17/08/2026: A review in two parts: °°°° The price/quantity ratio Completely overpriced, which ruins the experience of a pleasant place with a magnificent sea view! To give you a quick example: - 5 scallops (plain, vaguely with parsley butter, just seared on the griddle, no, not a single salad, just 5 scallops in their shells thrown onto your plate) => €14 - 3 prawns (shrimp... yeah... well, I think size 8/12...) cut in half and fried in a bath of oil with 6 small new potatoes, not ratte potatoes, and 2 cherry tomatoes... => €34. Okay, the view is nice... but if the plate were full, that would be good too... even better. Leaving the table with a €48 bill and still hungry... well... that's a shame. It's a real shame, the products are good quality, they are expensive, that's a fact, but this... it's just not good enough! You may or may not appreciate the restroom (or toilet) with its colonial African masks on a black background... in extremely poor taste!

08/09/2026: As a huge sushi fan, I have to say that Kanpaï is unbeatable in this regard. The ingredients are fresh and high-quality. The taste is unique! Add to that the beautiful decor, the music, and the service, and everything is perfect. Thank you.

31/08/2026: The restaurant was very clean and the waitresses were very pleasant and polite. The dishes served were delicious and the raw fish was of excellent quality; it melted in your mouth. I recommend this restaurant.

08/08/2026: We chose DML Catering for our wedding and we were absolutely delighted with their service! David and Marina guided and advised us throughout the menu planning process. Everything went very smoothly before, during, and after the wedding. Their professionalism greatly contributed to the success of our wedding; not only were the dishes delicious, but their organization and the pace of service were also outstanding! 03/08/2026: We used this caterer for our wedding and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The food was delicious, of high quality, and a hit with all our guests. Everything was beautifully presented and the ingredients were excellent. A huge thank you also to the service team, and especially to the servers, who were remarkably professional: efficient, friendly, discreet, and always attentive to the smooth running of the evening. 19/08/2026: This place was so good. We stopped here on our way to Canfranc for lunch and had one of the best meals on our trip. Highly recommended the duck and steak and homemade pies. Service was awesome and it’s the perfect combo of historic and modern atmosphere.

13/08/2026: 🤌🤌🤌We called at 8:30 pm for a reservation for 3 people at 8:45 pm and were given a table on the terrace as requested, with a very warm welcome from the staff. The dishes were excellent, the meat in my burger with foie gras was cooked perfectly, yum!! 😋 It was served with fries and a small salad. We were very satisfied. 👌 My partner and daughter loved their pizzas, which had a very thin crust and were apparently excellent. He had a generous amount of duck breast, and she had the ham cooked in a cloth, which was really great! 🤗 Honestly, we all loved our time there, from the ambiance and the staff to the food. We were just passing through Orthez and this is definitely a favorite spot here. Thank you to our waitress and the chef. Everyone took excellent care of us. 🤌🤌🤌

02/07/2026: I really enjoyed my salad, it was delicious! It had duck breast and gizzards. My son had a kebab pizza and loved it. I even tried it myself, and wow, the crust was amazing! Probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had ❤️ I've lived in Orthez for over 10 years, why didn't I go there sooner??? I'll definitely be back, and a big thank you to the chef. The waitresses are very kind and friendly. And the service was very fast! Absolutely fantastic! 🤩🤩🤩

13/12/2025: We arrived as a group and received a warm welcome. We enjoyed lasagna and quiche Lorraine. The food was homemade, and the desserts were delicious. I thank the staff and the owner for their hospitality and kindness.

12/07/2026: Having stayed there for a short week on a group holiday, I loved my time at this hotel: incredibly friendly staff and a family atmosphere, delicious and generous meals, a wide variety of choices at breakfast, a lovely pool, and a great location near major cities! And their guide, Sandrine, is truly amazing. The only slight downside is that not all rooms have air conditioning.
