12/06/2026: Amazing experience, the hotel allowed me to drop off my bag pre check-in, which allowed me to explore the beautiful city of Bayonne.
The receptionist Claire was extremely welcoming and accomodating.

23/01/2026: I stopped by Hendaye on my layover on my way from Paris to San Sebastian.
There's a wine shop at the front of the entrance and a wine bar at the back.
They have a wide selection of wines by the glass, as well as beer and liqueurs.
They also have a wide selection of tapas. The portions might be a little too much for one person.
There didn't seem to be an English menu, but the staff were happy to assist me in English.
They were very friendly and I felt at home.😊

The orange juice was good. The terrace is nice. The fact that credit cards aren't accepted below a certain amount is clearly displayed before ordering. But one waiter (unfortunately for me, the others seemed professional) was far too intrusive. He claimed he was joking. Personally, and I'm far from the only one who feels this way, I call it a series of completely inappropriate remarks and insistence.

28/05/2026: An ideal spot to enjoy a meal overlooking the beach in the shade of parasols. The pizzas are delicious, generously topped, and the crust is among the best I've ever had—particularly light and crispy with a wonderful flavor. I can't wait to return for another delicious treat!

05/07/2026: We made the reservation over the phone, asking if they spoke Spanish. Everything was fine, the crepes were very good, especially the sweet ones. They serve cold water without us having to ask...we did miss having a snack or something to go with the crepes, but everything was great. I had been there a few years ago, and we'll definitely be back. Oh, and they did give us a menu in Spanish, unlike some other reviews I've seen that didn't mention.

The service was also very pleasant.

09/01/2026: A warm and friendly welcome awaits you; the servers are smiling and approachable. The food is authentic and delicious. Finally, the atmosphere is pleasant and cheerful. It's best to book in advance, especially on Wednesdays and Fridays for the steak and fries!
