08/09/2026: Following a previous order that went wrong, I'm revising my negative review! The customer service was fantastic! The manager called me the next day and offered a service to apologize. I wasn't expecting that and was pleasantly surprised by the speed of the response. I thank the manager again and will gladly return as usual. Thank you!

04/09/2026: We ate on the terrace on the evening of September 3rd and received excellent service. I thank Julien and his team who were fantastic and made the evening very enjoyable. The sea bass fillet and its sauce were excellent, as was the Basque burger. I highly recommend this lovely place with a beautiful view.

04/09/2026: We've dined there three times. It's very good. The servers are exceptionally professional, always smiling and attentive to the customer. Well done! It's rare to find such a place... best of luck and many more customers to satisfy.

12/09/2026: Very friendly staff, we had a very good meal. The €26 set menu was more than reasonable, with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. A place to recommend. Perhaps the signage could be a little clearer. I would say it's good to know about this great place in this location.

18/05/2026: I'll give you my opinion, not on behalf of the group I was part of. Slight disappointment. I know the restaurant is located in the middle of the countryside, however, the three wet dogs wandering around the tables (along with the smell) might be part of the local tradition, but for me, it's a no-go; it's unacceptable in a restaurant. The desserts were sitting in the kitchen, uncovered, with flies taking full advantage... I liked the Garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew), perhaps too spicy (chili or pepper) for some. The confit was good but a bit dry, the gratin dauphinois was okay, and the crème brûlée was good, though I'm not sure it was homemade. Otherwise, the service was good, and the prices were reasonable for this type of restaurant. I recommend this place; with a few adjustments, it would be a good alternative to the Relais d'Aydie, which has closed permanently. We will return.

21/08/2026: I never go to bars or restaurants near train stations; they're rarely good, but the heavy rain left us no choice! And what a wonderful discovery! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a beautiful song performed by the owner's friends! We ate very well! The gazpacho was almost a main course, not just a starter! The baby squid was delicious, and the portions were generous! We had a lovely time before catching our train! Thank you!

16/08/2026: The two people at the bar were unpleasant. I politely asked them to refill my water bottle, in 30-degree heat, adding that it wasn't a problem if it bothered them. In short, if it's very hot and you need water in a pinch, be aware that they'll leave you to dry out on the side of the road. Just so you know (they did at least fill a small portion of my bottle).

15/04/2026: A superb spot for your evenings! The concept is brilliant: a rechargeable card lets you "draw" your choice of beer from the taps located throughout the bar. There's a wide selection of unique beers, with advice available if needed, and you're encouraged to move around the bar, fostering spontaneous conversations. The atmosphere is fantastic, with well-chosen decor and distinct zones. Add to that hot sauce challenges and original cocktails to set this bar apart. Is that all? No, the snack platters are exceptional...

22/08/2026: Everything was perfect: the weather, the setting, the service, and the food! Highly recommended if you're passing through Saint Jean Pied De Port, and don't forget to book if you want a seat on the terrace.

04/08/2026: We usually come to Sunset every summer. The staff is fantastic and always tries to find us a table despite the crowds. This year, however, we've noticed a drop in the quality of the burger, which has gone from delicious to just okay. Hopefully, this is just a one-off (August 29, 2026)...

29/07/2026: Before sitting down, we asked if we'd be getting drinks, and they said yes. We ordered two mojitos, and after five minutes they told us that if we didn't order food, they wouldn't serve us any cocktails. Only wine or cider.

06/07/2026: We arrived by chance because I was working in the area and I was struck by the kindness of the owner… A fantastic welcome, comfortable beds, and a convenient location (we had trucks). I'll definitely be back with my family, but not for work this time. Thank you 🙏
