13/05/2026: Hello, I am not a customer of yours, but last night, Wednesday, May 13th, around 1:20 a.m., while I was simply filling up my car at the gas station right behind your establishment, frozen steaks were thrown from the back door of McDonald's, right next to my car and me. This behavior is completely disrespectful, especially towards the food itself. I don't know if it was a silly game or a deliberate act to provoke, but this kind of attitude from an employee is unacceptable. Luckily, I remained calm, because this type of behavior could easily have led to an unnecessary altercation. It would therefore be necessary to seriously remind your staff of the basic rules of respect and courtesy, especially when they are working the night shift.

10/05/2026: I placed a small order (€15) and received items that were missing. The restaurant is unreachable. There are always problems at this one.

28/02/2026: Hello, we chose the €31 set menu with foie gras and chicken in a pot. The foie gras was of poor quality, probably a budget option. As for the chicken in a pot, it wasn't a real chicken in a pot at all, but rather a chicken boiled in a pot of water. It had no flavor and lacked tomato sauce. 🍅... It's a shame that the restaurant Chez Oliver next door is closed, or perhaps the former owners of the Henri IV could show them how to make it properly. Unfortunately, there are very few restaurants left where you can enjoy a good chicken in a pot, and you have to go a bit further from the château. The dessert was satisfactory.

13/05/2026: A fantastic stop on the Camino de Santiago! I received a very warm welcome at the Denena hostel. The room was comfortable, with a lovely little terrace and even a hammock, perfect for relaxing after a walk. The meal tray they offered (since the restaurant is closed on Tuesday evenings) was an excellent and much-appreciated idea. A big thank you to the owners for their kindness and hospitality. I highly recommend it and will gladly return! Marion

09/05/2026: I'm increasingly disappointed with this McDonald's. The service is getting slower and slower, even though I'm the only customer. My order arrived, but my ice cream had already melted before I even ate it, and the fries weren't hot. Frankly, I'm not sure I'll be back.

26/04/2026: My wife, Etchegoyen, took me to Pantxua in our youth, and I returned on a pilgrimage! Working for a two-Michelin-starred restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the fish and, above all, the presentation of the dishes, from the seafood platter to the dessert. Furthermore, the staff offers excellent advice on the dishes and wine pairings. In short, you can have lunch on the terrace, just 100 meters from the port of Socoa, at a very reasonable price considering the quality of the ingredients. I was also amazed by the number of long-time regulars who frequent the restaurant. I highly recommend this restaurant; I will definitely return one evening with friends.

10/04/2026: A very disappointing family dinner... A plate of baby squid, 100 grams barely scraping by on my far too large plate, and a portion of fries—get this—14, no more! Yes, I counted them, it was so unbelievable! All this for the modest sum of 24 euros! The manager came and raised her voice; I'm a restaurant owner myself and I can't believe it... Anyway, there are plenty of other restaurants around here that won't treat you like an idiot!

03/05/2026: The servers were slow and confused with the orders, the food was served cold, and we waited an hour before being served.

25/04/2026: Very bad service. The McDonald's white croque monsieur and McFlurry were plain M&Ms, there were hardly any M&Ms. It's not good at all.

09/05/2026: A 40-minute wait to be acknowledged, then another 20 minutes for our order to be taken. The server only took our drinks because the hot food would arrive later, only for them to stop serving hot food 5 minutes later when we wanted to order.
