27/01/2026: The food was decent, but not hearty and swimming in oil; the tables were crammed together; the prices were high…it's all about profitability.

14/08/2026: My boyfriend and I were looking for a bar/cafe where we could get a quick coffee and found this place. We walked to it and were greeted by a group of obnoxious guests who were friends of the owner and were having a private party. Instead of telling us politely the place was closed they were just making fun of us in French and would not tell us clearly what was happening even though they understood very well we weren’t understanding a word they were saying. The owner also was just laughing along until finally one person said in English the place was closed. Quite an unnecessarily rude interaction from their side.

14/08/2026: Returning six years later, nothing has changed, or rather, the owner must have trained his staff in his own image because the service is so bad. My 2020 TripAdvisor review is pictured. The food isn't worth the mistreatment, although it's better than it was six years ago.

20/05/2026: I ordered a custom cake for my daughter's birthday (10 people) and here's the result. Aesthetic: magnificent, perfect down to the smallest detail 👍👍 Taste: The request was for a strawberry cake with equal amounts of cake, cream, and strawberries. The result was far from perfect!!! 🤨 A cake with a pastis flavor, way too much cake, very dry, and completely unbalanced with the rest of the cake. Three strawberries barely standing at all… what a shame!! For the price paid, €100 or more, the cake was inedible. Huge disappointment!!! 👎👎👎 So, is it better to have a delicious cake that's perhaps less pretty, but certainly cheaper? Or a beautiful, expensive cake that's TERRIBLE 🤷‍♀️ Not to mention the complete lack of communication for ordering or receiving the cake… It's impossible to call. Only email exchanges, where replies can take several days.

09/08/2026: Very disappointed 😞 There were only three tables reserved, not even 20 people in total… We waited 45 minutes (our glass of white wine had plenty of time to get warm) to be served hake Spanish style… which, by the way, apparently had absolutely no garlic… Anyway, we asked for a decaf and were told they were out of it 😆😦 As for the price, it's really not cheap at all… over €40 per person is very expensive for what we ate. We won't be back… What a shame.

02/08/2026: Absolutely not recommended. Having made a reservation for 7 people at 9 pm, we arrived 5 minutes late. The owner informed us that he had "sold" the table and therefore forced us to go inside, even though we had reserved a table on the terrace. The extremely unpleasant owner told us he was at home and rudely asked us to wait.

22/08/2026: Nice little pub, always a pleasure to win at poker there and drink the best Bête Rouge beer 🤪 The evening tapas are fantastic, especially the roasted Camembert! Friendly staff, always open to conversation

26/07/2026: Excellent cuisine. Dishes prepared with local or regional produce. A chef's cuisine worth discovering. A homemade tiramisu with a twist that is absolutely divine. We appreciated the dogs (they were calm). To improve the table setting, I would suggest changing the round tabletops, as they overlap and if one moves, the one opposite is affected. I highly recommend it nonetheless.

24/08/2026: Highly recommended. Quick service, generous portions, and prices that reflect the quality and size of the food. The manager was very friendly; we were going to order a lot of food and she warned us about the portion sizes so we wouldn't order too much. A nice touch—not everywhere is this helpful. We really liked the place, right by the canal and very busy, with a great atmosphere. We would definitely go back.

04/06/2026: A lovely little place to keep in mind. You can eat on the terrace or in one of the indoor dining rooms. A pleasant experience with attentive staff.

17/08/2026: The crepes are delicious and nice and crispy, and the staff are always lovely.

15/08/2026: Very good, the classic savory crepes are well-made, the galette is crispy. However, I only note that the sweet crepes are a bit pricey considering the filling. But otherwise, I recommend it.
