17/12/2025: Walked past this place which from the outside just looked like a typical cafe. On asking a waiter we were invited into the bistro with our dog in tow. Made to feel very welcomed.. We had an excellent lunch consisting of fillet of beef, wine and a delicious pudding. What a find. This Bistro is very good. I would highly recommend a visit. 4/5 stars in my view.

07/12/2025: We didn't have a reservation and thought we wouldn't be able to eat in Navarrenx, but Le P'tit Bistrot was open. Tables were available on the terrace and in the indoor dining room. We opted for the latter and enjoyed a weekend set menu for €26 per person, which was excellent. Homemade, high-quality cuisine: fried baby squid and duck confit. For dessert, we had a cheese and brioche platter. The confit was exquisite, served with perfectly cooked vegetables—a wonderful contrast. The cheese was superb. The service was very friendly. The couple who served us spoke Spanish, which made communication much easier. The dining room was very quiet and welcoming. Highly recommended; we'll definitely be back.

14/01/2026: My partner and I ordered the platter for two, which included starters and four main courses. Everything was very good and plentiful; I recommend this restaurant.

17/09/2024: In the menu they have on the website it appears that they have gluten-free waffles, we went there specifically for that, and after waiting in a long line they told us that they didn't have them. What they do have are cones, but they don't look like they control cross contamination.

06/12/2025: To begin with, it took them 45 minutes to take our order. Another 30 minutes until they served our food. I ordered the suckling pig, €19.50 for a tiny piece. They must have thought I wasn't very hungry, because the guy at the next table ordered the same thing and got a normal-sized plate. My boyfriend ordered the ribeye steak, €21. Whether it was actually beef would have to be checked; it certainly didn't seem like it, and it was very tough. They cleared our plates but couldn't even take our dessert order. Another 20 minutes before we finally managed to order. Anyway, I don't recommend it.

05/12/2025: The food was excellent and delicious, the waitresses were very friendly and attentive. It was already closing time, but they still served us very quickly. I definitely recommend it.

28/11/2025: It was my first time eating there. I pass by several times a day, and this lunchtime I went with my colleagues and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was really simple, very good, and the price was more than reasonable. Thank you, and I hope to see you again very soon.

17/11/2025: Nice atmosphere, a visually appealing village restaurant. Not too long a wait, which is pleasant. The set menu is quite simple; it's not haute cuisine, but it's effective. They used to have a mushroom omelet and salad dressing, which I think is a shame they don't have anymore. However, the service really depends on the waitress. You either get yelled at or you get a smile. A little smile and a bit of joie de vivre are basic, aren't they, when you work in a restaurant? It's a shame to be afraid to ask for things when you're in a restaurant... a friendly piece of advice: make sure you treat your regular customers properly, because if you do, they'll come back!

03/07/2025: We had a wonderful time. The meal was truly delicious ❤️ The mussels marinière with homemade fries proved we'd made the right choice for the meal. And the desserts (which I forgot to take a picture of) confirmed it all. The tarte tatin for me and the Fontainebleau for my husband were generous, succulent, and comforting. We were charmed by the place too. Flawless ❤️

27/05/2025: Good restaurant, I think underrated. The dishes are well prepared, the decor is super nice, nothing to complain about... just saying it to get the good information across.

07/01/2026: A delight for the taste buds. It's always a pleasure to walk through the door of this shop. Between the warm welcome from the friendly team and the quality of the products, we've never been disappointed. Thank you.

30/12/2025: We tried the Anglet shop and were quite disappointed. The staff were very friendly and smiling, and the shop itself was attractively presented, which made us want to go in. Unfortunately, the products didn't live up to our expectations. We bought some white pudding, thinking it was a safe bet: a huge disappointment. It had a very watery texture, was bland, with almost no seasoning and little flavor, which was a real shame. The pâté en croûte was okay, but without any distinctive flavor or noticeable seasoning, even though we don't usually eat savory food. We also wanted to buy a Basque cake: the price displayed was €4.80, but we were then told it was actually €48 per kilo, which made us decide against it. In the end, the MOF (Meilleur Ouvrier de France) title had attracted us, but for €30 spent (5 white puddings and a slice of pâté en croûte), the value for money wasn't convincing. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

31/12/2024: Regular travelers and travelers in transit come together in this establishment of quality and simplicity. I stop there before each trip, for a last coffee or a quick lunch (count 10€50 for the daily special, always generous / they also make takeaway sandwiches, for travelers in a hurry). In short, I recommend it and even say thank you for existing. Without Le Station, the last moments at the station would be much colder and much less delicious!
