02/05/2026: After a somewhat mixed first visit in August 2024, we returned for a stay in Béarn. For me, Le Chalet is now the best restaurant in Salies, thanks to the quality of the ingredients, the superb decor, and the ambiance, which this time was a very pleasant and mellow concert – thank you Rosewoodcover! 😉 The owners are incredibly attentive, and it's clear they're invested in their establishment, as are their employees. I highly recommend it! 😊

22/06/2026: I can't judge the quality of this bar/tabac/brasserie since at 11:20 am they refused to serve us coffee, even though they had reserved the dining room and terrace (empty at that hour) for lunch.
11/04/2026: The food is quite good but the bathroom are very dirty and old. I hope they will make a renovation and keep the bathroom clean.

The daily specials were very good and generous (asparagus omelet and truffled ham galette).
The welcome was very pleasant and friendly.
07/04/2026: Nice place. Good, friendly service. Good crepes. I'm not giving it 5 stars because there are others nearby with better quality and offerings. But I would definitely return. The price is right.

15/06/2026: Three fantastic days in a beautiful place. The campsite is a delight—small and lovely. The pools are great, and above all, the staff are delightful.
11/06/2026: Lovely staff, pleasant campsite, good restaurant and pool. A bit quiet in June but nice place to stay.
If you’re renting a bike- note it’s a hilly area.
Lovely beaches nearby.
Ask about an airport transfer and you could skip hiring a car!

1 four-meat couscous
1 merguez couscous with double merguez sausage.
Frozen chicken, frozen lamb, all wrapped in foil with no regard for proper hygiene.
The photo speaks for itself.
And the man on the phone told us, "Sir, even if the chicken is 2 or 3 days old and has been in the fridge, it's fine."
Shameful.

02/07/2026: Excellent, homemade food. They have a daily special; in our case, it was Iberian pork with cheese sauce, potatoes, and salad. The waiter speaks Spanish. Don't miss the dessert; we tried the chocolate cake and an apple crepe—both delicious.
26/04/2026: A very warm welcome, delicious home-style cooking (Bayonne ham, homemade croquettes and baby squid, as well as a delicious chocolate dessert). A small, unassuming restaurant that's well worth a visit.

Great bar, great atmosphere, the cocktails are so well made that the alcohol took hold in my mind, then my stomach, and subsequently in its magnificent toilets, which I unfortunately clogged. The staff were fantastic from start to finish; they helped me unclog its majestic toilet without any hesitation! I even managed to get a blowjob from young Quentin. If you happen to be reading this, kisses. I'll definitely be back!!

They refused to sell cigarettes to a gay man, but sold them to a straight man (who then came to order for the gay man) three minutes later. We are outraged, what a disgrace!!!

07/07/2025: Very friendly little restaurant. From the €25 menu, I had mussels à la diva as a starter; excellent. However, the main course was squid. A huge surprise, really very little in the pan. Nothing to eat. And for dessert, a homemade tiramisu, which was also a real disappointment.
Otherwise, the waiters and waitresses were very decent.

We recommend this establishment, where we had a wonderful time. Thank you to the staff.
