves her job and her customers. This little country restaurant has a wonderful charm. I really love its rustic and charming feel with its pebbles. I love the intimate atmosphere. In short, everything was perfect! My friends were delighted. I would gladly return. Oh, I almost forgot, THANK YOU for the marshmallow bears—I loved them! If you want to have a good time in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere, this is the place to go. Thank you to them.
